This past year, The Langley School enjoyed a year-long birthday party as we celebrated the school’s 75th anniversary. Langley started as a cooperative school in 1942, with parents at the heart of everything we did from mulching the flower beds and painting to handling plumbing and building playgrounds. As part of these cooperative roots, our summer program – then called Summer Growth – was introduced in 1975. I’m thrilled to see how our summer program has grown and evolved over the decades, while staying true to our belief in the necessity and power of a strong partnership with parents. I hope you enjoy the many new classes we’ve added to our offerings in 2018. Each year, we seek input from students, parents, and educators on how to continue to offer fun, relevant, and stimulating classes that appeal to the many interests and passions of our campers. I look forward to seeing how you “mix+match” classes to build your child’s perfect summer! -Dr. Elinor Scully, Head of The Langley School
NEW!
Math+Language Arts offerings incorporate academic concepts with fun adventures
NEW!
Sports+Games classes reflect the latest student interests, including popular TV game shows
