[ This collection has experimented with yarn types and materials by exploring the reactions of them when finished in different ways. The selection of the materials have been focused on to produce the best results to maintain the the quality of the fabric. The drive for this experimental process was to understand materials and processes to strengthen technical knowledge through investigation. The direction is to find ways to engage the customer with the product, by giving them the chance to finish the product themselves. This collection has been inspired by sustainable, environmental issues and consumer habits. The designer maker has developed a fabric which is desirable before it has been finished properly. The end result will encourage consumers to interact with the product and to venture into the unknown. This will encourage them to spend more time with the fabric, learn more about the yarn types by interacting with them and making choices to finishing the fabric in certain areas. ]
