…BUT THIS IS A GROUNDHOG
Luke 19:1-10 (NLT) Jesus and Zacchaeus Jesus entered Jericho and made his way through the town. 2 There was a man there named Zacchaeus. He was the chief tax collector in the region, and he had become very rich. 3 He tried to get a look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowd. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree beside the road, for Jesus was going to pass that way. 5 When Jesus came by, he looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by name. “Zacchaeus!” he said. “Quick, come down! I must be a guest in your home today.” 6 Zacchaeus quickly climbed down and took Jesus to his house in great excitement and joy. 7 But the people were displeased. “He has gone to be the guest of a notorious sinner,” they grumbled.
8
Meanwhile, Zacchaeus stood before the Lord and said,
“I will give half my wealth to the poor, Lord, and if I have cheated people on their taxes, I will give them back four times as much!” 9 Jesus responded, “Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man[a] came to seek and save those who are lost.” Why would I see a groundhog in a tree and think of Zacchaeus? It wasn’t just the groundhog in a tree but the fact that its tax time and cold when it is usually warm and that animal wobble- wobble- wobbled across the yard then pulled himself up in that tree and started feasting on its green leaves UNTIL I came close looking at him. He looked at me and I took pictures. It was a combination of things happening that stirred that old childhood song in my mind and I started singing it… ♫ ♪♫♫ Zacchaeus was a wee little man ~~ A wee little man was he ♫ ♪♫♫ ♫ ♪♫♫ He climbed up in a sycamore tree ~~ For the LORD he wanted to see ♫ ♪♫♫ ♫ ♪♫♫and when the Savior passed his way~~He looked up in that tree ♫ ♪♫♫ ♫ ♪♫♫ and He said “Zacchaeus, you come down for I’m going to your house today…” ♫ ♪♫♫ We need to fill ourselves with the Word of God and with songs, hymns and spiritual songs so that when the world sets itself before us we are not drawn into it but that we would see the LORD in it and be drawn to Him. This song was one of the first Sunday School songs I ever learned, the first one being “Jesus Loves Me.’ As a child and as an adult we can learn and memorize scriptures by singing them. Sometimes we sing scriptures and don’t even realize it. This particular song about Zacchaeus is a fun song about a real person in the bible- a tax collector.
Ha Ha, and guess what, it is tax time. Many people have already filed their taxes. Some have already paid and some have already gotten refunds but some are struggling with getting them in and the IRS (tax people) are calling to them to get it done. People file late, get extensions and just plain get so far behind that they go on a payment plan but didn’t Jesus tell us to render unto Caesar what is his and to God what is His? What is even odder in this tax season is how the world reaches out to people to give their money to this or that more this time of year, why—because the world knows you just might have some extra to spend right now so your extra can pad their pocket or in this case might fatten one up some like this critter who is so fat with excess that he wobbled with great effort across the yard. Would you imagine a tax collector to be a bit chubby from their riches and gain? Would you not imagine a tax collector to be cold hearted taking from others just to warm himself with no care as to how it would affect others? Now as I watched that chubby little groundhog wobble across the yard I could see a tax man, or woman, getting fat on the collections of the people and I could see someone in such a position not wanting to miss out on seeing what the crowds are following so he climbed up in that tree. Zacchaeus probably climbed up there at first to see what he might be able to get from this man Jesus, this crowd pleaser, but as he looked on and saw Jesus-something happened—the inner man took on a change… The groundhog was feasting and looking around at what else he might feast on when he suddenly saw me… his focus changed… Zacchaeus had an attitude that went from what he could get to what could he give… could it be that before he could take something from Jesus, Jesus gave him something… a place of honor in His life... A place of honor you ask… yes, Jesus was coming to His house, Zacchaeus was important enough to have Jesus invite Himself over to his house… wow! Most everyone else had bad thoughts about this man Zacchaeus, this wee little man-- but suddenly there was change… and it can happen to anyone… to them… to you… Can you see how a life picture/happening or a set of words can spread to more and more IF we know the Bible?
Oh, I cannot give you scripture and verse for everything I say but I know what is in there and I sense the Holy Spirit nudging me to share this particular combination of things happening that stirred that old childhood song in my mind and I started singing it… ♫ ♪♫♫ Zacchaeus was a wee little man ~~ A wee little man was he ♫ ♪♫♫ ♫ ♪♫♫ He climbed up in a sycamore tree ~~ For the LORD he wanted to see ♫ ♪♫♫ ♫ ♪♫♫and when the Savior passed his way~~He looked up in that tree ♫ ♪♫♫ ♫ ♪♫♫ and He said “Zacchaeus, you come down for I’m going to your house today…” ♫ ♪♫♫ O LORD if we are the wee little man or woman today that needs a Savior to pass by, help us climb up to see and find that place of honor with Him… in Jesus Name, amen Printed with permission ©Angel Fulkerson Let’s Not Just Take Prayer Requests… Let’s Pray Immediately… Let's reveal to the world we love God by loving others thru prayer! I AM the MASTER BUILDER: BY KERRY KINSELA/ ADDED BY KENNETH WHITE I AM the MASTER BUILDER
Today as I rested with you Lord, you taught me. You said, there are many castles, I said yes there are. You asked me, which ones are built solidly? I said the ones that are Built out of rock, you said but rock can crumble and be soft, sandstone Came to my mind, then I said hard rock, and I immediately thought of Granite. You said there are many Owner Builders but I am the Master builder. I will put you were I want you, and then you lifted me onto your shoulders where I held on to your head, from where I was I sitting on your foot holding onto you leg. You then placed me on to a ledge, water flowed out of my feet an over the ledge, It was a water fall it was crystal clear, I want to jumped in to the river that flowed from my feet and swim with it, and I did. Today as I ponder upon this vision and conversation with you I started to understand more. I know that impartations are not what we think, as you have shown me a process that we need to go through. If we impart to other our giftings how do we know they are ready for it and it is what God requires them to have for the purposes he has created for them at that particular time.
And can we impart our gifting to ours or is it a matter of stirring up the giftings that you Father have all ready place in a person as in 2 Tim 1:6 by the laying on of hands. Is imparting gifts to others something owner builders do? And if so, what are we really doing? We don’t know sometimes what we are doing, and that is why we have owner builders diving into the murky water of the physical and the soul realm and why we have the Master Builder (Jesus) and the clear crystal water of the Holy Spirit. I believe you are saying to me to stir our spirit and gift (intimacy which is faith, hope, love, and obedience and trust all put in under the one incredible gift of intimacy) of our inner man, and to love, trust and hope and obey you, so you can build our houses or castles, for we can try to follow a procedure in the physical and it will only be physical using the spiritual for works as Paul say in Gal 3, and flesh can not be made perfect only the new spirit build man that you our Master is building. The river that flows out of us when you have finial finished or near completed the building you are making in us, (meaning, near complete when we still live in a physical body but we are living in the new spiritual man, that is build by you, or completed when we are no longer in a physical body but spiritual body also built by you (our Physical body in the physical grave)) and we have a measure of a fullness of your glory, which flows out of us with the holy spirit, and is this also the new wine in the new wine skin that is also talked about? Lord you will put us in the body of Christ to do what you want us to do, for the purpose of other. And it is as Paul talks about only when we have moved into this new spiritual body were we were crucified with you Lord, but we still live in a physical body, that is no longer me that lives but you who now lives in me, in the - new spirit man. Gal 4:6 because you are Sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into you hearts, crying Abba Father, I feel I am saying back to you when I jumped into the river of your Glory, it doesn’t matter where you put me, I only to want to serve you my -2Master, I just want to always swim in your Glory (presents) and be in you. You have put it in our hearts to desire to become closer and closer to you for ever.
We pay a price to have the Master Builder build our house; the owner builder does it on the cheap with flaws in his house. You get what you pay for, an original or an inferior copy; we have a choice to seek after the deeper things of you Lord, to pay the price for it as we desire it above what we want. Or we can go after the passions and giftings that call out to us, like starting a church or a ministry and do something for YOU, God. We then get frustrated and throw it in, on many occasions as doing something for God is all to hard. We can do nothing for you Lord, the castles or houses that are built by owner builders don’t function and fore-fill their real purpose unfortunately, they create more owner builds that fall into a similar fate. You allow them to succeed for a season or a time, bearing some fruit. The Master Builder, has a far greater purpose, to create the most beautiful building with it own beauty, its own architecture but with a character that reflects its designer and Master Builder. This building will last for ever and ever as it is built with a rock that is purified by fire and all impurities are removed. Look at the Ankor Wat built of Sand stone and then look at the Taj Mahal that is built of Marble not Granite (Marble is soft than Granite)... The wear on the Ankor Wat is not good and it is crumbling in parts and some areas have had to be restored due to weather and the way it is build. The Taj is beautiful it looks like it was built yesterday not centuries ago. The price for something that will last for ever and to be built by a Master at his craft is worth anything to put yourself in his hands and to trust his passion for you. Lord, you say to me “I trust you, but do you really really trust me”? I say Yes, Lord you are the only one I trust, there is none like you, which has the love to see a finished product in it splendour and beauty. I sat out side the Taj Mahal at sunrise with tears running down my eye that a man would go to so much trouble to build a beautiful place for the woman he loves. Now I sit hear with tears as I think, you are doing the same thing for the ones you love but in a far greater way, this is spiritual and not Physical, a castle for those that will allow you to build it, it is a far great beauty and splendour that will be around for ever, while all other things have faded away. I know when you have finished the castle you are building in us, then I can be used for your purposes as we will reflect only you and the new creation that we have become in you. Wow, what can you do though us then, to be purpose built were I can contain you in me with all of you splendour and to walk in you and you in me in fullness (glory), knowing nothing can touch me.
I will dwell in solid fortress that will stand solid, living in the new creation of the spirit of God, This is my destiny in you, for I am nothing but what I am in you, don’t let any thing hold me back as my spirit yearns for this a time to come, not far away now. To believe, to know who we are in you is a gift, which is far above anything I know. To Love in the spirit of you my God is full of all your fruit, and is to have a fullness (glory) of you in my life. I am starting to understand the LOVE you talk about. Although I have been walking in it for a while I have not full grasped the insight of what is require that - 3 - can bring us into a fullness of your love(Eph3:17,18 and 19). Love others as I have loved you, Love you neighbour as yourself. This is almost a double wami as it can only be done when you surrender all that you are and allow the Master to build you Eph3:13,14, 17 & 4:13. Knowing we cannot sustain a Love like this unless it is from you. We have to be lead in the spirit and then walk in the spirit and grow in the fruits of the spirit, where we begin to live in the spirit and walk in the spirit of the new inner man you are creating in us. There is a start of walking in your love and that is to make a decision that you will love others no matter what they do to you. It then requires you to HELP! Us from there, as we can not do it in the physical, we have to die to our selves and our will.
The Eye of the Lord ~ ADDED BY SUSAN C. CLARK
I hear the Lord saying, "My eyes are open to you and the eye of the Lord is looking intently for those who will step out in extravagant faith to see with My eyes, to see from My point of view, to see beyond the current circumstances and to see with the eye of the Lord into the future of what I have for you. Yes, today I am calling you to a higher place of embrace with Me. To fill you, to love you, to encourage you, to uphold you. My eyes are like fountains and springs of living waters for you to drink from. Gaze into My heart, look into My eyes and receive the refreshing of the Lord I have prepared for you this day," says the Lord. When the Scripture speaks of the "eye of the Lord" or "the eyes of the Lord," it can often mean that God has His attention on something or that He is wanting us to give attention to something that is on His heart and to view it from His perspective for a certain time and a certain season. Just as the natural eye knows how to auto-focus on the thing that it is viewing, it also has the power to zoom into details that reveals deeper information and revelation to the mind and its perceptive powers. In that auto-focus moment, God draws us to Himself and our attention is turned from whatever we are doing at that time. It is the power of revelation released from the heart of God as He causes our inner lenses to refocus on Him for worship, to save us from danger, to readjust our footsteps or to just love on us and encourage our hearts with a different or fresh perspective, especially in a time of turmoil and uncertainty.
Mirrors of the Soul The eyes are the literal mirrors of a person's soul and reveals much about a person's deep inner man. Matthew 6:22 says, "The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light." In that deep place of the heart, the eye of the body that is full of light, can also reveal secrets into the unseen realm depending upon a person's intimate connection or transparency with God. Our eyes are portals of Heaven that we many times overlook within ourselves and within others. When we look at a person straight into their eyes, what do we see? Is our vision blocked by our own misperception or do we really see what God wants us to see? The Lord is saying, "I have created you in My image and in My likeness. My eyes are your eyes if you will allow Me to deliver you from those things that would hinder your eyesight. You have not lost your way because I know exactly where you are. You can never hide from Me and I know how to reach you in the split of a second. Look at My reflection and My light will fill your soul with new life and hope. The clouds of discouragement will disappear and you will know My favor and mercy once again," says the Lord. The Face of an Angel In the case of Steven in the New Testament, he was a man who was full of faith and of the Holy Spirit (Acts 6:5). He was so full of grace and power that he performed great wonders and signs among the people during his day (Acts 6:8). In the synagogue of the Libertines, Cyrenians, Alexandrians and them of Cilicia and of Asia, they disputed with Stephen because of their own stubborn misperception and blindness of spiritual sight (Acts 6:9) Stephen preached with boldness and they were not able to resist the wisdom and spirit by which he spoke (Acts 6:10). Even to the point of death, he had no fear to speak God's truth because his "eye" saw something beyond this natural world. All that sat in the council, looking steadfastly and intently at him, saw his face and countenance "as it had been the face of an angel" (Acts 6:15). Seeing that Stephen was "full of the Holy Spirit‌ he gazed intently into Heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God," saying, 'Behold, I see the Heavens opened up and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God'" (Acts 7:55-56). Stephen's eyes and spiritual perception were literally in another world.
So much so, that he did not see or feel the pain of rejection and physical pain of the stones that would eventually kill him. His immediate reality was that he saw the Heavens open at that moment and He saw Jesus! A Lifestyle of Gazing When Stephen "gazed" (NAS) or "looked up steadfastly" (KJV) into Heaven, the Greek definition and meaning of this was not only that he fixed his "eyes" but also purposed his "mind" into Heaven. The eyes of his mind and the eyes of his heart went into auto-focus by the power of the Holy Spirit, as in the sense of stretching his eye sight towards the face of God that gave him the supernatural power to endure the kind of death he was about to experience. This reveals that Stephen had a "lifestyle of gazing" into the eyes and heart of God and is the reason why he was so filled with the glory of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. He gave himself over to locking his eyesight on the Lord Jesus Christ, and it caused everything else to either become dim or disappear in his perception of reality. He was so overtaken by the Holy Spirit that the unseen realm at that moment was more real to him than the seen realm of the excruciating pain of being stoned to death. In these last days we are going to need this kind of supernatural strength and power to be able to endure the days ahead of us with a lifestyle of gazing. The Lord is saying, "Lock your eyes on Me and I will lead your faith and your focus to walk in the way you should go and to war in the way you should war. The times will become unbearable for those who don't have their vision locked upon Me," says the Lord, "but it shall not be unbearable for you if you stay steadfast and look steadfastly into Heaven where I am. This is the time to be filled. This is the time to be focused. This is the time I will preserve you from every danger and every harm. You will escape the traps of the enemy if you continue to fix your gaze upon Me and fix it now." God's Providential Care "God's eye" or "God's eyes" is many times symbolic of God's providential care. He is always guiding us with His eye and gives us counsel while constantly being watchful over us wherever we go.
He is very aware of our daily activities, our circumstances, what we set our minds to do, and all He asks us to do is to include Him in our plans and commit our plans to Him so that He can cause them to succeed and bring us breakthrough and deliverance in our time of need. Proverbs 16:3 says to, "Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed." The word "thoughts" in the Greek speaks of your intentions, inventions, calculations of the mind and your imaginations. The power of your imagination includes the ability to see with insight and foresight. "Insight" is the ability to apprehend the true nature of a thing, especially through intuitive understanding or penetrating mental vision or discernment; the faculty of seeing into inner character or underlying truth. "Foresight" is the ability and power of prevision or knowledge gained by or as by looking forward; a view of the future. Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]--blessed (happy, fortunate, and enviable) is he." If our vision is blocked or distorted, we lack not only the ability to see and perceive with the intelligence, but we also miss out on seeing God in the ecstatic state of worship. Our very spirits were meant to live in a place of ecstasy with God forever in that heavenly place. And because of the fall of man, we have to regain that access through appropriating the Blood of Jesus to our lives by renewing our minds in alignment with the mind of Christ. When our minds are aligned, we see what God sees. We see clearly. We see through God's eyes and we see His providential care and our hope is restored for the future. Disqualified by Blindness In the Old Testament an eye defect disqualified a person for priestly service (Leviticus 21:18-21). There was also the practice of an exceptionally cruel punishment to gouge out the eyes of an enemy (Judges 16:21; 2 Kings 25:7). This kind of punishment was interpreted and perceived as bringing disgrace and reproach to a people (1 Samuel 11:2). Today, in the new millennium, the tricks and schemes of the enemy are still the same. It just comes in different packaging.
