Introduction to Social Sciences BEHS 210 (3 credits) Explore the social and behavioral sciences and learn about careers in fields such as sociology, anthropology, and psychology. This interdisciplinary course will cover culture, geography, the individual, family, education, politics, and economics. By investigating several disciplines, you’ll gain an understanding of how the social and behavioral sciences relate to one another and how they help us better understand the complex nature of society.

Topics include:

• Historical, cultural, and political overview of the social sciences • Introduction to interdisciplinary study • The scientific method and research methods

Monday, 1800-2100 Class number: 85931, GoArmyEd number: 141059 May apply toward the general education requirement in behavioral and social science, the social science major (required), and electives. Students will receive credit for only one of the following: BEHS 201 or BEHS 210.
