Gregg Turicchi and Zach Turicchi Keystone Company, the Turicchi family’s firm, has been building homes in Texas for 30-plus years and in Port Aransas for more than a decade. Their projects include the award-winning Beachwalk 1 and 2 developments on Mustang Island. The Turicchis specialize in upper-end, custom home construction and take a “hands on” approach. Keystone Company built the 2009 Southern Living Idea House at Cinnamon Shore and is now nationally approved Southern Living builders. Zach Turicchi began his building career as a young boy following 06
his father Gregg Turicchi around on construction sites. Some years ago, Zach left his career as a graphic design entrepreneur to join his father—the principal of Keystone Company—as a builder partner. Zach’s creative talent from his previous career was as asset in designing home plans and interior finishes. BUCKWILD BUILDERS
Jerry Buckley Jerry Buckley has been in the construction industry for approximately 40 years. His experience stints as a custom home framing contractor, then as a superintendent, and then a project manager. He has built custom homes as well as condominiums, townhomes and commercial projects. After building projects in several states including Dade County Florida, Jerry decided to come home to Texas to start Buckwild Builders. Over the last several years, he completed The Moorings at Mustang Island, a townhouse project of 21 residences priced

from $750,000 to $1.3 million. He also built the Susan Castor Collection Beach House at Cinnamon Shore, which was the highlight of the 2010 Seaside Home Tour and viewed by thousands of visitors on tours that raised money for the Port Aransas Education Foundation. With extensive knowledge of coastal building requirements and a handson approach to all projects, Jerry, joined by his son Donald and his wife Sheila, thrives on quality workmanship and strives to build lasting relationships with all homeowners.

Chris Conner Chris Conner is a fifth-generation Texan and a third-generation builder who has a feel for how homes fit into the native landscape and a deep attention to craftsmanship. Chris learned to put quality and function first from his father, a University of Texas-trained architect who joined the Houston-based construction company started by his grandfather. Chris broadened his own business to undertake commercial projects that include hospitals and restaurants as well as retail,

medical and condominium buildings. Those projects led to private commissions to build luxury homes for his satisfied commercial clients, who prized his attention to detail and craftsmanship. Conner Coastal Homes is employing Chris’s principles of architectural balance and proportion, as well as the latest energy conservation technology in custom homes and the Two Town Center luxury condominium building for Cinnamon Shore.

Jodi Steen With over two decades of building and developing experience in the Coastal bend area, Jodi Steen, owner of Newport Custom Homes and a Certified Green Professional with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), has committed to building her reputation and to crafting fine homes, just as she learned under the guidance of her father three decades ago.