The enemy continues to try to bring disgrace and discredit the people of God through spiritual blindness – blindness that is caused by the lack of looking and gazing into the face of God as a regular exercise of intimate worship or the lack of gazing into the Scriptures to find food for the soul and nourishment for the spiritual eyes. Psalm 19:8 says, "The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes." Here we see there is ecstasy of the heart and pure brilliance of the eyes that gives full light to the body, soul and spirit of a person that keeps the statutes of the Lord before his eyes on a continual basis. But because of life's distractions, sin and selfrighteous pride, this was one of the stumbling blocks of the Pharisees that prevented them from seeing that Jesus was really who He said He was, God. Because they couldn't see, they couldn't believe. If they couldn't see, they had no vision and they missed out on entering into the Kingdom of God. We can be disqualified by the blindness of our hearts if we continually push away the grace and the kindness of the Lord. The Eye of the Lord is Moving So now the Lord is reminding us in 2 Chronicles 16:9 which says, "For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His." God is on the move, running and eagerly searching with the laser beam of His eyes, looking for those who are filled with His light to see that He is ready to strongly support those whose eye lenses of the heart and mind are turned completely towards Him. He is inviting us into the journey of His heart – into the journey of the unseen realm. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). No one has seen God at any time (John 1:18), yet Jesus tells us in the beatitudes that the pure in heart will see God (Matthew 5:8). When the Bible says to "see" God, it means to look at, behold and to allow one's self to be seen; to appear. It is in the sense that God is revealing Himself to us and at the same time we are willingly revealing ourselves to God. This is where we find ourselves in a place of openness and receptivity, and then at that point in time, God will impart vision and impregnate us with new life and new vision.
This is how we get to know Him, to see with the eyes, to see with the mind, to perceive and to become acquainted with Him by daily experiencing Him and to take heed and believe in our hearts what He is saying to us. If God is wanting us to look and gaze intently at Him, isn't it because He is looking and gazing intently at us? The eyes of God reveal intimacy and longing and a strong desire to be with us now and forevermore. God is longing for those who are longing for Him. If you are experiencing an indescribable longing in your heart toward God, that means He is drawing you. It's not depression and you're not crazy. God is really drawing you to Him. He promises the pure in heart will see Him and the hungry of heart will be filled with the treasures of His love. If He is drawing you, it is because there is more to see, more to perceive, more to experience, more to learn and more to be transformed by. This is an invitation, not only to open our eyes but to journey into the depths of God's heart with new penetrating vision, where He writes the words of His heart upon your heart. There is a new perspective and a new anticipation that is arising and being imparted in this season of new birth, and He is ready and waiting to meet you where you are, right here, right now! Prayer of Restoration of Vision God, thank You for saving my life and thank You for restoring my soul. God, open my eyes to see You like never before. Help me to see and perceive through Your eyes. Restore my vision that may have become dull or blinded through discouragement, circumstances, sin, hardship or even neglect. Forgive me for not responding to Your voice when You are calling me. Help me to draw near to You. Draw me, God, and I will run to You. Open the eyes of my heart, God, that I may see You face to face. I will not be afraid to approach You because Your perfect love casts out all fear and I will come boldly to Your throne to worship You in Spirit and in truth and to love You sincerely with all my heart, mind, soul and strength. I do believe, Lord. Help my unbelief. I thank You for hearing my prayer and my heart's cry to be closer to You. I give You honor and glory and praise this day, in Jesus name I pray, Amen! Love in Christ to all God's People! Be blessed! Be encouraged! He loves you! Reeni Mederos Founder of Warriors International, Inc.Email: info@warriorsinternational.com
READY FOR THE LORD’S RETURN
We are living in a day and age where most believers and unbelievers alike are content with the way they are living. Some talk about the Lord’s return as if it can be any minute, yet go about their lives as if he is not coming for another hundred years or even in their life time. Souls that know not Jesus are won to Christ and are told that they need to witness to the lost, so that they will know Jesus Christ also. There is nothing wrong with giving your testimony of how the Lord saved you, but getting souls save is just a part of living for God and knowing what He is all about. As new born babes in Christ it is our duty to learn what God is all about, so that we may be able to tell others, why Jesus died for our sins and the purpose of His coming. The fact that through the blood of Jesus we can receive redemption and have eternal life is a wondrous gift of God. Coming to know the Lord and His word is even a greater gift. From the creation of Adam to our day God has had a plan, and a work the he is doing with man, and it has not changed. He gave Adam dominion over the earth and He will have a kingdom here on earth as he has in heaven that will be made up of believer that has been born again, enabling them to see and enter in to His kingdom. (Jn. 3:3; 5)
Are we as believers preparing for our Lord’s return? Peter said, that God would send Jesus back to earth when the times of restitution of all things were complete and yet we have heard preachers say that Jesus may and can come before morning. (Acts 3:21) If Jesus can come any minute now and we do not know the time of his arrival, what then is to be restored in order for him to come at any time or has been? We can look at the evidence around us and see that Jesus has not come and the restitution has not happened or He would be here as Peter said.
Yet if we look the way the world is today, and the fact that Jesus is not here yet, then there is something that has not been restored. Believers and sinners alike go about their lives, living day to day for their future in this present world, not really believing that Jesus is coming soon, or what has to be restored, and prepared in order for him to come back.
There is a misconception the we will be supernaturally taken away from any trouble that is coming to the world and the “quote” mark of the beast, and it has mislead believers into setting back in there comfortable churches and looking up to the heaven for the clouds to burst open and a bright light to shine forth, with Jesus on a white horse bounding down to earth in glorious victory. Paul said, this would not happen until there be a falling away first, and that man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition. (2Th 2:3) Is
there anyone out there who can tell us who he is or what has falling away? The belief is that Jesus can come back any moment is preached in many churches today, but have you asked your preacher to tell you who the son of perdition is? He was revealed in Jesus day when Satan entered into Judas and betrayed him, so why does Paul say before the day of the Lord the son of perdition would have to be revealed again, because Judas didn’t fulfill all that the son of perdition was to fulfill, like John the Baptist didn’t fulfill all that was written of Elijah. The restoration of all things has to occur and only then will Jesus come back. (Mt. 17:11) After Judah had been in captivity for seventy years, this was their punishment for not keeping the seventh year Sabbath for four hundred and forty nine years. God caused His spirit to move on Cyrus the King of Persia, called His anointed in Isa. 45:1, to build his temple and city again. (Ezra1:1-2) Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. (Dan.9:25) Here we have the city of God Jerusalem, the church in the New Testament that is one of the things that will be restored before Jesus come back and there will be a time of trouble all around when it is rebuilt. Cyrus sent a remnant Jews to accomplish this task and when they got there to build the temple and restore the walls of the city.
The inhabitants that occupied the land during the captivity of Judah weren’t very happy about it. They conspired all of them to go and fight against Jerusalem and hinder the work. But remnant saw the enemy, they began to pray both night and day, the work that lay ahead of them seem great to those that were about clearing the rubble and decay that had been sitting for over seventy years, it seemed impossible natural eyes. And with their enemy all around them they built with a tool in one hand and a sword in the other, until the temple and the wall were complete with trouble all around them. (Ne. 1:11) The doctrine that is taught today, that we will miss all the trouble and tribulation and be caught up to meet the Lord in the air when he comes back does not coincide with the prophecy that God reveals in Nehemiah. Paul tells us that tribulation and anguish shall happen to the Jews first and also to the Gentiles. (Ro. 2:9) How then are we to miss tribulation if it has to occur? Many believe that we will rule and reign with Jesus, but this doctrine leaves no room for those that suffer with Him shall also reign with Him. (2Tim.2:12) And that if we deny the Lord he will deny us. If the early church receive glory and honor, then had to go through persecution and even suffer unto death, why would God allow us down on this end of the age to miss any trouble or tribulation. The same scripture that is used to show that we are to be caught up, also says that there will be those that are alive and remain, that sounds like a remnant to me. It is not in man’s nature to want his body to be harmed or hurt in anyway, and we will do almost anything to keep from have pain. The hospitals are full and prescription drugs are used to alleviate any pain we as humans might have. It is not a sin to see a doctor or to try to fix something that is broken or hurt. But even Satan when he was allowed to take all that Job had to prove him, went back to God and said, “Skin for skin, yea all that a man hath will he give for his life.” (Job 2:4)
Man is no different today, Jesus told his disciples in explaining the parable of the sower, and the seed that fell on stony grown, that it had no root in itself, but only last for a little while, because there was no water, and when tribulation and affliction came because of the word of God, the seed, they were offended because they were not rooted in God’s word. (Mt. 13: 16-17) If the church the temple is to be rebuilt in troublous time, and we have not root in ourselves we will be deceived when the dragon issues the flood of his persecution out of his mouth. He will look like he is doing the world a favor with his economics doctrine, and many well be fooled into taking his mark in order to save their very lives. But God’s word will prevail; those that are rooted and grounded will be alive and remain through all that comes out of the dragon. Jesus said, that there would arise false Christ, and false prophet, and they would show signs and wonder; so great the if it were possible, that they would deceive the every elect. (Mt. 24: 24) The key word here is if it were possible, not that could either mean it is possible or it is not possible, because the very elect, like Aaron and his sons were elected out of all of Israel to be the priests of the Lord, the apostle and prophets should have enough of the word of God to know better when this deception is to take place and those who will not listen to God’s holy apostles and prophets will be deceived and go through the flood of the dragon. They will either take the mark or be killed, because they would not hear and reject the manifold wisdom of God. (Eph. 3:10) God is sending out a warning in these last days to all the believers to hear His word, to confirm the souls of the disciple, exhorting them to continue in the faith that we must through tribulation enter the Kingdom of God. (Acts 14:22) For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. (1 Peter 4:17-19) Where are those believer that Jesus said would be hated of all men for his sake, and those that will endure to the end? If we are to miss all the trouble that is to come, why would he say, “but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” (Mt. 10: 22) We are living it the time that Jesus called the harvest in Mt 13. Not a harvest of souls as many believe but a harvest of believers, that have the seed of the word of God planted in them. The enemy planted tare alongside the true believers and that is what we see today. Since 1962 God has been gathering the tares into bundles to be burned that is why you see all these maga church and TV preachers with large crowds. They will be burned, as Paul said,” Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.” (1Cor. 3:13-15) Jesus will come at the appointed time when all things are restored, His house will be established on the tops of the mountains, and all nations shall flow unto it. (Isa.2:1-4, Dan. 8:19) It is revealed in the precept of the harvest of weeks and the year of Jubilee, each containing a period of seven weeks and years, ending in the fiftieth day and year. This will finish the work at the end of the world and the work of God, when those at are gathered into God’s barn and the door is shut. The other sheep which were not of the Jews fold, will be brought in, and they will hear the voice that will make the cry, behold the bridegroom cometh go ye out to meet Him. The will be one fold and one shepherd, which we do not see today. (John10:16, Mt. 25:6)
You may say that Jesus is the shepherd, when he was here he was the shepherd, now he is our High Priest sitting at the right hand of God. He has taken a far journey, and left his house and gave authority to his servants and to every many his work and commanded the porter to watch. (Mr. 13:34) We can see that Jesus did just that before he left on his journey, he placed in Peter’s hands the work and told him to feed his sheep. (John 21:16) When Peter’s work was finished as shepherd, God had James the Lord’s brother over the sheep, we can clearly see this from the counsel in Acts 15. James gave his sentence after all the discussion was may and he made his ruling on the Gentile sheep. God has not changed, Paul tells us to remember and obey them that have the rule over you for they watch for your soul. For Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Heb.13:7,8,17) He was talking about Moses’ day (yesterday), James’ day (today) and our day (forever). One of the things that we will have before Jesus can come back is a shepherd over God’s flock that will gather them into one fold and give them meat in due season, because God never changes. This servant will be faithful and wise, and over the house when Jesus comes back. (Mt. 24:25, Lu. 12:42) He will appoint the times, and have all things restored and in order for Jesus. (Mal. 3:1-6) Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years. When all this is finished, then will Jesus come here for judgment and rule and reign in righteousness for a thousand year. Will you be able to stand in that day? I pray you will and be alive and remain when he comes. Watch ye therefore, with your eyes open and not shut, for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Mt. 24:44)
GRACE Part 1 THE GRACE OF GOD
Dr Wole Gbogboade The word grace simply means unmerited or undeserved favour. Salvation is an expression of God’s favour to man. By the sin of Adam and Eve, man born of a woman has been living in sin and death. But, Jesus, who had no sin became sin as a sacrifice to redeem man from bondage of sin and death which serves as wages of sin. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” Rom. 6:23 “God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God” II Cor. 5:21 Jesus became the one and only sacrificial lamb for the permanent atonement of sin so that man who carries Adam’s sinful nature might become righteous before God. Heb. 9:22
In other words, grace is personified in Christ offering Himself in obedience to the Father, as a gift of God to man so that we may not only receive pardon for our sin but, have right standing before God as well as live the of God here on earth. The grace of God brought life to man who has been condemned to death by reason of his sin. Instead of condemnation, man now receives acceptance. Instead of shame, we receive fame. Instead, of a place in hell fire, we are heaven bound. Instead of death, grace brought eternal life in Christ to the redeemed man. MANIFESTATION OF GRACE Luke 23:32- 34, 39-43 Vs 32-34 Jesus was hung on the tree like a common criminal, though a sinless person. Rather than cursing man for injustice, he took the shame and punishment. Then He asked the Father to forgive them for they know not what they do. If He did not intercede no man would have been saved! Vs 39- 43 A criminal that deserves to die called on Jesus. See what happened; Jesus told him that his sin has been forgiven and he was with Jesus in paradise the same night. Just like that! A common criminal became a Saint the moment he accepted Jesus as Saviour and Lord. “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” Rom. 10:13. Jesus made Himself a supreme sacrifice for our redemption to demonstrate God’s love for man. Eph 5:1-2 Saul of Tarsus was a sinner who specialized in persecuting Christians. The grace of God caught up with him on his way to Damascus to hound Christians into prison for which he had even received warrant of arrest. But the Lord arrested the arrester and he received grace to become an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. I Tim. 1:12 Noah received grace which saved him and his family from perishing in the flood. Gen. 6:8, 8:1-7.The same flood in which a whole generation was destroyed carried Noah’s ark safely! What a wonderful grace!!
A Jailor who would have died by committing suicide was saved with his entire household. Acts 16:27-34 Jephthah was an outcast in Israel because he was a son of a harlot. But the grace of God upon his life made him to lead Israel . Mephibosheth was the crippled grandson of Saul, David’s archenemy. He was living in Lodibar meaning wasteland. He lived in desolation i.e. forgotten and hopeless. But, the race of God changed his destiny and he started to eat with King David on the same table. II Sam.9:1-10. The grace of God upon a believer’s life brings transformation from the curse of the law to blessings of Abraham Gal. 3:13- 14. Instead of poverty, we possess riches II Cor. 8:9. The riches of Christ is not only material, it even first of spiritual then physical and financial, (spirit, soul and body) 1Thess 5:23. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. 2Cor.13:14. Word of Salvation Publication PO Box 7572, Ikeja (100001), Lagos. GRACE Part 2 GRACE and TRUTH
Dr Wole Gbogboade “The word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of GRACE and TRUTH. For the law was given by Moses; GRACE and TRUTH came through Jesus Christ. John1:14 & 17.” It is true that grace means unmerited favour just as we see in the first part of this teaching. Yet, grace and truth came together! And, they always work together for effectiveness. After that we have received salvation from the Lord, to abide in faith and in Him, we need as of necessity, to know that TRUTH has to be given it’s deserved place in our life. Jesus Himself said, He is the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. John 14:6 It means as grace brings us to the WAY, TRUTHwill keep us in the WAY and we will have LIFE!
