TICC X CNA

We share the official visit of a delegation from the Thai - Italian Chamber of Commerce, TICC, led by vice president, Mr. Simone Callai, which took place on 29 September at the CNA headquarters in Arezzo. During the meeting with the representatives of CNA, Ms. Donatella Scalese and Mr. Francesco Mercurio, many positive ideas of collaboration were explored, such as the joint organization of promotional activities with the aim of facilitating the access of Italian businesses to the Thai market. At the end of the meeting, the vice president Simone Callai gave CNA as a sign of friendship and good luck, a commemorative banknote of His Majesty Rama IX, Bhumibol Adulyadej, printed on the occasion of the king’s birthday on December 5, 2011. The banknote was printed to celebrate the Mae Roem Reservoir Project on a royal initiative to bring relief to the Thai people.

Among the first projects in the calendar, both institutions set the first appointment for November 24 in Bangkok with Piazza Italiana, where a selection of agri-food companies presented by CNA Arezzo, promoted in a B2B day in the Conference Hall of the headquarters of the Thai- Italian Chamber of Commerce at the Vanit Building in Bangkok. The day of meetings was inaugurated by TICC President Federico Cardini.

The event was made possible thanks to close coordination and promotion between the two institutions, as well as the logistical support of MM Freight which made it possible to transport the samples to Bangkok in less than 4 days.

Piazza Italiana welcomed the participation of over 50 operators, selected by the Chamber of Commerce. This event marks the first of a series of cooperation activities that CNA Arezzo and the Italian-Thai Chamber of Commerce wish to program in view of 2022 for the benefit of Italian companies in Thailand.
