• Commitment to preparation: “We are preparing your sons and daughters to leave, from the moment they arrive.” • Academic: Leading examination results in the region for IGCSE and A-Level providing our students the opportunities to access elite Universities of their choice including Oxbridge and Ivy League institutions. • A clear academic pathway: Structured through the English National Curriculum from 3 to 18 years: Play learning, Forest School pedagogy at age 3 and 4 leads to increasingly independent learning throughout the school. In the Senior School our discovery based Key Stage 3 curriculum leads to focus at IGCSE and A-Level as students develop competency and hone in on their university aspiration. • Enhanced provision through co-curriculum: Opportunities for Year 1 upwards to experience a wide range of opportunities outside the classroom with a balance of participation, performance and challenge. • Sports: Commitment to Sports and physical activity. For example: Tennis, Football, Basketball, Swimming. Elite level pathways beyond Shrewsbury can lead to sports scholarships. A process supported by our Higher Education team. • Partnerships: Shrewsbury looks to form partnerships with the outside world. For example, the Equity Partnership Networking with JD Central and the Equitable Education Fund to develop and improve products from disadvantaged communities across Thailand to be sold via e-commerce.

Musical training and support is widely encouraged with frequent performances. • Academic Enrichment Opportunities: Research projects, science experimental projects, and critical thinking courses are given a lot of priority with plenty of debating & discussion. • Facilities: Unique riverside campus, purpose-built facilities enhanced by provision of new Senior School and sports facilities from August 2021. These buildings are specially designed with the support of our ‘student voice’. • Modern learning: Focus on flexible furnishing and spaces so that students are in charge of what and how they want to learn, lots of openness and green spaces which can be seen in Early Years Garden linking with our Forest School concept. • Global School: Shrewsbury campuses in Thailand (Riverside and City Campuses), Hong Kong and with further schools planned in China. UK Sister school founded in 1552

Links to Italy:

• Several Shrewsbury students have opted to study at Italian Universities over the past few years. • Consistent representation of Italian nationals in our student community. 1% of our whole school community amongst the 40 nations represented. • You-Time program: An extensive after-school program that has recently included Italian language, cultural activities and cooking classes. Activities such as this help students to understand different cultures. • Collaborations with Italian restaurants and businesses support our commitment to Internationalism and enhance specific community events such as the Farmers Market and International Food Fair.