Jesus is the TRUTH and the WORD of GOD. Once we are saved by grace; for grace to continue to operate in our lives, we have to walk in the Truth III John 3-4.This is the only way prosperity (spirit, soul and body) can come to a Believer III John 2. Jesus said, you will know the truth and the Truth will set you free. Jno.8:32. The key is in verse 31: The Truth we know in the Word of God enlightens our heart as we apply it into our lives. Consequently, the truth known and applied by faith breaks us free from satanic bondage as well as affliction, oppression and other demonic entanglement or yoke that came with it. And as we continue to walk in the light of the truth (Ps.119: 105) our lives continue to attract kingdom blessings, power, wisdom and prosperity.
“ Do not let this book of the law depart from our mouth, meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it, then you will be prosperous and successful.” Joshua 1:8 NIV “Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.” John 13:17 Paul said, shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound? He replied, God forbid Rom.6:1.KJV.Though it is true that where sin abide, grace abide much more.Rom.5: 2.NIV.Yet, grace has not given us liberty to sin. Rather, what Paul meant is that, there is no extent of sin that grace is not more powerful to deliver us from. Isaiah said, even if your sin is as scarlet, it shall be white as snow, Isa. 1:18-19. As you tap into the finished work at the cross of Calvary by knowing that Jesus has died for you and risen for your justification; then you confess your sin and ask Him for forgiveness, you shall be saved. From there, the grace of God that brings salvation begins to show you the way of righteous living by walking in kingdom principles and living a life of faith in Christ.
Then you stop practicing sin like an unbeliever whose understanding has been darkened by the god of this world. Instead, you consciously desire and pursue righteous living by the reason of the grace upon your life. You put off your old man now that your mind has been renewed by the truth of God’s word. Eph. 4:20-24 DEMANDS OF GRACE IS HIGHER THAN LAW’S The demand of Grace upon a believer’s life is weightier than that of the law! Jesus said, Moses told you that if a man is caught in adultery, he should be stoned to death. But, I tell you that if a man looks at a woman to lust in his heart, he has already committed adultery. Under law, it takes an act but, under grace, desire of the heart. The law says an eye-for-an-eye but, grace demand that you turn the other side of your cheek when one side is smitten! Law judges negative action but, grace says, let not your good be evil spoken of. Rom.14:16. Grace is not only concerned with our action, even the intent of the heart is weighed. The law breeds legalism (rules and regulations) which leads to bondage. Grace on the other hand breeds freedom or liberty by the spirit. While the law encourages constant atonement, grace emphasize that we should be perfect/blameless.Matt.5:48, 1 Tim. 3:2. That is not to say that under grace there is no room for repentance. If you miss it, there is room for forgiveness as the Holy Spirit convicts you.1Jno.1:9. But, we are expected to live right. Let’s see the power of grace upon the life of Paul: “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength that He considered me faithful, appointing me to His service. Even though, I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy…..” 1 Tim. 1:12-13
The law advocates divorce but, grace encourages forgiveness. While the law permits you to seek divorce; grace bluntly tells you that God hates putting away or separation. The law says, if you kill or commit murder, you will be subject to judgment. But, under grace, if you are grievously angry with your brother, you will be judged. Matt. 5:21-22 Whereas the law emphasizes physical action, grace places more emphasis on intent of the heart and use what you say to judge you. The law is not the problem but, the flesh (sinful nature of man). The Lord Himself said, He has not come to condemn the law but, to fulfill the law. Rom.7: 7 & 21-25 The Lord will help us. God demands that we dedicate everything that we have including ourselves to Him. He is the reason for our living. What are we living for except for Him! May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, abide with us forever. Amen.

GRACE PART 3
WORKINGS OF GRACE IN A BELIEVER’S LIFE Dr Wole Gbogboade Text: Titus 2:11-14(NIV) In the previous teaching, we can see clearly that God’s grace through Christ Jesus has brought us salvation. However, grace still function in the life of a believer. It does not end in life saving. Rather, it continues to operate in our lives. Jesus said, ”By their fruit, you shall know them” Matt. 7:20 The reason Paul left Titus in Crete was to set in order those things wanting Titus 1:5. In other words, he should study and prayerfully work in Crete to ensure that Cretan believers line their life with the word of God and live a life worthy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that was preached to them.
After we get born again, the grace of God still operates in our lives to enable us to conform to the image of the Son of God. It helps us to manifest the kingdom life-pattern, quite different from world passion which operates in the lives of unregenerate people. Titus 2:12-14. Grace teaches us the following among other things: v. 12-13 (1). to say ‘No’ to ungodliness and worldly passions. (2) to live self controlled life: The flesh dictates without grace whereas, the Holy Spirit dictates under grace. (3) To live an upright and godly life in this present age. (4) Keeps us waiting for the blessed hope-the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. When we live our life for God, we manifest as people not only separated to Him but also, eagerly doing good works like Him by touching lives and nations until He comes. v. 14 Our Lord Jesus had offered Himself as a sacrifice for the purpose of redeeming us: 1.
from all wickedness:
2.
To purify for Himself a people that is His very own.
3.
Who are eager to do what is good.
4. Keeps us waiting for the blessed hope- glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Before grace came, we lived for ourselves to please the sinful nature according to the world standard. Grace came that we may live for God and to be fruitful according to the workings of the Holy Spirit. Gal. 5:22-25. Proof of grace increasing abundantly or exceedingly in our lives manifest as we mature in Christ’s stature and engage in good works as well as develop fruit of the Spirit. Gifts of the Spirit help us to demonstrate God’s power as we preach the gospel. While fruit of the Spirit helps us to develop the character of God and exhibit His virtues Eph 5:1-2, II Pet. 1:5-8. This is the ultimate of the workings of God’s grace upon our lives. “So, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.” Rom. 7: 4 Wherever the Spirit of God leads you, the grace of God will keep you. Grace works more in obedience and obedience work righteousness in Believer’s life. In other words, grace abound more and more in righteousness. Psalm 45:7. Justice enhances obedience and righteousness to enable grace abides in Believer’s life. Psalm.45:6-8, John.15: 7-10 Acts 10:38 shows us that the Lord Himself was busy effecting lives, working night and day to serve the Father until the Father called Him home after offering Him as a sacrifice, to die for what He lived for. He obeyed unto death. Phil. 2:1-11.The grace of God enables us to obey promptly without reservation. Since, what is not worth living for, is not worth dying for, Jesus died for what He lived for. What are you living for? If Jesus comes now, will you say you are satisfied with the way you have lived your life? Also, will you say you’re satisfied with the way you’ve served Him? Whatever it is, there is still room for improvement. Only you have to take a decision to go in the positive direction.
5- Serve: Grace enables us to work more than our natural strength can take us. Hear Paul appreciating the Lord’s salvation, call and his own commitment to God’s grace: v. 8- “….and last of all He appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born. v. 9- For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God . v. 10- But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them- yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.” 1 Cor. 15:8-10.
Grace gives us supernatural ability to do the work of God even our own business better than our natural skill can do. 6- Prayer: Just like service, the grace of God enables us to pray beyond natural ability especially in praying the mind of God. It’s by God’s grace that we can receive rhema from God. Even to understand when God speaks by signs, it takes His grace.
7- Forgiveness: It takes the grace of God to forgive others especially when you are deeply hurt, persecuted or wrongly accused in your relationship with them or concerning your faith. 8- Love: When it comes to agape, i.e sacrificial love, it is the grace of God that can make us to love those who despise fully use us. Rom. 15: 1 – 3, 1 Cor. 16:14 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, abide with us forever. Amen. Word of Salvation Publication

The Rich, Money, and Christianity (rev.2) BY : AULONACARA NYASSAE
This Bible Study was developed for the purposes of examining the New Testament teachings about money and wealth as taught by Jesus Christ and His Apostles. We will discuss the motives connected to giving of time and money to the Church and the poor. We will discuss being rich or wealthy as a Christian. In connection to money, we will examine what the Bible says about the “Health, Wealth, and Prosperity Gospel” (alias “Word Of Faith Gospel” or “Name It And Claim It Gospel”). We will examine the New Testament teachings of the “Tithe” verses the Old Testament teachings concerning it. James 2:1-7 (NIV) - “My brothers, as Believers [Christians] in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show favoritism. (2) Suppose a man comes into your meeting [church or home group fellowship] wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. (3) If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, 'Here’s a good seat for you,' but say to the poor man, 'You stand there' or 'Sit on the floor by my feet,' (4) have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts? (5) Listen, my dear brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the Kingdom He promised those who love Him? (6) But you have insulted the poor. IS IT NOT THE RICH WHO ARE EXPLOITING YOU? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? (7) Are they not the ones who are slandering the noble name of Him to whom you belong?”
We might guess there was some preferential accommodation being made for wealthy people in the Early Church. James writes to rebuke this. James understood that wealthy secular people often were the very people who would persecute Christians. They had the means and social influence to bring Christians to court (verse 6). Why is this? People tend toward wanting to protect their wealth and social status from the influence of competing religions, adverse world-views or politics, and other social factors (unfair taxes and similar). A lot of the primitive economy in the ancient Roman empire involved production of small personals idols (Acts 19:24-27). It also involved the marketing of meat (1st Corinthians 10:25-28). It involved other services connected to worship at the temples of false Roman gods (Acts 17:16). Many people became very wealthy through these things. This wealth permitted easy living. So, naturally, many people wanted to protect the “Temple Economy” (as jobs); be it Jewish or Pagan (Gentile). Those with money often had political power and fame. They might disagree with religious beliefs, but still use it in pretense to gain money as fakes; as secular people (1st Timothy 6:5). In short, money often permits easy living and control over the adverse aspects of the social environment. It is often a means to buy protection from various social fears (building costly walls and hiring personal guards). The danger is that money can REPLACE having to live life by using FAITH for daily life decisions, protection, and joy. God said we are to live by Faith, not by sight (2nd Corinthians 5:7). “Living by sight “(control over the things seen in the natural) is what money permits. This is why money is so dangerous and makes it hard to Enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Mark 10:25). Romans 14:23 (NIV) - “.... and everything that does not come from faith is sin.” If we are not careful, then we can become addicted to having lots of money. We may begin to do whatever is required to have it... at the expense of time with family and God; including going into debt. We can become “Workaholics.”
The errant desires for lots of wealth tends to deceive people, blind them, and cause them to sin in great selfishness. This is expressed as over-indulgence in comfort, gluttony, security, fame, and pleasure. The effect of desiring wealth has resulted in some perversions of New Testament teachings about wealth and money by people like TD Jakes, Joel Olsteen, and many other self-appointed ministers from independent churches. Both of these men live in multi-million dollar mansions while Christians are starving to death in Church. They justify this selfish amassing of wealth through misrepresenting the Scriptures; by teaching the heresies of the “Heath Wealth And Prosperity Gospel.” It is one thing to be wealthy in a humble way, but another to suggest it is some sort of “Spiritual Right” in Christ to be wealthy at the expense of other Christians. See 1st Timothy 6:3-5 ~ notice verse 5. Luke 16:13 (NIV) - “No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” If your goal is to get rich or comfortable, then you love money and the world. We must strive to realize we are already rich in Christ (Philippians 4:19 and Ephesians 3:8). We must understand God says we need to be “Content with what we have” (Hebrews 13:5 and 1st Timothy 6:7/8). Some say having lots of money isn't the problem, but the “Love of money” is the problem. While this is true, the fact remains that emotional love need not be present in order for us to demonstrate we “Love money” through our actions! It is highly likely that a Christian with lots of money is ensnared by it and deceived by it; yes, “Loves it.” This is especially true among those teaching other people that being wealthy is acceptable at the expense of helping other poor Christians (see the warning in Matthew 25:44-46). Money is NOT an expression of being rich in Christ. Wealth is NOT necessarily a manifested reward and sign of Christian obedience. Yes, wealth can be a “Blessing” from God, but it doesn't prove His “Favor” is upon such a person. God blesses some people with wealth so they can share Gospel in love even more often.
God doesn't bless some people with wealth so that they can be lazy and comfortable in the world while doing good deeds. Lots of wealth can be a sure sign one is selfish and doesn't understand loving God extends beyond a mere ten-percent tithe. Far too often people use Psalm 20:4 and Psalm 37:4 to justify wealth. Those passages are NOT about such things! Those passages are talking about Heavenly Born desires of the heart for being happy in doing the Will of God as connected to His examples expressed by 2nd Corinthians 8:9/9:9, Acts 9:36, Galatians 2:10, Philippians 4:19, and Ephesians 3:8. Money In General What does money represent? Isn't money what we use to buy goods and services in the world? How often do we make these purchases without first discussing the matter with God? How often are we motivated to spend money according to our own desires rather than that of the Kingdom? As mentioned, money can give us sense of control (as security) from the common problems of the world. That is, money can make it easier to live our lives “By sight” of human cognition rather than “By Faith.” 2nd Corinthians 5:7 (NIV) - “We live by faith, not by sight.” Romans 14:23 (NIV) “... everything [actions and decisions] that does not come from faith is sin.” It is said money is about power to control. In the ways of the world? This is true. But in the Way of the Kingdom? This is NOT true. We are primarily citizens of the Kingdom... above all else (Ephesians 2:19, Hebrews 13:14, Philippians 3:20, 1st Peter 2:11). Our (His) money is for BLESSING others. Wealth should always be for Kingdom use. 2nd Corinthians 5:20 (KJV) - “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ...” Who sends the ambassadors? John 20:21 (NIV) - "Again Jesus said, 'Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.'"
The Kingdom Let us go down a short rabbit trail about the Kingdom. From where are ambassadors sent? What is the Kingdom? Who is the Kingdom? Colossians 1:13 (NIV) - "For He [God] has rescued us from the dominion of darkness [the world; see James 4:4 and 1st John 2:15/16] and brought us into the Kingdom of the Son He Loves." John 18:36 (NIV) - "Jesus said, 'My Kingdom is not of this world. If it were, My servants would fight to prevent My arrest by the Jews. But now My Kingdom is from another place.'" [His Father in Heaven] Luke 17:21 (NIV) - "Nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the Kingdom of God is within you'” [or in your midst in some other Bible translations]. The Kingdom is NOT a physical existence in a worldly sense. It is entirely spiritual. It is WITHIN us IF we have received JESUS into our heart (John 3:3-8). In the Lord's Prayer, Jesus says: “On Earth as it is in Heaven.” This is spiritual in terms of principles, behavior, ethics, causality, and morality. That is, Christian people on earth should be converting more and more to living CORRECTLY in the WAY of Jesus Christ; according to His Will, not according to the desires of the world (James 4:4, 1st John 2:15/16, 1st John 5:4, and Ephesians 2:2). 2nd Corinthians 13:5 (NIV) - "... Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you?" Jesus is the Kingdom. Collectively we are His Holy Temple; the Temple of God, because the Spirit of Jesus is in each Christian (Acts 16:7 and Philippians 1:19). Each of us is also an individual Temple to the Holy Spirit of Jesus (1st Corinthians 6:19).
Ephesians 2:19-22 (NIV) - “Consequently, you [Gentiles, non-Jews] are no longer foreigners and aliens [to the Kingdom], but fellow citizens with God’s People [Jews, see Ephesians 2:15 and Romans 2:28/29] and members of God’s Household [Kingdom], (20) built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets; with Christ Jesus Himself as the Chief Cornerstone. (21) In Him the whole Building is joined together and rises to become a Holy Temple in the Lord. (22) And in Him you, too, are being built Together to become a Dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.” 1st Corinthians 12:27 (NIV) - “Now you [Christians] are the Body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of It.” The whole of Christianity is the Body of Christ, the Holy Temple of the Lord. We collectively are all each in Christ; in His Body [Church]. He is the Kingdom from where we are sent to tell others (the “Lost” and “Dead”) about His Gospel. We are His “Ambassadors.” What we do with money must be related to the Kingdom! If not, then our motives are divided! Luke 16:13 (NIV) - “... You cannot serve both God and money.” Matt 12:30 (NIV) - “He who is not with Me [Jesus] is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters” [has no fellowship with Jesus, flees into darkness; see Proverbs 14:12]. The Rich Man And Accessing The Kingdom Matthew 19:23 (NIV) - "Then Jesus said to His disciples, 'I tell you the Truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.'" Don't stop reading at verse 23. How HARD is it for a rich man to enter the Kingdom? Matthew 19:24 (NIV) - "Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.” This is an expression for saying the rich man has NO HOPE of entering the Kingdom! We must get this! Why? Because wealth is a STRONG influence through which Satan can subtly deceive the Christian! The early Church understood this concern.
