The Radlett Centre Season Brochure - February - May 2025

Page 1

A warm welcome to our first brochure of 2025

We may have just finished one pantomime, but it’s never too early to book for the next one! Cinderella is already on sale, along with some other really great family shows. These include Room on the Broom, Teddy Bear’s Picnic, There’s a Monster in your Show, Wizard of Oz and Elmer the Elephant. There are also two shows that are a perfect introduction to ballet for children, Snow White & Rose Red in March and Puss in Boots in June. Save money by booking for both at the same time.

This season includes tributes to Steps, Queen, The Drifters, Abba, The Spice Girls and Taylor Swift.

Other musical evenings include One Night in Dublin, Strictly Nashville, Jive Aces and the wonderful Gary Williams in Legends of Las Vegas.

Following an acclaimed UK Tour, we are very proud to present Ode to Joyce featuring Cheryl Knight’s uncanny portrayal of Joyce Grenfell.

Comedy is as popular as ever and Live at the Radlett returns in both January and May with separate line ups. We are also pleased to welcome evenings with Richard Herring, Angela Barnes and Mark Steel

In 2021 Richard Herring went to his GP to find out why his right ball seemed to be growing bigger. It turned out that he had testicular cancer and one month later he was lying in hospital waiting to have his murderous gonad removed. Would he survive? (No spoilers!).

For a comedian who had done a whole show on male genitalia (Talking Cock) and written a book about toxic masculinity (The Problem With Men) this felt like some cruel trick of fate.

With extra dates added in 2025 for his muchanticipated return to stand-up after six years, Richard talks bollocks and answers the question on everyone’s lips: Is a severed gonad in a jar a fitting prize to bring in for Taskmaster?

Adam Ashton Adam uses all mediums in art but mainly specialises in oil, charcoal and pencil. Adam’s overall aim is to create realistic art conveying a different story or mood, with his main intention being when the viewer observes his work they will always find something new. On display will be a collection of Adam’s artwork from his oil paint portraits, abstract and contemporary spray paint art.

“Whispers of Bloom,” inspired by nature, wellbeing, and the spirit of community, is a heartfelt showcase of Pratibha’s latest work. This collection, along with a selection of collaborative pieces, brings together paintings that weave human expression into the beauty of the natural world. Each piece reflects a journey— one where art meets nature to celebrate growth, healing, and connection.
