NEW 775DT DIRT SERIES LIGHT DIRT AND DRAINAGE TRENCHER The new 775DT is the first “light” Tesmec trencher specifically developed to be employed in dirt excava on and drainage works. It comes to fulfill customers requirement for a trencher that must be at the same me light, maneuverable and with a low ground pressure (suitable to be employed in so and muddy terrains), but also rugged, produc ve, trustworthy
and reliable like only a Tesmec trencher can be. The new 775DT is the fusion of all there features, joining together light weight and robustness, transportability, produc vity and reliability and, last but not least, a very high user friendliness thanks to the brand new electronic control TrenchTronic.

Tesmec esmecNews 06#2012 MAIN FEATURES AND ADVANTAGES Low ground pressure and high floaƟng capability: the ground pressure of the new 775DT ranges between 0.285 and 0.35 kg/cm2, thanks to its low weight (15.5 to 19 tons in opera ng condi ons, according to configura on and op ons) and to its oversized undercarriage. This feature, together with a well balanced weight distribu on, allow the machine to “float” even in very so or swampy terrains. High producƟvity: the close loop hydraulic transmission, together with the exclusive Tesmec flywheel gearbox allows the new 775DT to transmit to the digging a achment the full power delivered by its 225 HP CAT C6.6 Tier III engine. Moreover, due to the differing load nature of the excava on process (due to its discon nuous nature), the flywheel gearbox can deploy a peak torque up to three mes the torque delivered by the hydraulic motor. This is one of the reasons that make the new 775DT much more effec ve in excava on if compared to compe tor’s trenchers of the same size. Jobsite reports show producƟvity rates up to 320 m/h (2,55 m depth, 41 cm width) in normal agricultural soil. The new 775DT Chainsaw is able to dig, in one single pass only, a trench 0.61 m (24 inch) wide and 2.44 m (8 ) deep, which is usually possible only with bigger

Til ng undercarriage (+/- 10° excursion) – this allows to have the walls of the trench always ver cal, even when working on a not properly leveled or uneven ground.

Oversized cross conveyor, to stockpile excavated material beside the trench. Conveyor dimensions are oversized, in order to guarantee the disposal of all the excavated material even at higher machine advance rate, with the maximum trench sec on and in wet ground condi ons. The conveyor is shi able and reversible, and the excavated material can be discharged alterna vely on both sides of the machine.

Manual / Automa c laser system, fully integrated into the new TrenchTronic 3.0 control. Requires only a laser transmi er (on ground) and receiver (installed on the machine boom) for full implementa on. The control system of the machine automa cally adjusts boom posi on according to the laser signal, allowing an accurate control of trench depth and trench bo om slope.

High ease of use: the brand new TrenchTronic 3.0 electronic control is very user friendly and it allows even inexperienced operators to deploy the full machine poten al and achieve maximum produc vity. The exclusive “Automa c +” autopilot developed by Tesmec con nuously monitors both the pressure of the digging circuit and the engine RPM, and con nuously adjust the advance speed of the machine according to digging condi ons. The machine automa cally operates in the “op mal” working condi ons (digging pressure and engine RPM) set by the Tesmec so ware. No setup is required by the operator, thus increasing produc vity and reducing excava on costs. High Transportability: with its low weight and small dimensions (2.55 m width, 3.08 m height, 9.26 m max transport length – 15.5-19 ton (34,171 lb - 37,500 lb) weight according to configura on and op ons) the new 775DT Chainsaw can be easily transported with no requirement for special permissions or authoriza ons, thus minimizing logis c costs.