The Early Church Perspective About Amassing Wealth Acts 2:44/45 (NIV) - “All the Believers [Christians] were together and had everything in common. (45) Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.” Now... this is important. We MUST DEFINE what we mean by “RICH.” In Matthew 19:23/24 there is this context to consider: Matthew 19:18-22 (NIV) - “'Which ones?' the man inquired. Jesus replied, ‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, (19) honor your father and mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’ (20) 'All these I have kept,' the young man said. 'What do I still lack?' (21) Jesus answered, 'If you want to be perfect [a true follower of Christ and His teachings], go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven. Then come, FOLLOW Me.' (22) When the young man heard this, HE WENT AWAY SAD, because he had great wealth.” Verse 22 shows us the power wealth has to chain us away from Jesus! Faith is something wealthy people do NOT want to live by.... not when everything in their lives seems so fine and under their control through means of money! The last part of Matthew 19:22 is key. The young rich man was SAD. Why? Because he had great wealth! The rich man was NOT WILLING to PART with his wealth. Why? Because his wealth brought him a sense of security (which is deceptive), where FAITH was NOT NEEDED to live life... yet FAITH tends to be common among poor and hurting Christian people, since they often have no consistent human means for CONTROL (regarding self-security and basic life needs). 1st Timothy 5:5/6 (NIV) - “The widow who is really in need and left all alone puts her hope [as FAITH to TRUST/BELIVE] in God and continues night and day to pray and to ask God for help. But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives!”
Here is the POINT: we are to LIVE BY Faith in TRUSTING GOD for our NEEDS. Spiritual Cause And Effect For Our Provision In Christian Life Matthew 6:25-34 (NKJV) - “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? (26) Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? (27) Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? (28) So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; (29) and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. (30) Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? (31) Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ (32) For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. (33) But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (34) Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” We can errantly use MONEY to escape the need for having to comply with the principles Jesus taught in Matthew 6:25-34! It is easier to live by SIGHT, through money; to gain CONTROL of potentially fearful circumstances... which money often provides. But it can become a trap! The writer of Hebrews reduces the explanation of Matthew to this wonderful wisdom: Hebrews 13:5 (NIV) - “Keep your lives free from the love of money and BE CONTENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE [which is why the 'Health, wealth and prosperity gospel' is worldly; and, therefore, heretical], because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'” 1st Timothy 6:10 (NIV) - "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."
Wow! There is another key phrase: “LOVE OF MONEY.” We are able to conclude that the LOVE of money is the problem which prevented the young RICH man of Matthew 19:23/24 from gaining access to the Kingdom of Heaven! If we LOVE MONEY through our ACTIONS, then we also, of innate consequence, LOVE the WORLD (1st John 2:15/16)! Now, some people will twist this passage to suggest that wealth is acceptable if we don't love it. The passage doesn't say this. You can be RICH, yes, but NOT for the ease of living without FAITH... NOT at the expense of the POOR and HUNGRY! It is a HEART issue (to express Christ-Like Love and Mercy). We MUST judge ourselves carefully (1st Corinthians 11:30-33)! If you are a millionaire, then you got that way by NOT using your wealth or blessings to help grow the Kingdom; to feed and help poor Christians in our Lord's Church! Matthew 25:41-43 is a stiff warning. Repent as you consider the warning in James 5:1-5.
The Tithe Heresies There is another false teaching from the “Health Wealth And Prosperity Gospel” which says that ten percent of our wealth belongs to God while the other ninety percent belongs to us. They imply we can use that other ninety percent anyway we want! WRONG! Vanity is SIN. Multi-million dollar mansions are vanity! It doesn't matter if you give ninety percent of your money to the poor and still have enough left to buy a several multi-million dollar mansions and private jets! That is waste and vanity! We must use all our money, after basic life expenses, for reasons to advance the Kingdom; to show the Love of God. Christianity isn't a ten percent effort! It must be a onehundred percent effort daily... in all things, including money. Remember the story in Mark 12:41-44 about the widow and her two mites [which are like copper pennies]? She gave those to the Temple (which, for the Jews, was representative of the Kingdom). Those two “Mites” were all that she had. She out-performed all the rich people giving their ten percent (so easily afforded). She gave one-hundred percent... and then trusted God for her next meal! Jesus was all over the Pharisees about their pretense. He saw right through it.
Likewise, it is easy to see through the pretense of TD Jakes, Joel Olsteen and similar. The point is that these “Preachers” should KNOW better as a supposedly Spirit-Filled men of God. This "Name And Claim It" Gospel is a false Gospel. While TD Jakes and similar might teach some wonderful truth, please consider the caution Jesus says in Matthew 23:1-3. Please see the history of George Muller for a better witness about how to use money correctly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_M%C3%BCller New Covenant Tithing Remember, we are under the terms of the New Covenant, not the old tenpercent tithe of the Old Covenant. In the New Covenant ALL our money is belongs to God! We MUST grasp this Spiritual Truth. We are just managers of it (Matthew 25:14-30; Parable Of The Talents), be it as His cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) or be it as money ~ to use God's money with proper motives in all things ~ be it as gifts to the Church and/or in our own private evangelism efforts. We are now under a 100% tithe.. that is another way to view this. This is the collective meaning of the messages told to us in Matthew 25:14-30, Acts 2:44, Matthew 19:21, and Acts 4:32-37 (no poor staving Christians existed in the Early Church if we believe Acts 4:34). God, The Poor, And Money There is another aspect to consider. Why is God so concerned about the poor? See Isaiah 58:6-12. Proverbs 16:19 (NLT) - “Better to live humbly with the poor than to share plunder with the proud.” Isaiah 29:19 (NLT) - “The humble will be filled with fresh joy from the Lord. The poor will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.” It seems the poor are more aware of their need for God! Hence: Mark 2:17 (NIV) - “On hearing this, Jesus said to them, 'It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.'”
The self-righteous tend to be those who are deceived by the world and success with money. Sure, there are also poor who are deceived by the world, and are self-righteous. Many poor are also trapped by drugs and other base things of the world. The proud don't generally live their lives by FAITH. They tend to be those who are very worldly... be they the poor or rich, but more so among the successful rich doing things at the expense of the poor. But the truth might be that the poor are easier to convince regarding the Gospel, because they tend to already be broken of pride (ego) and the "Pride of life" (1st John 2:16). Look at how many times God brought Israel and Judah into suffering so that they might find humility, then turn back to the Lord (see Revelation 2:22, Jeremiah 5:3, Hebrews 12:4-14). The proud rich are deluded and trapped by their own self-justifications about their morality and ethics regarding wealth and success with money. They are proud in the ways of the world and self-idealism (often secular idealism). James 2:5 (NKJV) - “Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the POOR of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the Kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?” It does seem God has a special affinity for the poor. We shouldn't pass our responsibility to care for the poor onto any secular government! If you have a million dollar mansion, then consider allowing poor homeless Christians to live in the many spare rooms of your mansion! Then your mansion will have a Kingdom PURPOSE and be JUSTIFIABLE before God as something which isn't vain. If you have a spare room in your two bedroom home? Then consider doing the same! Request a roommate on your church bulletin board or news paper. The excuse, “Oh, I don't like having roommates” is WRONG. “I have fear they might steal from me.” Yes, they might! Trust God and His Love... and stop worrying! He will protect you. His “Perfect Love casts out fear” (1st John 4:18). Wealth And The World There is still another problem with being RICH. If we are RICH, then chances are (not aways) we are doing MUCH WORK in the world to earn that money. Thusly, we are often living as slaves to such work in the world!
Our time is then DIVIDED between the cares of the world and the cares of the Kingdom! Which do you want to serve? We must judge ourselves carefully on this! Do your cigarettes, marriage (1st Corinthians 7:29-34), gym membership, tasty foods, entertainment, nice car, long hours at work, boat, camper, nice clothes, hobbies, nice home, vacations, higher education (in the world), and so forth... well... do these come at the expense of feeding the poor or doing other work in the Kingdom (Isaiah 58:6-12)? We must judge ourselves carefully on these things! 1st Peter 4:17 (KJV) - “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the House of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the Gospel of God?” James 5:1-6 (NIV) - “Now listen, you rich people [often citizens of Westernized “Christan” nations or Islamic “Oil” nations], weep and wail because of the misery that is coming upon you. (2) Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. (3) Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the Last Days. (4) Look! The wages you failed to pay the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. (5) You HAVE LIVES ON THE EARTH IN LUXURY AND SELF-INDULGENCE [see Romans 13:4]! You have fattened yourselves in the Day of Slaughter. (6) You have condemned and murdered innocent men [Christian saints], who were not opposing you.” We MUST judge ourselves carefully! The bottom-line? Luke 18:8 (KJV) - “... when the Son of man cometh, shall He find faith on the earth?” Solomon And Money
As to king Solomon? Does his wealth mean God approves of wealth? Perhaps... perhaps not. We need to understand God was also using wealth to teach Solomon about vanity. God also used his wealth for constructing the Temple. This Providence of God in all things confirms passages like Romans 8:28. The wealth of Solomon doesn't mean God sanctioned Solomon's many sins tied to his wealth. It didn't mean God approved of the sinful means Solomon acquired some of his health. It is interesting to recall king Solomon was born through the sin of David with Bathsheba. David had Bathsheba's God-Fearing husband, “Uriah The Hittite, killed so that David could take Bathsheba for himself ~ God nearly ended David's life because of this great sin. The case can be made that God let Solomon become wealthy so that he could learn the trap of wealth as vanity; how vanity leads to a lot of sin. King Solomon eventually began to worship idols, make many illegal treaties, counted the troops, had illegal marriages, became arrogant, and so on. In old age, king Solomon learned about the sin of vanity. He eventually wrote the best Wisdom of God ever.... Ecclesiastes.... but it took hindsight and a lot of sinful mistakes to learn that lesson... and for him to repent in old age and write those famous words we see in Ecclesiastes 12:13/14. What About Zacchaeus? In Luke 19:2-5, does Jesus reaching out to Zacchaeus show us that Jesus approved of wealth? No. The wealth of Zacchaeus wasn't the point of the passage. The fact Zacchaeus gained his wealth in sinful ways was definitely a factor in those passages. Jesus reach out to Zacchaeus to show that the Mercy of God is available to sinners who might be rich by sinful corrupt means. Jesus reached out to Zacchaeus to show us His Message of the Kingdom was for all people, regardless of their sin... regardless how much they might be hated by society; and Zacchaeus was hated ~ viewed as traitor. This certainly wasn't an effort by Jesus to show His approval of sin connected to money and wealth. God STILL expects us to repent of our sins as best as we can. We also need to recognize Zacchaeus was not yet subject to the terms of the New Covenant. We know Zacchaeus was receptive to the Message of Christ (Luke 19:3).
We can logically suspect that he would do the things the Christians did in Acts 2:42-47. Why? Because he repented and promised to distribute the wealth he had gained (Luke 19:8). Zacchaeus wasn't somebody claiming to be a Church leader like TD Jakes. There is a whopping difference regarding accountability between the lost and those claiming to be Christian leaders. Christians are subject to 1st Peter 4:17, John 7:24, and Matthew 18:15-17 while the lost are not. Make no mistake about it, Jesus DID harshly rebuke the rich... as we see him doing with the Pharisees (who were rich upper-class of Jewish culture). God also rebukes the rich through Apostle James in 5:1-5. The Wealth Of Nicodemus And Joseph Nicodemus and Joseph (John 19:38-42) simply did the right thing... as converts in Christ do. They used their wealth to help others. Nicodemus gave an expensive tomb to our Lord. We do know they had become followers of Christ (John 19:38). The Bible doesn't mention that they were hoarding wealth. They may have obtained these things (the tomb and expensive ointments) as part of their lives before coming into the Way of Jesus. But now they GAVE! We might say they gave “Everything," not just ten percent! It is much like the Widow's two mites: how such was everything she had (Mark 12:42-44) ~ a one-hundred percent "Tithe" from the heart and soul. The Perversion Of “Pressed Down And Running Over” Does Luke 6:38 justify becoming rich when God blesses us with wealth? Is it acceptable to keep wealth which God may “Reward” us when we faithfully serve Him? "Pressed down... and running over" tells us that God gives to His faithful servants (Matthew 6:33). Why? Because they will have more to GIVE AWAY to the Church and poor. Why? Because these faithful servants want to show the True Love of Jesus in advancing His Kingdom. They don't want to waste such wealth upon the sinful vanity of multi-million dollar mansions... and so forth... while poor Christians starve to death in churches around the world.
More About Money Proverbs 17:16 (NIV) - "Of what use is money in the hand of a fool, since he has no desire to get wisdom?" That is, Christians MUST seek the WISDOM of God if we DON'T want to be as fools with our [His] money. Our use of money should be Kingdom related whenever possible. Deuteronomy 23:19 (NIV) - "Do not charge your brother interest, whether on money or food or anything else that may earn interest." Matthew 5:42 (NIV) - "Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you." However, what we do is motived by Kingdom Business with Love and Mercy... we are not to just "Throw Money" at "Problems" (see Matthew 7:6 and Matthew 10:16). Example, we would not want to give money to a drunk asking for money to buy more beer (this actually happen to me the other day: a woman walked in front of my truck, then came up and asked me for money to buy beer). We might only do such a thing as an opportunity to share the Gospel. Psalms 112:5 (NLT) - "Good comes to those who LEND money GENEROUSLY and conduct their business fairly." Psalms 15:5 (NLT) - "Those who lend money without charging interest, and who cannot be bribed to lie about the innocent: such people will stand firm forever." Ecclesiastes 5:10 (NIV) - "Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless." [vanity] This is referring to those with a worldly perspective regarding desires for spending money to become content and satisfied in life. Satisfaction in life can't be bought. It is a gift from Jesus! Ephesians 4:28 (NIV) - "He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands [earn money], that he may have something to share with those in need [the poor]."
1st Thessalonians 4:11/12 (NIV) - [God talking to Christians through Paul] "Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands [earn money], just as we told you, (12) so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will NOT BE DEPENDENT on anybody." 2nd Thessalonians 3:10-12 (NIV) - "For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: 'If a man will not work, he shall not eat.' (11) We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies. (12) Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the bread they eat." We can suspect some Christians were taking advantage of the treasury of the Church. The money of the Church was for the poor, helpless, orphans, widows, and servants doing the Kingdom Work of the Lord (Mark 10:10, 1st Timothy 5:17-18, and 1st Corinthians 9:14). 1st Timothy 6:10 (NIV) - "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs." There is much pain and “Grief” we can cause to come upon ourselves when we are in love with our money... as the comfort and security it can SEEM to provide... the complacency it causes... the distraction to our living REAL Christ-like lives. I suspect we "love money" more than we admit! We must judge ourselves carefully on this! Mark 10:5/7/9 (NIV) - "These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions... (7) As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’ (9) Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts; (10) take no bag for the journey, or extra tunic, or sandals or a staff; for the worker is worth his keep." Jesus commanded they take no money or means for self-defense! Why? So that they could learn to live by FAITH in the FATHER to provide through PROVIDENTIAL circumstances (verse 10) as they DID WHAT? Answer: THE WORK of THE KINGDOM (verse 7)!
Luke 22:35 (RSV) - "And He [Jesus] said to them, 'When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?' They said, 'Nothing.'” Wow! Father God! Forgive us for MISSING IT so badly in our respective walks with your Son! MAY we find strength to move closer into a demanding discipline for LEARNING to LIVE BY FAITH... for the FLESH wants the easy road of living by SIGHT and CONTROL that money often provides. The Spirit is WILLING, the flesh is weak! See Matthew 26:41. Pondering TD Jakes And Others Similar To Him Jesus said, “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” I am currently pondering in my heart about multi-millionaire TJ Jakes living the excessive lavish life at the expense of the starving Christians in his congregation and around the world. [TD Jakes lives in a] "$2.6 million luxurious pink brick, seven-bedroom home with swimming pool in the affluent White Rock Lake area of Dallas... next door to the former mansion of oil tycoon H.L. Hunt." "Jakes now is a multimillionaire who travels in private jets and limos, wears custom-made suits and sports 'a diamond ring the size of a nickel,' the financial paper said Friday in a front-page article titled 'Prophet Motives.' His new 16,000-member Dallas church grossed $20.5 million last year, and his for-profit firm, T.D. Jakes Enterprises Inc., drew $1.8 million. He is worth $150 million." Comment: Jesus NEVER taught us to accumulate wealth at the expense of other starving and poor Christians in the Church. Jesus warns that wealth often is a DISTRACTION. Not aways, but the warning of Matthew 19:24 is CLEAR. So is James 5:1-5. Jesus said we would “Know them by their fruit.” Something is not Biblical about the way TD Jakes is doing his ministry and living his life as a Christian leader. This is not what we see Jesus and His Disciples doing in Scripture. Friends in Christ... please be careful about the false gospel called the "Prosperity Gospel" (also known as "Name It And Claim It" and "Word Of Faith"). Yes, I think TD Jakes is a Christian. He teaches some Biblical truth, but he mixes-in heresy; e.g., Modalism and The Prosperity Gospel.
