Madonna is a strong pole dedicated to hospitality, allowing you to reach the critical mass of hotel rooms. It has been treated like a Tuscan rustic that contrasts with the nobility of the villa without opposing it and without trying to imitate it. Without prejudice to the shape, the volumes of the building and the floor levels, the building has been completely emptied. To break the massiveness of the building, the roof of the current garage has been emptied in order to give light to the interior. The facades have been recomposed adapting them to the new hotel functions while maintaining the dimensional variety of the windows, with dimensions common to the intermediate floors, smaller in the attics, and minimal for the openings that give light to the service rooms. The now rough facade has been enriched by plastering it again in the parts that do not have exposed stone, painting it with neutral colors. All the added elements are of traditional materials and appearance, but purified from decorations and tinsel, avoiding banal imitations of vernacular solutions.

Located just 10 minutes from Leonardo da Vinci International Airport of Rome, and next to Exhibition center of Rome, Eiffel Center has potential to become an international hub with variety of office space for different needs and environment for exchange of idea and exhibition. At the heart of the renovation is a garden with generous area for greenery and outdoor activities which will occupy the current concrete roof of the parking. This encourages social activities and gives a more gentle atmosphere for the comp l e x. T o c om p l e te th e “ n e w l o o k ” o f th e cour t y ar d, a new and dy nam i c lay er o n t he f ac ade ar o und t h e courtyard is added with triangular shaped elements. This allows to improve energy efficiency especially during summer days. As an international office building a new reception area also added to welcome a large number of staffs and visitors with atrium connect 4 floors, and erases the boundary between the i nt e r i or w i th th e g a rd e n th a n k to l a rg e glass c ur r ent walls.
