Introduction to Statistics STAT 200 (3 credits) Statistics is an essential subject that applies to everyday life and work. Whether you want to understand the latest polls and numbers that are mentioned in the news media or learn how to collect, analyze, and explain data for your job, Introduction to Statistics is an integral course to add to your education arsenal.

Topics include:

• Data collection and sampling methods • Tables, graphs, percentiles, and concepts of probability • Sample size calculations, correlation, and regression

May be applied toward a variety of majors and minors and Associate of Arts curricula, as well as certificates in accounting foundations, management, mathematics, and electives.