The “Health Wealth And Prosperity” Gospel is said to be the fast growing heretical movement in Christianity today. This false gospel often includes the “The Seed Principle” and “Dominion Theology” and “Latter Rain.” They're are dangerous heresies! Run from them! See the curse warning in Galatians 1:6-9. http://www.truthablaze.com/prosper.html All my True Love for all is Sealed, Hidden, Found, and Revealed ONLY in Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach) where we all meet for Perfect Koinonia and Sukkot as True Jews (Romans 2:28/29), Tracy http://facebook.com/chippoka http://christianblogs.ning.com/
THE PRAYER THAT GOD HEARS: JOHN GRACE
Many Christians believe that by simply offering words to God, heartfelt or otherwise, that this constitutes valid prayer, and that God will hear and answer that prayer. However, there is a disconnect in our understanding of prayer. If we want to offer prayers that have a vital effectiveness to it [the kind of prayer that God hears and answers] we must comprehend these basic truths, as found in II Chronicles 7:14: "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Let's break down this verse and see what God is saying. 1) "If My people, who are called by My Name.." Firstly, let us understand that for God to hear us when we pray (save for those desperate sinners crying for salvation & a few other rare occurrences), we must belong to Him. We must be His people (blood-bought Christians). God does not hear the vain ramblings of the unrighteous. 2) "..will humble themselves and pray" We must have a spirit of true humility. We must understand who God is, and who we are in respect to Him.
There can be no humility without this understanding. The Apostle James tells us very clearly that God hears the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous. The righteous are those who have humbled themselves to recognize the above truth and have submitted themselves to God's grace and sovereignty, entrusting salvation and indeed, every area of their lives to Him. James tells us also that God "resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble". So, in order to be heard effectively when we pray, we must humble ourselves before God in every area of life. 3) "...and seek My face" We are not to pray randomly, nor with regard to our own desires and wills. We must seek God first, asking Him to reveal to us what we are to pray-for what and in what manner and for how long. Prayer is not a wish-list we give to some "heavenly Santa Claus" to meet all our wants and needs. Prayer ought to be us seeking God how things should be done, and for the purpose of His praise and glory. Thus, to pray effectively the prayer that God hears, we must seek His face. 4) "..and turn from their wicked ways" King David avowed that "if I regard iniquity in my heart, God will not hear me". God Himself testifies this is true through the prophet Isaiah (read:Isaiah 58). The people made a pretense of their piety, crying out to God, giving outward signs of remorse and humility. They declared that they wanted to know God, and His ways, but their lifestyles bore testimony to the contrary. They were wicked, evil, prideful, spiteful, greedy and unloving. They spoke the right words, and performed all the right religious rituals, but their hearts regarded evil and iniquity. Therefore, God refused to answer their prayers. Instead, God gave them the recipe for a true fast. He told them to repent of their evil ways, begin to show mercy, kindness, love and true godliness. THEN, He said the prayers they offered would bear great and lasting fruit.
When the people of God, in true repentance, forsake their evil ways, humble themselves before God and in the presence of others, truly seek His will and plan, then God promises to hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and even heal their land (may the nations take strong note of this truth-are you listening America?!?). This is how we offer up the prayer that God answers. May you heed the truth and pray with great fervency and effectiveness, beloved. Grace and peace to you in the Lord Jesus Christ! ~Brother John Grace~
GOD IS A GOOD GOD! : BY BISHOP DERRICK DAY
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? (Matthew 7:8-11) God is a Good God. Furthermore, He is a Great Father! His Word declares that He gives good things to them that ask Him! God is so good that he clothes His children in robes of righteousness (Isaiah 61:10), gives us everything we need pertaining to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3), and even opens the door that we can ask anything in Jesus name and He will do it (John 15:7)! That’s a shouting moment if you catch it! Unfortunately, there seems to be only a handful of folks that understand this. Religion has so perverted the Word of God to the point where saints of God have erroneously concluded that God is a sadistic, cosmic killjoy that would just as soon smite you with boils and hemorrhoids as bless you. For many, God is a mean-spirited step-father who will use his unlimited power – or worse, the devil – to inflict pain on mankind. Nothing could be farther from the truth!
Time and space do not permit the recall of every scripture to prove this. However, for the purposes of this discussion, I will hang my hat on just one here (and a couple later): The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) Now, in the context of this scripture, you must ask yourself: is sickness, poverty, or oppression part of abundant life? Absolutely not! Do they exist to steal from, kill, or destroy you? Absolutely! Then they must be of the devil. Got it? Good. If not, keep reading… I believe the sinful nature of man leads to either hiding from God or selfflagellation. Both are hallmarks of a religious mindset. I proffer that a renewed mind produces righteous-consciousness instead of sin-consciousness and leads us to run to God when we err instead of running from Him. Jesus said He came to give us abundant life! Abundant life is whole, full, vibrant, and plentiful. Unfortunately many of the Body of Christ didn’t get the memo! Now, Jesus did tell us that we’d have tribulations in this world (John 16:33) but He also said to be of good cheer (be encouraged) because He overcame them. So, if I’m in Christ, I, too, have overcome the world! That’s Good Gospel News! But I’m not done, yet! Jesus said: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:4-7) Notice how the Lord puts emphasis on abiding in Him. And now for the finishing touch:
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2 Corinthians 5:21) Did you catch that? Jesus knew no sin. Therefore there is no sin in him. And if we connect-the-dots, If we are in Christ and there is no sin in Him, you cannot be a sinner! If you are in Christ, you are not a sinner! You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! Period! End of discussion! This is a revelation that will set you free. Sin has no hold on you because of the Blood of Jesus. And religion no longer encumbers you because you know the truth! Abba Father (Daddy God) loves you. He wants to embrace you in Christ. He wants the best for you! And He has a plan for you. The devil and his earthly agent, religion, can’t do anything to stop it! Now go tell someone! Glory to God! © 2012 – Derrick Day (www.derrickday.com)

THE HOUR OF REVELATION: APOSTLE JONETTA McClure
People of God, prepare. We have entered an hour of the opening of great doors and an influx of divine revelation. These doors will be avenues to the many things you have prayed about concerning your vision, and the revelation will give you the instructions as to how to proceede. Because you have kept God's word and has not denied his name, Satan will arise as well in this hour in many forms. He will make special visits to you thru dreams, visions and thru people. Therefore watch the people that are coming to you in this season. Their assignment will be to cast doubt on your destiny walk and the things God told you to do. These vessels will try to alter your steps away from the doors that God has set before you, and give you keys that opens doors of bondage and doors of defeat. These subtitle spirits will come with lips as smooth as butter and words softer than oil; quoting scriptures and giving advice, but their swords are drawn and war is in their hearts.
So beloveds, take heed. Let God be God in your life and hear none other, except you try the spirits and see whether they were sent by God. Watch as well as pray, and continue in the little strength you have. Don't let the enemy draw you under his wings by way of temptation. If successful, Satan will destroy your destiny. Believe it! ~Catch the wisdom of this thing~ Rev 3:8, Psalm 55:21, 1 John 4:1 By http://Jonettamcclureministries.org/

WHEN LIFE WAS UNFAIR, HE TURNED TO PRAYER! BY MARILYN ORTON Life was unfair to Jabez in many ways. To complicate things, every time someone said his name he was reminded that he was a pain. Can you imagine growing up with a name like “Pain?” But someone, somewhere, came into his life and taught him to pray. Jabez learned well for he is known exclusively for his prayer life. Probably because he did more of it than anyone else. Without his prayer he would be just another name in a long list of begets. With it, he captured God’s attention, and was elevated to a place of honor. He prayed a simple, yet profound prayer, small in content, but speaking volumes of wisdom: “Oh that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from evil so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request. 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 The value of the prayer is not in its words, but in the life of one man who prayed it. It is not a selfish prayer about things, but a personal one about receiving what God wants to give to everybody. The prayer of Jabez is a memorial to the grace and mercy of God who hears and answers prayer and has the power to change everything in the life of the disadvantaged and broken hearted. As you read the Scripture and focus on the simple prayer throughout each day, you will find that what God did for Jabez, He will also do for you. And it will be exceeding abundantly above all you can ever ask or think, according to His power at work in you. He has promised! (Eph. 3:20)
How did a boy who began his life with no father, no inheritance, no future, brothers without honor, a dysfunctional family, a poor self-image, and a Mother who considered him a pain, become a man who was highly respected, an imminent teacher, who overcame rejection, had a town named after him, and made it to the top of God’s honor roll? What was His secret? HE PRAYED FOR GOD’S PROVISION “Oh, that you would bless me indeed” The word “indeed” changes the emphasis from what things Jabez might enjoy asking for, to the spiritual blessings that God had planned for him. He is praying for God’s definition of a blessing, and not his own. Jabez was wise enough to know that what he considered a blessing could easily become a burden, but the ones that God wanted to give him would turn his burdens into blessings. In praying such a prayer he developed the power for a life of greatness to emerge. Often we want the blessings that we think we should have and not the ones that God has planned for us. Ask God this week to bless you “indeed” with the blessings that He has designed just for you. Day 1: Read Psalm 20 Father, bless me in the alignment of your will for my life. Day 2: Read Ephesians 3:20 Lord, surprise me with blessings I have never even dreamed of! Day 3: Read Isaiah 41:10 Today, dear God, show me the spiritual blessings that have come from my burdens. Day 4: Read 2 Corinthians 9:8 Lord Jesus, bless me according to your definition of blessing, and not my own. Day 5: Read Nehemiah 13:2 God, I believe that you are working even now, this very day, to turn my burdens into blessings, Day 6: Read 2 Corinthians 9:6-15
Put your spiritual blessings upon my life so that others will be pointed to you, and be blessed. Day 7: Read Proverbs 10:22 Thank you, dear Lord, that the true blessings that you give, do not bring sorrow with them HE PRAYED FOR A LARGER PLACE IN LIFE “And enlarge my territory!” Jabez was not content with the status quo. He wanted influence, expanded vision, an enlarged comfort zone, and, if necessary, for God to turn his world upside down to make it happen. Out of that passionate prayer for God to expand his ministry, came the desire to know the Word of God, and to teach it to others. When he came to the end of his life, he was an eminent Doctor, a teacher of the Scribes, and an entire city was named for him. He poured his life in the two things that would last forever; God’s Word and people. God will always enlarge the influence and ministry of those who will be a responsible steward of what He gives them. Day 8: Read Mark 11:20-26 Lord, stretch me today so that I might be used in remarkable ways for your glory. Day 9: Read 2 Corinthians 1:4 You have comforted me that I might comfort others. Day 10: Read Acts 20:23 Help me to make those under my influence aware and conscious of You. Day 11: Read Deuteronomy 19:8 Father, enlarge my territory so I may have all you have promised to give to me. Day 12: Read Luke 6:43 Lord, today I want to see fruit for eternity. Day 13: Read 1 Corinthians. 3:9 God, show me where you are at work today, and give me the opportunity to join you. Day 14: Read 1 Samuel 16:1-13
Jesus, you have given to me all of the qualifications I need for ministry; wet eyes, bent knees, and a broken heart. Send me someone to minister to today. HE ASKED GOD’S PRESENCE TO BE WITH HIM. “Let your hand be with me” Jabez is praying “Oh God, go with me into the future, and let me have a perpetual walk with you.” He wanted a relationship with God even more than he wanted the blessings. He didn’t ask God to take away his suffering, only that God would be with him in it. He knew that the disadvantages and handicaps he had could be overcome by the hand of God’s touch upon his life. With God’s presence in our life we need not fear the future nor dwell in the failures of the past. God’s all-sufficient hand working in and through us is by far the greatest blessing we could every hope to enjoy. Day 15: Read Exodus 33: 15 Lord, I don’t want to go anyplace where your presence would not go with me. Day 16: Read Psalm 16:11 Thank you that there is overflowing joy in your presence. Day 17: Read Revelation 7:15 I praise you that your presence is a shelter in the time of storm. Day 18: Read Psalm 105:4 All day today, I will continually seek your presence in my life. Day 19: Read 1 Corinthians 2:4 Lord, let me today see the power and demonstration of your hand in my life. Day 20: Read Exodus 33:14 I praise you that I can walk in peace and rest because your own hand is guiding me. Day 21: Read Deuteronomy 33:27
Father, I will be aware today that your everlasting arms are carrying me. Day 22: Read Jude 1:24 Your presence in my life will keep me from falling or failing. HE PRAYED FOR GOD’S PROTECTION “And keep me from evil, so that I will not cause pain.” Jabez is praying a preventative prayer for protection from evil people, places and things. He was aware of the pain and sorrow that comes from following evil, and didn’t want to cause grief to the heart of God and those around him. Perhaps this is the most important part of the Prayer of Jabez. Why? Because it points out to each of us that we are incapable of knowing all that is evil, but God knows and can keep us from it. Day 23: Read 2 Timothy 4:18 The Lord, will deliver me from every evil work. Day 24: Read Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against me will prosper. Day 25: Read 2 Thessalonians 3:3 God, thank you for your promise to keep me from evil. Day 26: Read Romans 12:9 Today I will abhor evil and cling to good. Day 27: Read John 17:15 Christ has prayed that I might be kept from evil. Day 28: Read Revelation 12:11 I will overcome Satan by the blood of Christ and the word of my testimony. Day 29: Read 1 Peter 3:10 Keep my tongue from evil that I might love life and see good days. Day 30: Read Proverbs 18:10 Father, you are my high tower, and when I am confronted with evil I will run to you.
The boy who began his life as a pain, ended it as a man with the blessings of God upon his life. He prayed for greater influence and God led him to help others study His Word. He walked in the light and the presence of God Himself. No evil penetrated his life, and he never, ever caused anyone pain again. And it all happened BECAUSE HE PRAYED! ADDED BY BABSIE VAN DER BERG Dear Facebook Friends, there is something that has been on my mind a lot lately and I know it will cause some people to frown, but I have to share this so I can stay true to the teachings of God. So many people believe tha their loved ones 'look' after them or they can feel their presence. God's word teaches us that once our loved ones have passed on, they can NEVER return to this world again. In Luke 16:27 the rich man went to hell and asked someone in heaven to send somebody to warn his father and brothers about hell, he was told that there is a great gap between the dead and the living and that nobody that has crossed over can ever return! Our memories keep them alive in our hearts, but THEY cannot 'BE' with us. If you feel a Presence it is God who surrounds you with His security and Love. The only spirits that roam the realms are those that belong to satan. This is clearly stated in God's word - Ephesians 6:12 - 'For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual HOSTS of wickedness in the heavenly places". Mediums that tell you they can get you in touch with your loved ones, DO NOT VENTURE there, the only 'loved ones' you will encounter are the spirits of satan that can take on the personality of your loved ones. People who are with God will not have any desire to come back to earth to 'watch' over us, they are with God and nothing else matters to them but to praise and exalt God all the time. GOD is THE ONE whose presence you feel when you feel calmness and serenity accompanying you. GOD is the ONE that keeps you safe and Protects you, GOD is the ONLY ONE capable of doing this. And for us to have all this wonderful protection from GO, we have to ACCEPT HIS SON JESUS CHRIST as the GIFT God has given us.
