CREATIVE TEAM BIOS
DOT AUCHMOODY (Costume Design) first stepped on the stage as an actor at the age of 9 as an orphan in Oliver! She holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from Barrington College. Her love of theatre was an avocation throughout her professional career in New England. After relocating to Naples in 1999 with her husband Mark Vanagas, she was hired by The Naples Players in 2002 as the first Costume Shop Supervisor. She will always be grateful for the opportunity to turn her avocation into a fulfilling, creative career that has allowed her to continue to grow her skills as a designer. She is proud to have developed the Costume Department into a professional quality shop. She really enjoys working with the volunteers and the laughter that can always be found on the 3rd floor.
PLUTO BOLL (Sound Design) loves noise and especially making it. This is their first time with TNP as the full season Sound Intern, and they are very excited to be on board at the theatre. Thank you to the cast and crew for being so inviting during this process!
JILLIAN FEIGENBLAT (Properties Coordinator) graduated from Florida Atlantic University with her BFA in theatrical technology and design. This will be her second time working with The Naples Players and she couldn’t be happier to be back and creating with such a wonderful team again! Her most recent work experience was with American Players Theatre in Spring Green, Wisconsin where she worked as a properties artisan. She hopes you enjoy the show (and the props!)
MIKE SANTOS (Scenic Design) (Scenic Design) has been designing, building, and painting sets for TNP for over 19 years now. He likes to go on long walks around the neighborhood. And always brings a poop bag. But if you do make a mistake on the floor, he won’t make you feel bad about it. If you’re good, he may give you a treat. This show is dedicated to Taz. He was a very good boy.
ESTHER SNYDER (Stage Manager) is thrilled to return to a role she has not held since 2017. Previous SM credits include The Spitfire Grill, A Sleeping Country, and I Hate Hamlet. She thanks her dedicated, fun-loving cast; Jessica and Twoey for an entertaining rehearsal process; Cole for covering tech week; and the many TNP volunteers for their work on all aspects of this production. Much love to Daisy, the bestest dog a girl could ever have.
BRADLEY VAN HOUTEN (Sound Design) earned his bachelor’s degree in Theatre: Design & Technical Production and Theatre: Stage Management from Western Michigan University. Originally from Michigan, he now calls Florida and The Naples Players home. Since starting with TNP in 2013, Brad has worked on countless productions and has enjoyed seeing how Team Sound has grown over the years. He is especially excited to expand opportunities for involvement in the future as TNP grows. In his off time, you can find Brad working on his Private Pilot’s License or enjoying a walk with his fur baby Malone, a Cocker Spaniel mix who knows just how cute he is.
CRAIG WALCK (Lighting Design) After initially working for TNP from 2000-2006, Craig returned to TNP in 2011 after working for Columbia University, The All-Stars Project, and other theatrical groups in New York City from 2006-2008. He then oversaw the completion of construction, opening, and first two years of operation of the Miramar Cultural Center in Miramar, FL from 2008-2011. Overall, Craig has designed the lighting for over 170 TNP productions. Originally from Niagara Falls, N.Y., and a graduate of SUNY Buffalo, he and his wife, Jessica, recently welcomed their greatest production ever: son Liam. Their dogs, Ziggy, Twoey, and Roscoe remain unimpressed.
JESSICA WALCK (Director) is a freelance director, actress and acting coach and enjoys sharing her passion for theatre. She served as the Associate Artistic Director of The Naples Players for 10 years. She privately instructs students in Naples and around the country for college auditions. A performer for many years, her recent acting credits include Ruth/ Blithe Spirit, Becky Foster/Becky’s New Car, Vixen/The Eight Reindeer Monologues, Miss Adelaide/Guys & Dolls, Ellen-Jenna/Maple & Vine among others. She enjoys directing children and adults and has helmed over 20 productions. She is an award-winning director for her production of Escanaba in da Moonlight (Broadway World Regional Winner for Best Play of the Decade). She is a proud member of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SDC) and is a graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. She also serves as a faculty member at New England Music Camp for their Summer musical theatre intensive. She was lucky enough to play the iconic role of Sylvia in TNP’s 2010 production and is so excited to help tell this story in a new way with this fabulous cast! Love to Craig, Liam and The Brood! www.jessicawalck.com
