As I stand and wave and have a smile I watch you pass by As I stand for hours haven’t made a dime, but I still smile and you pass me by.

I wonder what kind of day you might have had or do you wonder about me as I wave and smile you pass me by.

I pray for each one of my customers. I hope you pray for me as I smile and wave please don’t pass me by.

Raise early in the morning stand on me feet til mid afternoon not for you to pass me by.

I like you a lot thanks for waving back while you pass me by.

Don’t feel sad for me just stop by and get a paper and don’t pass me by.

I greet you with a smile a wave for good measure you wave and smile back but you still pass me by.