We DO NOT have to WORK for it, or do GOOD DEEDS, God gives us this gift regardless of what we do, we must just accept the gift and turn our lives to GOD. SURRENDER, people who were or know about was knows what that word means - to give up EVERYTHING. When surrender to God, it means handing over our WHOLE life to God. Accepting His Son as our ADVOCATE, the MEDIATOR, who pleads our case with the Father. Just remember NO MAN can convert you, The Holy Spirit is the only one that is given that power. He is the Only One that can convince you about the Truth. All you have to do is surrender and BE WILLING for God to take control. When 2 people get married, the vows go like this - Forsaking all others - WELL this is exactly what you have to do to be one of those that gain entry to God's Kingdom to be with HIM. Forsaking 'all others' when you claim to be a child of God, you DO NOT READ Horoscopes, nor visit 'mediums' or talk to forefathers spirits (they are not on earth anymore - it is the devil wanting us to believe that) you forsake ALL to be able to allow the Holy Spirit to fill your soul with God's truth. I do not mind anyone commenting on what I have posted, just realise I will not venture into any argument about this. I am not qualified for any argument and posted this because of things I read and hear that makes me afraid that people that will miss the opportunity to be with God in His Kingdom. GOD BLESS If there are any Pastors or Ministers that can explain this in a better way PLEASE help. (Shared with Susan La Grange permission)
“WHAT YOU DO, DO QUICKLY” – PREDESTINED & PREORDAINED
BY INGRID POTGIETER John 13:27 (Amplified Bible) - Then after [he had taken] the bit of food, Satan entered into and took possession of [Judas]. Jesus said to him, What you are going to do, do more swiftly than you seem to intend and make quick work of it. John 13:27 (English Standard Version) - Then after he had taken the morsel, Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, “What you are going to do, do quickly.” So we have passed the Passover / Easter season, with many preachers and teachers having ministered regarding this very Word, with different interpretations etc. We are grateful, that Christ chose OBEDIENCE to the Father, which ultimately led to the Calvary, over His own desires. At all times we need to remember that Christ submitted His Will to the Father’s Will. In so doing we have many important lessons to learn from the Master, regarding the providence and sovereignity of God. His ways are most definitely not our ways and His thoughts not our thoughts for most assuredly we would not have chosen this path for the way to fulfil Salvation. In the above text, the setting is the “upper room” where the Passover meal is being prepared for Jesus to sup with His disciples. As the evening draws on, it is noted that the Master becomes increasingly serious. At the moment, of Him breaking the bread and dipping with Judas, Jesus instructs Judas to “what you do, do quickly”. Now Christ understood that both He and Judas were on assignment and both He and Judas had a task to complete and that from the foundation of the earth Judas had been created for this all time betrayal.
What is our lesson today? As Believers, we never expect trouble to befall us, even less do we expect our “own” to be the engineers of that trouble, yet this is the reality that Christ has already shown us. As we come closer to our destiny, so too is the betrayer “closer to home”. It is only those closest to us, who can push and propel us into destiny and purpose. Though it is increasingly painful to deal with, we need to get to the place of saying to our ‘Judas’ – “WHAT YOU DO, DO QUICKLY”. We need to grow up and become mature in Christ that we understand that all are on assignment and that all is playing out in the Sovereign Plan of Almighty God, that nothing which has or is taking place right now is without His Knowledge or Approval. No matter how difficult it may be He has already predestined you. Romans 8:27-31 [Amplified] And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will. We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose. For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren. And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being]. What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]
That being said brethren, let us keep our focus, let us run this race, as the Apostle Paul exhorted us, with endurance and let us finish so that the Master can say “well done, good and faithful servant. He knows what you are enduring, He knows how much you can bear, He has ENTRUSTED you with this particular test or trial at this particular time, because He has found you faithful and He has found you obedient and He knows that you will follow Him as He brings you out, For His Glory, For His Purpose, For His Grace, For His Love. Agape in Christ Jesus, Our Lord and Saviour Ingrid Potgieter
It is so amazing when God is speaking to you through His Word. He draws you and opens His heart to you about how He feels concerning you. All we have to do is not harden our hearts when we hear His voice speaking to us this day. Sitting here I can’t help but lift my hands in reverence unto my God, for he deserves the glory, honor, power and all the praises belongs to Him. Blessing and Glory, and Honor, Dominion and Praises all belongs to You. Tears run down my face as I shout out I love and need Thee O Lord my God. Have you ever hurt so badly within because there is a struggle with your flesh and spirit where God is concern? I long to go higher and higher in the Lord, but there is a strong hold holding me back and I honestly don’t know what it is or how to break the bondage thereof. I hear the Lord calling me to come and every time I want or to go I get distracted by something so simple. I just have to take some time to evaluate myself and take a good look at what it is I am doing and not doing that is displeasing to both of us. I have to see me through the eyes of God. How does God see me and the things I am or not doing? When I read these words spoken by God and heard them within my spirit I began to cry because I know it is true even though at times it does not feel like it. Am I questioning my faith and trust in God and his word? I can recall when my faith was so strong craziness about it at all cost. Have I lost the desire to be in the house of God again or am I just numb to the thing that goes on and chooses not to be a part of them? Am I choosing what part of the Word of God, I want to obey and ignore the part I don’t? I am not in denial that I need help from my family in the Lord; however, if you are not sincere about my walk and growth in God, please do not pray against me. I am more than a conqueror and I shall come forth just as Lazarus did from the grave. Amen!!!

A Motivational Moment DR. LEONARD ROBINSON
Do you want to go from poverty to prosperity? Do you want to go from lack to abundance of supply? The answer is going to be found in you breaking the mental conditioning that has dominated your life, even your life since salvation. The Word of God is quick, powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword, cutting to the joints and marrow of the bone and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart but the word cannot renew your mind for you. You will have to voluntarily reprogram your thinking to coincide with God's capacity for your provision if you are ever going to break the trap of poverty and defeat. God is a God of increase, abundance and fullness. It does nothing incomplete and He wants you to be whole, sound, nothing missing, nothing broken. God wants you walking in His shalom which is peace and provision. You have been programmed by your parents, brothers and sisters, friends and your culture to think and act the way you do; yes even in religion. Identify your programming and then eradicate any thought patterns or habits of thought that are contrary to what the Word of God says about your personal success. This is not a prosperity message. This is an appeal to you to get your mind right.
Many of you have been waiting for your season, waiting for your breakthrough, waiting to touch the hem of Jesus garment spiritually but this same Jesus now lives in you. Get beyond being stroke by stories of hope and begin to deal practically in matters of business, opportunity, pushing yourself past your dilemmas and moving into the fulfillment of your divine destiny because you are making God's kingdom and righteousness your number one priority. There is absolutely no lack in the Kingdom of God, just total abundance. If you will change your thinking; change your mental programming, you can experience the God that is more than enough, do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you could ask or think. Do you want to go from poverty to prosperity? Do you want to go from lack to abundance of supply? The answer is going to be found in you breaking the mental conditioning that has dominated your life, even your life since salvation. Reprogram yourself for biblical prosperity and biblical prosperity starts with you loving God just because He is God, and you loving Him not for what He will do for you, but loving Him just because He is God. Matthew 6:33 Kingdom First!
"AFTER THE RAIN, THE SUN WILL SHINE AGAIN." BY PROPHETESS SISTER MARY BOLDEN
INTO EACH LIFE, A LITTLE RAIN MUST FALL, IT'S IN ORDER THAT WE WILL GROW (SPIRITUALLY SPEAKING). THE WORD OF GOD SAYS, "WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY WILL COME IN THE MORNING." IT'S TRUE, THAT THE LORD ALLOWS HIS PEOPLE TO SUFFER THROUGH HEART ACHES, HARD SHIPS, AND PAIN BUT JUST FOR A TIME, THEN HE GIVES US THAT LIFTING WHEN HE HEARS US CALLING ON HIM FOR HELP. AND THEN, HE WILL WIPE OUR TEARS FROM OUR EYES WHEN HE SEES US CRYING. HE WILL SEND SOMEONE OUR WAY TO HELP US ALONG THE WAY. AND HE'S ALWAYS RIGHT ON TIME. I'M A LIVING WITNESS OF THAT. JUST WHEN WE THINK HE HAS FORGOTTEN US...HE STEPS RIGHT IN RIGHT ON TIME EVERY TIME! HIS TIMING IS PERFECT. HE'S NEVER LATE, EVEN WHEN WE BEGIN TO THINK SO.
YOU SEE, HE IS ETERNITY AND HE ORCHESTRATES TIME HERE ON THE EARTH FOR US. MAN WOULD MESS UP THINGS TRYING TO SET THINGS IN ORDER. GOD IS OMNISCIENT, ALL KNOWING AND ALL WISE GOD. HE HAS ALREADY SENT HIS SON TO GO BEFORE US TO PREPARE THE WAY AND MAKE OUR PATHWAY PLAIN. HE ALREADY KNEW HOW SATAN WOULD TRY TO STEAL, KILL, AND DESTROY HIS PEOPLE. BUT HE TOLD him>that old serpent, the devil 'TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED AND DO MY PROPHETS NO HARM!!!!!!!!" SO, THE DEVIL KNOWS HE HAS TO ASK PERMISSION BEFORE HE CAN EVEN COME NEAR GOD'S CHOSEN ONES. IF MAN HAD EVERYTHING TO GO HIS WAY, NONE OF US WOULD WANT TO GO THROUGH ANY PROBLEMS OR TRIBULATIONS. WE WOULD ALL WANT EVERYTHING TO BE JUST LIKE IT WAS INTENDED IN THE BEGINNING IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN BEFORE ADAM AND EVE MESSED IT UP FOR US (WE SAY.) WELL, IT'S TRUE, ADAM AND EVE BOTH SINNED WHEN THEY REFUSED TO LISTEN AND HEED THE VOICE OF THE LORD TELLING THEM NOT TO EAT OF THE FRUIT OF GOOD AND EVIL. THEY GOT TO CURIOUS AND WANTED TO SNEAK AND TRY IT EVEN THOUGH THEY BOTH KNEW WHAT GOD HAD SAID. HE SPOKE FIRST OF ALL TO ADAM WHO HE HAS PLACED IN CHARGE OF THE GARDEN. AND THEN, THAT OLD SERPENT CAME AND LURED EVE TO STEP AWAY FROM ADAM SO HE COULD TEMPT HER TO DO JUST WHAT SHE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO DO.
AND EVEN THOUGH ADAM TOLD HER THAT GOD SAID THEY SHOULDN'T EAT FROM THAT ONE TREE, (OUT OF ALL THE OTHERS THEY COULD EAT FROM); HE WENT ALONG WITH EVE INSTEAD OF TAKING CHARGE AS THE HEAD OF HIS HOUSEHOLD, THE FIRST MAN GOD CREATED TO BE IN CHARGE OF THINGS.....AND IT WAS BECAUSE HE SAW FIT TO PLEASE THAT WOMAN MORE THAN GOD! WE WONDER WHY THERE IS SO MUCH SIN THAT IT RAGING IN THE WORLD TODAY; THE CRIME RATE IS RISING DAILY; OUR YOUNG PEOPLE ARE KILLING ONE ANOTHER (SATAN'S PLAN TO DESTROY THEIR WHOLE GENERATION). BUT, THANKS BE TO GOD, HE SAID HE WILL RAISE UP A NATION THAT WILL OBEY! AREN'T YOU GLAD YOU KNOW AS I DO, WHO IS REALLY THE ONE IN CONTROL? HALLELUJAH! THANK YOU JESUS THAT WE KNOW YOU ARE EL SHADDAI> ALMIGHTY, ALL POWERFUL, AND ALL SUFFICIENT GOD. YOU ARE GOD OF THE MOUNTAINS. WE KNOW THAT YOU SIT HIGH AND YOU LOOK DOWN LOW, BEHOLDING THE EVIL AND THE HOLY IN EVERY PLACE. THANK YOU JESUS FOR WE ALSO KNOW YOU AS JEHOVAH-ROHI< THE LORD, OUR SHEPHERD. YOU GUARD, SHIELD AND PROTECT US AND YES YOU FEED US WHEN WE ARE HUNGRY. NO MATTER WHAT TRIALS WE MUST GO THROUGH, CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH GOD, WE ARE ALSO TAUGHT THAT "THE TRIAL OF OUR FAITH WORKETH PATIENCE.
" SO WE SHOULD LET PATIENCE HAVE IT'S PERFECT WORK IN US.. IT'S NOT ALWAYS EASY WHEN , ESPECIALLY, WE "KICK AGAINST THE PRICK". BUT, WE MUST LEARN TO LISTEN, HEED AND OBEY THE WILL OF GOD AND NOT KICK AGAINST IT, BUT ACCEPT IT KNOWING THAT GOD CANNOT FAIL. AND NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD. HE'S GOD ALL POWER IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH IN HIS HANDS. WE JUST MUST LEARN TO TRUST HIM COMPLETELY AND NEVER DOUBT HIM! BECAUSE, "WITHOUT FAITH, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD." ONE THING I WANT TO LEAVE WITH YOU IS THAT "NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD." NOT LIFE, NOR DEATH, ANGELS NOR PRINCIPALITIES; ETC. NOTHING OF THE EVIL ONE CAN SEPARATE US FROM GOD'S AGAPE' LOVE BECAUSE IT'S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND HIS LOVE IS ETERNAL. WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE. SO JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND SO THAT YOU WILL BEGIN TO THANK GOD (AS I HAVE) FOR THE RAINY DAYS (PROBLEMS, SETS OF CIRCUMSTANCES, SITUATIONS WE FIND OURSELVES IN; BEING HATED FOR NO REASON EXCEPT THAT WE WALK ON HOLY GROUND AND OUR LIGHT IS SHINING TOO BRIGHT ON THOSE WHO PREFER DARKNESS OVER THE LIGHT). JUST HOLD ONTO GOD'S UNCHANGING HANDS AND KNOW THAT "AFTER THE RAIN, THE SUN WILL SHINE AGAIN." LOVE YOU WITH AGAPE', PROPHETESS SISTER MARY
In Pursuit of Peace BY : MARILYN ORTON : PRESIDENT WOMEN OF WORTH INTERNATIONAL
As Jesus was preparing to go to the cross, He specifically left us the legacy of His peace (John 14:1). If this is true, and it is, why do so many Christians experience more panic than the peace Jesus promised us?
Psychologists tell us that stress occurs and peace is shattered when we attempt to control things that are out of our control. This can also be true in prayer, when we attempt to control what we want God to do. When our prayers mainly consist of giving God directives on how to handle our affairs, as if He were a cosmic errand boy, we soon loose our peace. Psalms 34:14 says when peace is lost, we are to pursue it with all diligence until it is regained. We pursue peace in prayer when we bring to a halt our attempts to inform God what we think He should do, and simply tell Him our needs and then trust Him to do His work, His way. Our trust in Him guarantees He will keep us in His perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3). We know we are fully trusting Him when we: Totally give our circumstances to Him. God is a perfect gentleman. If we insist on handling our affairs, He simply lets us. He cannot keep that which we have not committed. We must decide whether we are going to clutch our problems, or put them in His grip. We can’t have it both ways. Relinquish the outcome to Him. By trusting God to conclude things any way He desires, we find that His answers are far wiser than our prayers. Satisfy ourselves that we have done everything He has asked us to do, and then commit to doing nothing more, nothing less, and nothing else. Understand that everything that is happening is for our ultimate good. In following a recipe we add many ingredients that, if eaten alone, would taste terrible, but when blended together are quite enjoyable. The components of our circumstances may be distasteful, but when the process is finished God will have the last word, and it will be good! Thank Him in advance for what He is doing, even when we can’t see it. Praise brings God personally on the scene, for He inhabits the praises of His people. God’s incredible peace is free, but it is not cheap. It cost Him everything He held dear. Our pursuit of it will cost us something too. The price tag of experiencing God’s perfect peace has been, is now, and forever will be, trust.

The Swift Angels Are Here! : WRITTEN BY KATHIE WALTERS -ADDED BY SUSAN C. CLARK
About a month ago, I thought I was seeing things! When I looked at certain people I would see these small birds swirling above their heads – they were Swifts. No one told me that, but I knew in my spirit that that is what they were. There are things I don't know about Swifts, but I do know they can fly very fast (up to 70mph and more) and fly high and never touch the ground voluntarily. They sleep on the wing, eat and drink on the wing, and even mate on the wing. They don't come to nest on the earth and almost always nest in buildings. On a side note, the most famous and oldest nesting place is the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Last count there were 88 pairs of Swifts on the wall and circling over Jerusalem. They just recently came back and they return the same day every year. Then I began to see Swift-like angels moving very quickly among people. Always Be Available and Ready to Go I am always talking about being available and ready to go. Along these lines, I tell people about the angel from New Zealand who is always in my meetings there. He came to my house and sang to me the entire song from Aladdin, "A Whole New World." The song starts out with an invitation. Aladdin says to the Princess Jasmine, "Do you trust me?" and he holds out his hand to her. He takes her on a carpet ride and she gets a whole new perspective on everything. I hope you will take the opportunity to listen to that song. When the angel sang that song, He said to me, "Kathie, there is a whole new world for you if you will believe it and receive it."
