When Itsy hears the beep of his alarm, he hops out of bed with a grin. Today he is going home to visit his family for Christmas vacation!

First things First, Itsy calls his friend Linda at Panhandle Plains Realty to ask her to help him pick out gifts for his family around Pampa.

Itsy has been working hard at the toy workshop, saving every dollar to buy gifts for his family back home. He just can’t wait to see the folks at his favorite local Pampa Businesses!

Linda and Itsy’s next stop is at The Plaza Restaurant to have lunch and to buy gift certificates for Itsy’s family for Holiday Gifts.

Once they finished their delicious lunch, Linda and Itsy walk over to the Pampa Independent School District building to spread some holiday cheer and check on the choir concert schedule.

Their Next stop was the Gray County Veterinary Clinic. They wanted to drop off some small gifts to thank them for taking such good care of their pets.

Linda and Itsy spent the day visiting their friends at Rheams Diamond Shop, Bill Allison Auto Sales, Alpha Door and Cabot. Spreading cheer, Wishing everyone a happy holiday and leaving each one a small gift that Itsy had purchased earlier.

Boy, does it feel good to make people smile and spread holiday cheer!

Itsy was so full of the Holiday Spirit after visiting his friends at Keyes Pharmacy and Hidden Hills Golf Course that he wanted to donate the rest of the gifts he had bought for his family to the Toy Drive for local Pampa Residents.

As Itsy gets closer to home, he suddenly starts to get nervous. He wonders if his family will be upset that he’s arriving without any Christmas presents for them. He gave them all away while visiting all his friends around town. Will they understand that sometimes it’s better to give than to receive?

When Mom opens the door and everyone rushes to say hello and welcome him home, Itsy begins to cry. He tells his parents, brothers and sisters that he doesn’t have anything to give them for Christmas. He gave away all of their gifts!

“Itsy,” they say, “why would we need gifts when your presence is the best present of all? The holidays are all about helping people, and we’re proud of you. Welcome home!”
