Happy 100th

Post and Auxiliary members, the community as well as family members of WWII Veteran Sir Ollie Morris help celebrate his 100th Birthday. Songs from the 1940s were played in the background along with video of WWII Bombers. Sir Ollie holds the Distinguished Flying Cross and the French Legion of Merit for his service during World War II. He was knighted when he received the French Legion of Merit award. Happy Birthday, Ollie!

Texas VFW Post 12178, Weslaco

Members of CalderonDaily Memorial VFW Post 12178, Weslaco, along with Nikki Rowe, Texas VFW 2369, McAllen, participate in the City of Pharr’s “Pharr Too Many — 22 a Day” suicide awareness 5K Run. Veterans and Police spoke about how not to give in to the “war within.”