I accepted that and thought that was easy until ten minutes later a Pastor friend of mine in Singapore texted me and asked me to "Come and help train some pastors." "No problem," I thought, as I love Singapore. I texted a reply, "I will be there." Five minutes later he texted back and said, "Oh, I'm not in Singapore. I'm in Siberia." I was a bit alarmed when I heard that and really hoped he would forget all about it. But six months later I found myself in Siberia! Siberia was very oppressive, but a Siberian angel got on the plane when it pulled into the gate and started to push myself and my friend DeAnn around the plane. He told us to "lighten up." We started to laugh hysterically. We couldn't stand up because he was pushing us around. The Siberian flight attendant came down the aisle and told us, "There is a light over you." "Oh great," we said, "it's from the church in the sky." He looked at us as we looked out of the window. "No, no," he said, "the church is in the sky not out of the window." We were drunk in the Spirit by then. When we got inside the airport, it was even more oppressive. We tried to be quiet and behave "properly" as we didn't want to get arrested. But it didn't work. The angel started pushing us around again. "Lighten up," he said, and he started laughing. My, my, we do have such religious concepts about angels, don't we? We tried to straighten up, but he kept pushing us and we started laughing and laughing. We thought the security people were going to get annoyed, but guess what? They started laughing and getting drunk in the Spirit. The man couldn't stamp my passport because he was falling off the chair. The supervisor came running out to see what all the commotion was about. He touched my back as he squeezed past me and he began to get drunk in the Spirit, too. We couldn't speak Russian and they couldn't speak English except to say "Passport" and "Visa," but after a while they were holding their hands to their mouths and pointing. There was an English guy standing there and I asked him if he knew what they were saying. "Yes," he said, "they are saying they can taste honey in their mouth."
The Lord spoke to me and said, "Yes, and the next time someone does witness to them about Jesus, they will have a good taste in their mouth." I knew that they would have the same taste of honey and would know it was a good and pleasant thing they were hearing. Are You Ready? Well, back to the swift angels. Are you ready to go? We all say yes, but for some people it's time to say "goodbye" and for others it's time to say "hello." Doors open and close. Windows of opportunity open, but we have to take those opportunities. It's time to take off. I have a feeling there are people reading this who have taken off before but somehow got "grounded." God is the Author of taking off. He enables you to fly, but we have to respond to His invitation. See what God sees for you. He sees the whole picture...huge. It's amazing what you can do in only a week or two when the Holy Spirit is moving and the angels help you. The angels are very interested in helping you fulfill the purposes of God in your life. That's what their assignment is – YOU are their assignment. Are you ready to fly? This is a bit different from the eagle anointing – it's an anointing to move swiftly – and high – and fast. I have a good friend who says God always pushes him, but that's not true, really. God doesn't push you against your will. Sometimes our mindsets get in the way, but the heart really wants to embrace the purposes of God, so God sends angels to push us past our mindsets. A hungry heart will always push you past your mind in the end. We only have one life to live down here, it might as well be an adventure. Better to make a few mistakes then never do anything. If you don't ever want to make a mistake, don't do anything – that's simple, isn't it? Only Be Willing - God Is the One Who Is Able A couple of years ago, some friends on the Gold Coast of Australia told me after a meeting, "We are going to take the next opportunity God gives us." So I asked, "Well, why don't you come with me to Hawaii?" "When are you going?" they enquired. "Tomorrow," I responded. They weren't on the plane with me the next day, but a couple of days later they were in Hawaii.
They helped me for a few days, and on Sunday they preached. Doors opened all over the place and they stayed and ministered in Hawaii for several months. You just have to be willing and prepared to get ready swiftly. God is the One Who is able. It doesn't matter how old you are! Twenty or ninety. God is raising up an army of wild grandmas, remember.

Cost : BY JEFF GODSOWN
Are we willing to count the cost, especially those who desire titles? For one to count the cost is a continual action, 1Co 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. Jesus said and made apparent and clear; Mat 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. Mat 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Mar 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Mar 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. If we continue to die daily to self, then our title(s), along with all self interests, take no precedence in our lives, for like Jesus, we’re not about self, but rather about our Father’s business. Luk 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business? Thus pointing all to Jesus!
When we read the book of Daniel, we can get a good picture of what it means, to be willing to die for what we believe in, and hopefully, what we believe in and stand up for is God, alone. Dan 3:14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up? Dan 3:15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands? Dan 3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. Dan 3:17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. Dan 3:18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Dan 3:19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. Still reading even further in the book of Daniel, we see not only were Daniel’s friend tried, but now, even Daniel, their leader was also put to the test, and he passed as well. Dan 6:7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions. Dan 6:8 Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.
Dan 6:9 Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree. Dan 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. Dan 6:11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God. Dan 6:12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not. Dan 6:13 Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day. Dan 6:14 Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him. Dan 6:15 Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed. Dan 6:16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee. Dan 6:17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. Not only did these men, these servants of God pass, God protected them. These men were not about self interest or self promotion, these servants of God, were true leaders, who were true to God, even at the risk and cost of their own lives.
Mar 8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it. Mar 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? How much personal notoriety is worth the cost of your life and your soul? When you put yourself above God, and or above the Word, Jesus, you risk losing your own soul, while denying Christ. Mar 8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Mar 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. Not the place I ever want to be, and hopefully the same is true of you. Now, let each of us go forward, fighting the good fight, fighting to take back the kingdom from the thief and those who serve the thief, and remember; we are no match in importance to that of the character and nature of God. It is God’s truth and our admission that brings us freedom, Amen.
THE KING’S APPROVAL: BY CATHERIN SKINNER
Let the Good Book provide your daily dose of faith, strength and belief. Don't miss out! In the Book of Esther we see that God blessed her with much outward physical "beauty,” but it is the "beauty” of her heart that sets her apart for the "providence” of God to be shown. It took Esther one year to prepare for one night with the King. I find it very interesting that the name of God is not mention in this book, but you see His finger is directing many minute events for the bringing about of His people’s deliverance. Tommy Tenney said in God Chaser when the anointing of God rests on human flesh, it makes everything flow better. One of the clearest pictures of the anointing and its purpose in the Bible is provided in the Book of Esther. When Esther was being prepared for the presentation of the King of Persia, she was required to go through a year of purification during which she was repeatedly soaked in fragrant anointing oil. Have you ever notice that when you have bath or soaked in perfume oil that a man or woman that comes near you think or say that you smell good? I find this too interesting because I have seen it with men/women of God that is under the anointing, unless God directs them they do not give you the time of day. "I say this because so many times even I have became attacked more so to the anointing on a man of God rather than the man.”
When the Spirit of God’s anointing covers the human flesh there is a strong attraction to the God within! I can recall a certain Bishop, I will not mention his name for privacy sake, but the anointing was so strong on this man that I told him, "I do not make you equal with God, but when I am in your presence it is as I am sitting at the feet of Jesus.” Of course I got strange looks from across the table, but I did not care. I enjoyed being fed by this man of God. His response was that he was honored that he could go into the Presence of God and come feed my spirit the things of God! This is why God looks at the "Beauty” of your heart. Can He use your heart for His purpose, glory and good pleasure? We all know according to the Good Book that David had a heart after God’s own heart and found favor with God. I truly understand why David asked God to create a clean heart and renew a right spirit within him. Psalm 51:10 So many times we have sought the approval of man instead the approval of our King. I like in fact I love what Tommy Tenney said here about "The purpose of the anointing is not to make man like you, but to make the King like you.” Is God calling you to be set apart for purpose of preparation for His anointing and glory? Well I sense strongly He is wooing me because my focus has been off so strongly lately that He is requiring some quality time alone with me. Amen! Food for thought from my heart to yours! The Name : BY MARILYN ORTON
Centuries ago, Shakespeare asked the question “What is in a name?” Have you ever considered everything that is in the name of Jesus? It did not have it’s beginning in a manger, nor did it end at Calvary. Bethlehem was simply the place where every name of God in the Bible, was consolidated into one name---Jesus. Tender enough to be a baby’s name, yet strong enough to be Almighty God, it can simply be called The Name. Conferred by God, he exalted it far above every other name, showing us that it is not the name that exalts the person, but the person who exalts the name. He granted it all power in heaven and in earth, and one day it will cause every knee to bow either in worship or submission. Jesus told us, when we pray, to ask in his name. As we do, the unseen spiritual world reverberates and replies accordingly. The Father furnishes immediate access into his presence and makes available to us all of the resources of his kingdom. The forces of evil quake and tremble, as the warriors of God snap to attention. The angels are put on alert and the Holy Spirit stands ready to release power that can as explosive as dynamite. Jesus is often among the first words learned and the last to be uttered. Belief in it brings hope for the hopeless, salvation for the sinner, strength for the saint, and joy even in the midst of sorrow. Just speaking The Name is all of the prayer necessary to release all of the power of God. Its very mention causes hell to shudder and quake, heaven to shout, and earth to plead with the Almighty. Even its faint whisper can calm fears, comfort sorrow, and melt hearts. It can even be breathed as a prayer; when a mother’s hand is placed on a fevered brow, a father grieves over a wayward son, the weary need rest, or an anxious soul seeks peace.
The name of Jesus will endure eternally in the heavens. It will outshine the stars, and far outlast eternity. And best of all, it will joyfully be everywhere we look, everlastingly engraved upon the foreheads of those who overcome. So “What is in a name? If it is The Name---everything. May we ask the Spirit of God to reveal to us all that is in the name of Jesus, so that we will fully understand all that it means to say it.
Woman of God YOU ARE Daddy’s Little Girl! You Are Adopted! He chose you!
BY ANGEL FULKERSON Consider the child born into a family. The parents do not have a choice of whom they get yet they love that child so much. Now, consider the adopted child. That child is chosen and loved. The Word tells us that we were adopted. That would say to us that HE CHOSE US. He chose you!
Because of Jesus, because of this adoption, we are given the right to call out to Abba Father; who is our Heavenly Daddy. This makes you “Daddy’s Little Girl.” As Daddy’s Little Girl you have been given an inheritance and a promise which you may not know about. You are given attributes and family genes that you may not be aware of. This adoption that you have been given is better than any earthly adoption you could imagine. Why? Because you have now received the blood of Jesus mixed with yours. Not literally but by grace. He made an offering of His blood so that you could be forgiven. This atonement for you and me caused our and His blood to mix in the spiritual realm. Your life and the life of Jesus have been intertwined and you have become a blood member of God’s family through the spirit of adoption. Jesus is not just your Savior but also your big brother and God has become your Father. This Spirit of adoption has given you the right to call on Abba (Daddy) at any time. He has also given you the best of big brothers who is Jesus, and He, too is available to you at any time. He has given you the Bible which for now we will call “The Family Tree.”
This “Family Tree” is given to us for guidance, instruction and knowledge of who we are and what our inheritance is. Throughout this book, I will give you some scripture references but you need to research for yourself. You need to seek out this family tree and your place in it for yourself. I can tell you who you are but for you to really know and believe, you have to do the research and work on the relationship so that you cannot just learn but so that you will know that you are Daddy’s Little Girl. Sometimes, we form an opinion in our minds about what a daddy is due to experiences we have had with our earthly daddies; BUT we can come to know Abba, our heavenly daddy. We can crawl up into His lap and talk with Him. We can come to Him knowing that He is available to us at any time. He is never too busy. There is nothing too trivial to take to Him. If it is important to us, it is important to Him; and Abba is ready to listen and instruct us. He will bless us in our obedience and He will correct us with a loving hand. Abba will never turn His face from us because we fail or turn away from Him. Even when we turn away, He is there. He wants only the best for us. He will wait however long it takes for us to turn back toward Him. He woos us back to Him when we stray away. He waits patiently when we do not listen.
When we turn our backs on Him, His face still shines towards us as He waits on the prodigal to return home. When we want to come home; when we want to come back to Him; He is right there where He was before waiting with loving and open arms welcoming us home, beckoning us to come closer. You are and always will be Daddy’s Little Girl. (Romans 8:15; Psalm 27:10; Ephesians 1:5) Printed with Permission© Daddy’s Little Girl Book Excerpt, Angel Fulkerson
Man of God YOU ARE ALSO Daddy’s Little Man! You Are Adopted! He chose you! He Loves you!
Reality Replacing Religion 2012 ~ BY: Susan C. Clark
2012 will be a year of the release of heavenly authority to many who have turned from religion to the reality of life in God. The mighty works of Father God in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit are now becoming reality in this season. The Pentecostal power that had morphed into a religious form is becoming living reality in God’s people. This year of 2012 will see the waning of religious form and the beginning of true kingdom reality for maturing sons and daughters of God. What we have preached and hoped for, but did not truly experience, is becoming the reality of our lives in this season. Seemingly without effort the supernatural miraculous works of Jesus will come forth in God’s humble people without even a hint of pride or merchandising. What we have said that we believed and tried to make happen will be done by the power of God abiding in His holy humble people. Truly the priesthood and the kingship of Christ are becoming manifest in His body of believers on earth. Do not look for this as a big show. It will be seen in multitudes of humble gatherings, small and large that will be veiled to those who are not willing to receive the fresh reality of kingdom life. Religious striving is passing away among God’s kingdom people.
Religion has ruled the world under the prince of this world – the prince of the power of the air. All religion is powerless without believers/followers. Religion appears to be man-made. However, it always originates from the dark spiritual world of the enemy. The only authority the enemy has is the authority we allow him to have. Deception is his primary weapon. The enemy was in the garden with Adam and Eve but was completely powerless until he deceived Eve and then Adam. The devil must deceive human beings to usurp the authority given to mankind to rule in the world. To usurp our authority, he must separate us from the reality of life with God and entice us to follow him. The more he can make his false religion look like the reality of life in God, the more easily he can deceive people into following him and releasing their God-given authority to rule in this world. Religion is designed to placate the innate desire in the hearts of men for life in God. Eph 2:1-3: And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. The Precious among the Vile 2012 and beyond will be a season of separation for sanctification and connection for preparation. God will lead His people into an intense time of preparing for the coming season of devastating circumstances in the world and glorious spiritual life in Him. The kingdom of God that has been formed within us will manifest under cover from the world in the most precious spiritual gatherings we have ever known. In these God connected groups and gatherings, the manifest presence of God will lovingly bond together and prepare His people to endure the hard times immediately ahead and to eventually plant the kingdom of God solidly into the entire world. Beyond the season of devastation, in another season to come, the fullness that is developing under cover will be released into the world.
The clearing and the deep plowing of the land of this world will leave little to none of the previous world order and fully prepare the soil of this world to receive the seed of the kingdom planted by the prepared people of God. The Bride City of God will become a reality on earth. Draw near to God By far the first and primary area of preparation for every child of God is intensely relating to God in the Spirit. Of course, this should have always been our priority. However, it truly must be our number one focus in this season. All other preparations will be of little or no value if we are not truly seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness FIRST in our lives. Intimately relating to God in the Spirit and becoming one with Him will release the authority of heaven within us to supernaturally accomplish the will and plan of God. Clear direction from God through praying in the Spirit and hearing in our spirit will enable us to walk through turbulent times without fear. As we walk in oneness with God, we must hear and obey what He speaks for us personally to be and to do. He can prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. God may use some of us to be a part of growing and preparing the food for that table. Others may be used in preparing for other needs, for other provisions and services. Extremely basic life will develop with the necessities of life locally grown, made or built from whatever is available and with whatever tools are available. If we are truly one with God and are obediently doing what He says when He says, the Spirit will coordinate the works of all to fit together in the tribal lifestyle of the future. Through the life of God in us, we shall overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony and not loving our lives to the death. Whether we live a long life or a short time in this body, we are the Lord’s and will never be apart from Him. Our great desire is to fully serve Him and to accomplish all He has given us to be and to do in this life. We are very important to one another and closely knit together in Him as each joint supplies its part. This will be more acutely seen and experienced in the seasons of devastation ahead for this world and the glorious season of experiencing the deepest river of His love filling us with His life and flowing the glory of the kingdom to one another. The glorious kingdom lifestyle is at the door. The kingdom is truly at hand in this day of the Lord.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones. ~ Proverbs 3:5-8 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. ~ Jesus The Sword of the Lord comes.Ron McGatlin
“WHAT YOU DO, DO QUICKLY” – PREDESTINED & PREORDAINED
BY : INGRID POTGIETER James 3:1-11 [Amplified] NOT MANY [of you] should become teachers ( ]self-constituted censors and reprovers of others), my brethren, for you know that we [teachers] will be judged by a higher standard and with greater severity [than other people; thus we assume the greater accountability and the more condemnation]. For we all often stumble and fall and offend in many things. And if anyone does not offend in speech [never says the wrong things], he is a fully developed character and a perfect man, able to control his whole body and to curb his entire nature. If we set bits in the horses' mouths to make them obey us, we can turn their whole bodies about. Likewise, look at the ships: though they are so great and are driven by rough winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the impulse of the helmsman determines. Even so the tongue is a little member, and it can boast of great things. See how much wood or how great a forest a tiny spark can set ablaze! And the tongue is a fire. [The tongue is a] world of wickedness set among our members, contaminating and depraving the whole body and setting on fire the wheel of birth (the cycle of man's nature), being itself ignited by hell (Gehenna). For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea animal, can be tamed and has been tamed by human genius (nature). But the human tongue can be tamed by no man. It is a restless (undisciplined, irreconcilable) evil, full of deadly poison.
