Getting ready for the 2023 edition, from 8 to 11 May at Fieramilano

TUTTOFOOD is the B2B exhibition for the entire agri-food ecosystem. Global and innovative, it is a reference for worldwide producers and distributors of quality products along the entire Food & Beverage value chain. During the exhibition, they have the opportunity to meet with international buyers such as distributors, importers, large-scale retail, proximity stores, gourmet stores, food service, Out of Home professionals, and chefs. TUTTOFOOD is also the event that outlines market and consumer trends and supports operators in transforming them into growth opportunities through insights and professional skills.

TUTTOFOOD’s mission is to promote high-quality products: building on a layout based on vertical product areas, the exhibition offers a complete range while focusing on both traditional products and emerging foods, besides new market segments. Among the sectors represented at TUTTOFOOD, the latest new features are TUTTOFRUIT – an area dedicated to fresh fruit and vegetables and to innovation in the 4th and 5th range– together with TUTTOHEALTH, TUTTODIGITAL and TUTTOWINE. At the same time, TUTTOFOOD keeps consolidating its historic sectors TUTTODAIRY, TUTTODRINK, TUTTOFROZEN, TUTTOGROCERY, TUTTOHEALTH, TUTTOMEAT, TUTTOOIL, TUTTOPASTA, TUTTOSEAFOOD, TUTTOSWEET, TUTTOWORLD.

However, TUTTOFOOD isn’t only an international marketplace and an opportunity for networking with high profile national and international buyers –it’s also a reliable partner that supports Food & Beverage companies all year round. It monitors markets and consumers on a regular basis in order to share in-depth analyses within a comprehensive events programme, together with innovative digital platforms allowing operators to enjoy a new, hybrid experience, both physical and digital. An example is Retail Plaza, the reference event for the discourse on innovation in the sector: a series of meetings where top managers, academics and experts will outline the future of retail, analyse new trends and compare best practices. With Evolution Plaza –the event centred on digitalisation– TUTTOFOOD offers an unparalleled point of view on the Food & Beverage industry. In terms of digital tools, TUTTOFOOD has developed the Expoplaza platform that enables the TUTTOFOOD stakeholder to contact each other directly within a business-aware community, based on strong relationships that continuously generate value and opportunities.

The last edition of TUTTOFOOD was held from 22 to 26 October 2021 at Fieramilano alongside HostMilano, the international exhibition dedicated to food service and hospitality, and MEAT-TECH, the event dedicated to meat processing and ready meals technologies. The 2021 edition gathered 1,421 exhibitors, 233 of which international from 31 countries. The most represented countries include France, Spain, Greece, the Netherlands, Belgium, followed by Portugal, the United Kingdom, the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe. From outside Europe, interesting presences were registered from the Middle East and North and South America, and also from Indonesia. As to international buyers, delegations from 66 countries took part in the exhibition, also thanks to the ongoing support of the Italian Trade Agency, which works with TUTTOFOOD in profiling and researching new operators. High attendance was registered in particular from the United States, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Russia and France.

Thanks to its constant dialogue with Italian and international key players, TUTTOFOOD is able to identify current and future grocery trends. As we are approaching the next appointment with the exhibition, at Fieramilano from 8 to 11 May 2023, TUTTOFOOD keeps analysing consumer habits and product innovations companies are focusing on, in line with its ongoing attention for changes and innovations in the agri-food industry. In a scenario where overall consumption is slowing down, grocery expenditures represent 1.7 billion euros in value out of almost 4 billion total, according to surveys by IRI for TUTTOFOOD.

Among the most relevant trends to keep an eye on along our journey to TUTTOFOOD 2023, a few stand out: cooking at home with home materials from certified supply chains, more high-quality products, a growing interest in local produces, environmentally friendly farming, and animal welfare.

If grocery’s main feature is innovation, manufacturers and buyers agree that further growth in the sector will depend on the ability to combine advanced technologies and cost-effective processes with excellence, sustainability and customisation: as the reference meeting point in Italy for international companies and buyers, TUTTOFOOD will address these challenges and will showcase solutions to turn them into business opportunities.
