Design Philosophy I am passionate about creating beauty in everything I do. I measure my personal success by the client’s satisfaction. I am persistent with a strong work ethic. I understand the entire scope of a project not just the actual design. I enjoy the challenge of solving problems while creating unique designs that will stand the test of time. I am eager with the willingness to learn and I hope to make a positive impact in the world through the use of design.

Hospitality Design
The 108 year old building, located at 2214 Bryan Street, Dallas, Texas, was designed By Lang and Witchell. The Architectural duo has had a lasting effect on Dallas’ architectural style. The firm was a master of the skyscraper as it defined and shaped the image of Dallas. During their career, they built many of Dallas’ most well known buildings including the Neiman Marcus Building, the Southwestern Life Insurance Company, and the Majestic Theatre. They were known for creating quality designs in the current mode including one of Dallas’ most prestigious Art Deco Buildings: Dallas Power and Light Building.

Commercial Design
Studio E Architects, a San Diego, California based Architectural firm, is a small firm that has decided to expand their business to Austin, Texas. Studio E works hard to have an understanding of place, its authenticity, and its inventive optimism. Their mission statement is to “embrace everyday phenomena and rituals, express a richer understanding of place, and respond to the natural environment. With their mission statement in mind, the goal of this project is to create a space that inspires the collaboration of free-flowing ideas in an environment that is free from egos and hierarchy.
Schematic Design
Studio E’s new office will be designed in a former derelict, multi-story Industrial warehouse that has been re-purposed into an office space. Using the building’s existing Industrial design, the design style will be juxtaposed with both vintage, reclaimed objects, living walls, color, and minimal aesthetics.

Restaurant Design
“Our goal is To provide sincerest appreciation to the seafood lovers who make it possible for us to serve the highest quality of seafood available worldwide in a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere”.
Design Goals
To maintain the suitably elegant leitmotif that Gustavo Montemayor is known for, the restaurant’s design will achieve the goals of creating a luxurious, intimate and relaxing environment for both business and leisure travelers alike. Luxury: To Create luxury and elevate the human experience through the use of high quality finishes such as granite surfaces and wood impregnated flooring while still reducing the environmental impact through local sourcing and green certified materials. Intimate: To create intimacy through controlling sound and creating ambiance through lighting as well as using architectural partitions to give the clients visual privacy. Relaxing: Like the name Costa Azul suggests, the coast can be calming and restorative power of the natural world especially with the soothing presence of moving water. A relaxing environment will be created with multiple water features that will naturally evokes a sense of peace and well-being.
