Meet Hip Hop Musician

"Grip Da Bodyrocka" from Cleveland, Ohio

Henry Abercrombie III BKA Grip Da Bodyrocka AKA Big Grip, a native of Cleveland Ohio, where he remained until the age of 15 years old. Grip is no stranger to the street life growing up on Kingsman avenue and running through the rough streets of Indianapolis (BKA Naptown). At a very young age and realizing that music was his passion; Grip began on a journey to find his creative self. He founded his own label G.O.T.G Mafia Music Entertainment Group in 2008. It wasn't until two years after that in 2010 Grip Da Bodyrocka began to perfect his craft and create his own path toward making his own mark on the music industry with songs such his early records such as “Can You Keep Up” and “Ima Beast”. Grip DBR has collaborated with artists and producers such as DJ Unk, Bricc Hard, Bone The Butcher, Taru, Wildlife Ent, Hip Hop Legend Keith Murray. and producers such as Blasian Beats, Orelli,, Mr. Universal, and King David of “Slideway’s ENT”. On Dec 25,2022 the release of his starring roll in indie film "Flytalk 101"will sure to widen the audience's consumption of Grip's talent and skill.

Suzi Analogue, “Infinite Zonez” (Album)

Suzi Analogue’s influence on hip hop production and electronic music is undeniable. Her glitched out footwork beats, fearless drum & bass fusions, and unique sonic palette have netted her collaborations with some of the buzziest experimental hip -hop artists performers in the scene, like Knxwledge, Quelle Chris, and DJ Earl. From 2016 to 2019, Analogue documented her experiments on Zonez V.1 through Zonez V.4, a series of mixtapes that Analogue calls “an audio/visual mood board.” The series chronicled formative moments in Analogue’s life and career through sound and impeccable graphic design. Now, a selection of tracks from all four r eleases has been compiled into Infinite Zonez, which showcases the expansiveness of Analogue’s music while also serving as an empowering call to action for female producers of color to rally and rise.

Highly Lifted Up single by Precious Mude

The Real Reason Kobe Bryant Didn't Do Extra Curricular Activities in the Industry

I knew it. I knew it. I knew it. See, nobody hears it when I say it. But, when one of these talking heads say it, oh, it just might be true, huh? Please.

When LeBron James first came to tha Lakers, I hated it. I liked absolutely nothing about it. And here's why. For Kobe Bryant to be tha symbol of a true champion, a legacy player. 20 solid years in his career with one team. Even when things got ugly, he stayed with tha show! He didn't run off to Chicago looking for a "faster" or "better" chance of winning a chip. All that "it was always my dream to play for tha Lakers" nonsense is out; not good enough for tha tried & true Angeleno who actually witnessed tha mere contruction of Staples Center at tha most recent turn of tha century.

Ok, let me get to my point here. I don't mean to ramble on as if I'm Stephen A. Smith or something. So, here's tha deal. I always told people that LeBron trying to eclipse Kobe's 5 championship rings with tha Lakers is unacceptable. Everybody's response was always something to tha effect of how much that couldn't be tha case based on tha respect and admiration James has been known to have for Bryant. But, as great as LeBron James is, I knew it was only a matter of time before tha GOAT conversations

would be between James and Jordan, ending with no mention of Kobe Bryant. Yes, tha conversation would go from Michael Jordan to LeBron James

Now, you can present all tha facts and statistics you want. But, if LeBron James is truly that great of a player who, in my opinion should've played football tha way he wills himself to tha rim every game, then why does he feel tha need to run to winning teams? Why can't he make his team better like he did in Cleveland that one year lol? LeBron James belongs on tha Cleveland Cavaliers. That city deserves him. And it would be a respectable legacy.

I don't acknowledge James' ring in Los Angeles. Nope. It didn't happen. But, James is not tha subject of this article. Kobe is. And here is why Kobe Bryant wasn't involved in extra curricular activities like Jordan and James were. Because he was busy practicing! Because he was busy shooting in tha gym! That is what was more important to him. How much more money would've made it worthwhile for Kobe Bryant to compromise tha assurance of his greatness? Perhaps it's tha movies and such that give fans tha projection of success when referring to one's career.

– How ya’ll doing B.H. Tryggs & Black Canvas? Looks like you guys survived the pandemic and dropped a new project “Renaissance II“. What else were you up to during the lockdown?

B.H. Tryggs: A lot of building. Early in the pandemic I started focusing on our beats and took

over production as, “The Oracle”.

Black Canvas: During this same time I began buying our videography equipment and focused on learning how to edit video all while we both continued to study sound recording. We have two studios between us.
