A consistent graphic treatment was required to improve the overall quality of the supplied images. Cofunds are the UK’s largest independent investment platform – enabling their clients to place a selection of funds from many different fund providers into one consolidated portfolio.

Marketing material for the IFA market The primary objective for this project was to raise awareness of the benefits and services that Cofunds offered the IFA market. Part of the solution took the form of a branded desk calendar which was designed to give a year-long presence in front of brokers. The client was so pleased with the creative, they requested that it be sent out early and so it became the world’s first 15 month calendar.

BMI hospitals move to Countrywide List We recently announced that, following the completion of negotiations with the BMI hospital group, all of their hospitals will move onto our Countrywide List with effect from 16 February 2003. Together with the other prestigious hospital groups such as BUPA, Nuffield and Capio already included on this list, it means that our Countrywide List now contains every private hospital outside London and all NHS hospitals with dedicated private patient units. Existing individual and corporate customers will be informed of these changes as their policies renew.

Rate changes with effect from 16 February 2003 Individual business The underlying rates for our Primecare range and Choices product will rise by 4.2%. This follows no increase at our normal November review which was deferred because of the impending changes to our hospital lists. Most products not open to new business will see the same 4.2% rise with the exception of our non-NCD Saver and SuperSaver products which will see a 10.5% rise.

London Upgrade premiums to reduce We are also pleased to say that, thanks to a reduction in the premium loadings for our two London Upgrade options over our Countrywide List, premiums for these two lists will be substantially lower with effect from 16 February 2003.

Deal Castle is one of the finest Tudor artillery works in England. It is among the earliest and most elaborate of a chain of coastal forts, which includes Calshot, Camber, Walmer and St. Mawes Castles. Most were built at great speed between 1539 and 1540, by order of King Henry VIII, who feared an invasion by the Catholic powers of Europe. Its squat, rounded turrets were designed to deflect incoming cannon fire and acted as platforms from which to launch barrages from increasingly sophisticated artillery pieces. It guarded the sheltered anchorage of ‘the Downs’ – the stretch of water between the shore and the infamous Goodwin Sands, which was considered a graveyard of ships.Today, you can explore the whole of the castle from the storerooms to the first-floor captain’s residence. A pleasant cycle path links Deal and Walmer Castles along the beachfront.

EXCITING RENOVATIONS AND NEW VILLAGES We have relaunched our Village of Les Boucaniers in Martinique and it will open again for this winter season. A former haunt of the pirates of the Caribbean, this site has long been one of the most well-known at Club Med and also one of the finest in the French West Indies. The objective of the renovation was to make it even more beautiful, bright and colourful, by emphasising its authentic character as a charming fishing village with lively Creole traditions. It now has a magnificent swimming pool, a choice of several settings and styles, as well as completely new rooms. All in all, a very successful relaunch! And in the Maldives, the sublime island Village and dream destination of Kani has been given a whole new look. This Village is a paradise just above water, bordered by a white sandy beach. All the rooms have been refurbished with exquisite taste and the new bungalows on stilts rise up like palm trees above the turquoise surface of the lagoon.
