Hey, I'm Thao (the ‘h’ is silent)... a corporate career gal from small town Pennsylvania, metro-Detroit Michigan, and now settled in West Michigan’s Grand Rapids area with a passion for all things documentation. I mom hard to 2 boys and a girl in stilettos, prefer being a homebody most days, and am an online shopping addict. Above all, I always keep it real in the different facets/titles of my life. I'm a lifestyle photographer, blessed to serve people through artfully documenting their stories. Since 2010, I've been fortunate to photograph so many individuals and families who are madly in love with life, by illustrating their chapters in an authentic way through my natural light, detail-obsessed, and unobtrusive shooting methods that later translate into timeless heirlooms with all the people they love. Recognized as a highly skilled professional photographer and artist with ClickPro – I am constantly on a journey to master and evolve my art. Nothing brings me more joy than the feeling of an old photograph conjuring up emotions, nostalgia, and gratitude for that moment. choice I’ve done a lot of research on the numbers and have found that pricing is all over the board, even when you compare quality of the artist’s work. Numbers alone are not enough to make a decision about who should be invited to share your smallest and biggest moments. Then I thought - as a customer of photography, I want a moment-driven skilled artist who will deliver remarkable results. I want choice around the kinds of photos I never want to forget and I want a strong vision. I don’t want my memories to be limited based on a budget or by someone who could afford one of those nice cameras. I want my memories to be expressed as beautifully as I live them every day. That is why, as your photographer, my favorite session delivers your entire heart in a full, high resolution, professionally edited digital archive with the ‘perfect pose’ where everyone is idyllically standing and looking at the camera all the way to the in-between candids and naturally adoring connections. My artistic expression of your life comes with moments where everyone is laughing, because you can’t take yourselves seriously all of the time. It includes a capture of that family member who delivers a grumpy face in protest of any photo session, or the one who needs to jump around to release energy and interrupting them with a ‘say cheese!’ just won’t cut it. These are all your moments and they should always be yours to keep—never culled or passed by in favor of the ‘perfect pose’. You get to take these digitals and repurpose them into the books, prints, and crafts that you enjoy. How you display your moments is up to you, not hostage to my predetermined print and store options. I, of course, can help you with exceptional products you’d cherish and I can also recommend the best consumer photo labs to ensure the color and quality of the prints meets your and my expectations without having to go through my professional sources. Parents, I want to make this pressure-less experience simple and effortless for you. As an (introverted) consumer, I avoid in-person, up-selling pitches that force you into immediate decisions to balloon your spend. You get to decide what is more important to you, digitals... prints... a mix of both in a beautiful, private online gallery.