With it we bless the Lord and Father, and with it we curse men who were made in God's likeness! Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing. These things, my brethren, ought not to be so. Does a fountain send forth [simultaneously] from the same opening fresh water and bitter?1 Peter 5:8 Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [ [f]in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. 1 John 3 & 4I now understand why so many people share so much of their private lives on Social Networks, seems when you are charged emotionally, be it love, anger, frustration or exasperation, that the forum Social Networks provide, it is an outlet to these emotions, be they positive or negative. I have learned however, that by the time one has pushed the "post/share" button, some of that emotion may have already run its course, yet the repercussions of the "status" are endless. Sometimes we may need to ask for forgiveness for our "post", even though it is deleted it has still gone out into cyberspace for whoever read it before, deletion.James exhorted the Body of Christ to watch their speech as the tongue could start a fire, seems in today's cyber world of communication we should warn of "DO NOT ‘POST’ IN HASTE" lest you cause a fire. Brethren, Apostle Peter admonished that satan goes around the earth as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, let us not leave him with opportunity to devour us. Let us be steadfast in the faith and the love of the brethren. There are many trials, tests and tribulations that we are enduring in this season and we are wanting to “SHARE” our lives, sometimes this “sharing” is not in the correct forum nor even for the correct audience. How often do we splurge our lives on Social Networks as children of the Most High God, are we not admonished to LOVE others, some of our “posts” leave much to be desired of those who are ‘born again’. Brethren James admonished us to bridle our tongues, in the Technological Age, I believe we need to bridle our ‘fingers’ as they type ‘speaking’ to the great world, never before has communication been so wide as it is today, never has it been as quick as today, whether in the US or Asia, it is INSTANT.
It is truly the season to mete all our communication in the LOVE of CHRIST, church is not on a Sunday, the church of Christ is meeting daily even in forums like Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, Twitter and many other Social Networks, let us be mindful of our audience at all times and that we need to edify and exhort one another in the Love of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. WORSHIP GOD BY WINNING SOULS by Joseph Samuel King on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 5:27am 路 YOUR WORSHIP OF THE LORD CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS: HERE'S HOW
YOUR WORSHIP MEANS A LOT MORE WHEN YOU SEE BEYOND YOURSELF AND SEEK TO WIN OTHERS TO HIM John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. John 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. John 4:26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
John 4:27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? John 4:28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, John 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? John 4:30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him. Recently, as Precious and I have been devoted to worshiping in the glory, the LORD has been working a glorious burden in our souls for the lost. As we have spent hours and amazing time in HIS presence, relishing in HIS power and the wondrous pleasure of HIS love, it has become increasingly clear that we should never contain the privilege of worship to ourselves. We are being driven by the power of the SPIRIT to share the blessing of worship with others. In this measure, the SPIRIT of the LORD has sent us from the presence of the LORD to invite others to share in the same wonder. Evangelism so to say has become an extension of our worship. Yes, we worship GOD; but we find that incomplete in itself until we can bring others to this glorious privilege. It is in this respect that the HOLY SPIRIT has opened my inner eyes to consider more seriously the testimony of CHRIST and the Samaritan woman: Many would say that this account of makes for remarkable appeal and it is obvious why John selected it among the vast plethora of things that JESUS. Indeed, the reference to a new kind of worship, where the FATHER seeks men that will engage HIM in spirit and in truth is widely quoted and even sought. However, what is missed by so many is the profound relation that this account provides for worship with evangelism. Many do not realize that in sharing this account, John was actually sharing with the saints about worship as improper without including in it the prospect of sharing GOD with others. Beloved, even as I have shared on worship and referred to this matter; yet, many have asked me, ‘What is worship in spirit and in truth?’ I am convinced that it is indeed a lot of things, among which it should include: Worship from ones heart as opposed to merely performing with ones lips; it also should include, worship as a life style rather than merely an occasion; and I am also persuaded that it includes worship of the LORD in the power of the SPIRIT as opposed to worshiping as a religious rite. It does refer to many things.
However, very cardinal in this account is the fact that John shows us that worship in spirit and in truth should be about worshiping the FATHER as expressed through love for others. Indeed, JESUS our LORD is indeed the prime example in this regard and demonstrates this in HIS life, ministry, and particularly in this account. HIS worship for the FATHER is clearly demonstrated in HIS love for us so much that in obedience to the FATHER, HE pitied us and was willing to lay down HIS life as a ransom for our sins. Beloveds, JESUS is a lover because HE is a worshiper; HIS worship of the FATHER endears HIM to the heart of GOD so that HE is moved to love us even as the FATHER HIMSELF loves us. Similarly, if we worshiped after HIS pattern, we too would be lovers. If you worship GOD, you will be drawn to HIS heart and you will discover that central to HIS affection is the salvation of men. You cannot be the worshiper that the FATHER seeks unless you have learned to love men and consider their salvation. When JESUS refers to a change in worship from merely going to GOD to a preferable worship in spirit and in truth, HE is castigating a self-conceited worship where men seek after GOD, attend to HIM regardless of others. This pattern of worship is indeed of the flesh and is unfortunately conventional to this day in spite of the LORD’s repudiation of it. To this day, people have the vain mentality of going to GOD alone (at most, with their spouses and family) without regard for others. Our LORD HIMSELF, demonstrates this by stopping HIS busy schedule to attend to the tortured soul of this Samaritan woman. HE is able to see in her the opportunity of receiving the harvest, of worshiping the FATHER, doing HIS will, by wining souls. In turn, John also shows us how this lady having perceived worship as it should be was not content with her experience with GOD being merely a personal privilege but was willing to go out where other tormented souls were to bring them to GOD. Her worship became an evangelical experience. After all, it is JESUS who summed up the whole law to one commandmentlove: Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:38 This is the first and great commandment. Matthew 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Matthew 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. HE likened the love of GOD to the love of men; seriously implying that GOD is not content with your love for HIM until HE knows your love for others. This is so awesome: Yes, the apostle John learned well from the MASTER and later on in his own ministry would rebuke those who pretend to worship GOD yet reserve spite for others: 1John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 1John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. He knew from the witness of CHRIST that without love, then worship is irrelevant; worship is perfected in love. That is why Precious and I have endeavored to obey GOD rather than be selfconceited and have made available all our ministry materials and books for FREE. We are working and are committed to ensuring that as many as we possibly can help will receive the word of truth without charge as an expression of our worship to GOD. While others have indeed become rich and many have even done this without consideration for others, we refuse to profit on the word GOD has given us to give HIS people. Like GOD, we refuse to sell the word when GOD has asked us to emulate HIM in sending the word (Isaiah 55:10, 11; John 1:1-14). And we do this as an expression of worship.

YOU HAVE COME THIS FAR BY FAITH! BY MARGARET MULLINGS Be Encouraged as you read!
On Monday April 16th, 2012; I was inspired to declare these words along with a beautiful picture of my beloved husband and I. " Abba Father's grace and mercy will bring us VICTORIOUSLY through. " Little did I know that hours later after publishing this, I would be put to the test. My beloved husband grew suddenly ill and had to be taken to the hospital, but I was thinking. He would be treated for the asthma attack, and we would go home together. Then the unthinkable happened the nurse beckoned me to the reception window, and informed me that my beloved was not responding to the treatment. Everything began to go down hill. Immediately I knew he was fighting for his life, and called for the prayer warriors to stand in the gap and pray, while the doctors did all they could do. The prayer warriors and I were allowed to go into the hospital 's chapel to pray. I found myself praying and weeping in travail for my beloved. I could not help but think of how life has a way of broadsiding you so to speak with some severe blows, which you did not see coming, and often times you are almost knocked out of your place. Somehow I couldn't seem to stop weeping in travail, and remained in this manner for almost a week. On the seventh day at about 1:30 am I was awakened by the most comforting voice....." You have come this far by faith." It was Abba Father. He began to turn the pages of my life reminding me of how my oldest son. When he was a little by grew gravely ill. He had collapsed suddenly after vomiting excessively.
While in his unconscious state he suffered severe seizures. He was diagnosed with meningitis. He was given a spinal tap which left him looking deformed, and each time I would visit him just the sight of him I would cry uncontrollably. Abba Father reminded me of how my beloved husband would say to me...." Margaret. Pray " ! Back then I did not know how to pray and cried helplessly. I am so thankful he prayed. Abba Father was showing me there is a difference between just crying and crying in travail. He revealed that I was actually petitioning for my beloved ! Today as I am writing about this my beloved is out of the hospital, and I believe he is healed in the name of Jesus! You too have come this far by faith. Yet in your marriage you are suffering many things. You have been faithful and obedient to Abba Father. You have prayed and you have fasted. Yet your spouse is so selfish and demanding. You may have reached your breaking point, and feel like walking away. To make matters worse Jezebel is always showing up throwing her jeers. You are wondering "Dear God, how long are you going to allow these things to continue " ? STOP ! Do not give up on your spouse ! Do not cuss out Jezebel ! Pause for a moment ! Take a deep breath. Breathe in...Now breathe out ! Pause and calmly think about this. When my husband grew suddenly ill as I was weeping in travail. There were moments that I could not understand what Abba Father was doing...things looked grim, and if I didn't surrender my will and emotions to Him, I would not have survived it. So it is in your marriage, what you are going through is too devastating...It is too heavy for you alone to bear it. Allow the comforting words of Abba Father to comfort and put you back on track. When I was awakened at 1:30 am hearing Abba Father speaking so comforting to me...." You have come this far by faith brought this interpretation. Stop crying Margaret. I have brought you this far by faith. That is the difference right there. Abba Father is aware of all your spouse and Jezebel is doing to you, and He has brought you this far by faith. Salvation, Healing, Restoration, Deliverance, and Restitution is yours. Are you ready for this ? Abba Father is testing your love walk ! Love walk ? Yes. Your love walk. In spite all that was and is being done to you. Abba Father is waiting for you to pass the love walk test. Displaying His love to your spouse and to Jezebel ! You have come this far by faith. Begin and for those of you who are doing this already continue to display the love of Jesus to your spouse especially during these difficult times. If you have moved out of your bedroom. Please return. Start if you are not doing so already washing and cooking again for your spouse. Husbands and wives speak kind words to each other. Surprise one another by greasing each other scalp and then give each other a massage. Do this often . Then wives.
Anoint your husband's head with oil and pray persistently, and relentlessly for him. Right before your very eyes. You will not only see Jezebel lose her hold on him, but you will see her flee away forever ! You have come this far by faith. It is time to refocus your attention on the things of Abba Father, spending more time in His presence; and in His word ! You have come this far by faith and it will take faith and obedience with a forgiving heart to love and forgive. Bringing Restoration and Sweet Communion to your marriage relationship. Question is though. Are you willing ? Do you still love your spouse ? Are you willing to let bygones be bygones ? Pause for a moment to think about this. Every time you go back into your past....reminding your spouse of what he or she used to do. You miss your future ! Forgive and forget even about yesterday. If you have answered "Yes" to any of the fore mentioned questions. You have received your release to build a beautiful strong marriage with the understanding that you must look to Abba Father as the Master Builder. Allow His Holy Spirit to teach you daily how to love and respect each other. With Jesus Christ as your Captain, release the helm to Him and you will not suffer shipwreck in your marriage! Be encouraged and strengthened. Remember. Every marriage goes through a time of testing, whether it is sickness, hardships, financial losses, selfishness, infidelity, and abuses. This list can go on and on. Whatever you are going through in your marriage always use the key ingredient which brings heaven down to your situation. Prayer is that key ingredient which activates the display of Jesus Christ in you ! 2 Corinthians 5:7 is resounding......" For we walk by faith, not by sight. " You have come this far by faith ! You have come this far by faith! There is Hope !

Good Shepherds ~ Who Will Restore the Hope of Our Calling ~ADDED BY SUSAN C. CLARK
Digging Up Hopeful Good Shepherds Who Will Restore the Hope of Our Calling In 2012 God has been speaking to us about the promises of Isaiah 58:12, about seeing His face again as the Promise Keeper in our lives, and of the New Operating System based in rest that He is giving us in this time. In the "New Hope Filled Operating System" the Lord revealed a new Operating System based in hope and rest that He is giving the Body of Christ for 2012 (to read this article click here). To enter into this New Operating System, the Lord revealed a series of rooms in a "Healthy Hope Center of Heaven" that we are invited to enter into together. The first room was the "Room of Rest." He is the Good Shepherd of Psalm 23 and it is He who leads us to rest and to a hope filled future. Exodus 33:14 And He said, "My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest."
Once we become centered in one focus in Him in the "Room of Rest," we are ready to enter the second room, the "Patriarchal Love Room" where He restores the 'ancient ruins' of the true knowledge of God as the Promise Keeper and the Luke 15 Patriarchal Father. This was shared in the "God of Hope Who Keeps His Promises" (to read this article click here). The God of Hope Who Keeps His Promises Bob recently shared an encounter where the Lord began to reveal His face as the Promise Keeper once again to the Body of Christ. Bob saw in this dream that in 2012 God was opening the door to this part of His nature, to His face as the Promise Keeper once again. The Lord showed him that it is of great importance that we know this face of God as the Promise Keeper because it will keep us in a place of trust and rest vs. striving in our flesh to complete the promises. At His Counsel Table, the Lord began speaking promises over our lives and promises for 2012, out of Isaiah 58:12: And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in. The Lord shared that He will speak to us on each of the four parts of this verse, but He spoke first of "rebuilding the ancient ruins of the knowledge of Him," not that He had been ruined, but rather that our perceptions of Him as the Promise Keeper had been devalued. He showed Bob that the Psalm 34:3-5 adoration was key to rebuilding His image in us in this time. Adoring the Lord together as the Promise Keeper and knowing the specific promises He has given us on all the mountains of life is the path of hope that leads us to deliverance, healing, and radiant hope that will shine bright on our faces for all to see. Psalm 34:3-5 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces will never be ashamed. God again is emphasizing Psalm 100:3-4 adoration, "entering His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise," focusing on the way adoration brings forth a healed and expanded view of Him as the Promise Keeper.
Now as the Promise Keeper and Good Shepherd, He is speaking to us now about the third promise of Isaiah 58:12 – the promise of repairing the breach, which is restoring the hope of our calling within us. He is the Promise Keeper who brings forth His promises and now the good shepherds who feed people on the knowledge of God, which will be described in the encounter below. The Encounter: Digging Up Good Shepherds/Repairing the Breach of the Hope of Our Calling Bob has had repeated dreams, with a reoccurrence about a week ago, of digging up gold with the Lord and as they dug, the gold turned into Jeremiah 3:15 good shepherds who would feed people with the true knowledge of God in all of life. To truly enter His hope and promises, and walk into a New Hope Filled Operating System and the promises of Isaiah 58:12, God is digging up His good shepherds who will lead us to our fields and areas of promise in rest. In the dream these good shepherds had to be unearthed, dug up. They had been buried in dirt and the dirt weighing them down had to be removed. As they were uncovered and raised up Bob saw these good shepherds restoring inheritance and repairing the breach in the hope of our calling in Him, which is the third promise of Isaiah 58:12. These good shepherds will feed people an expanded and healed view of God that will repair the breaches in our souls, fulfilling the promise that God, the Good Shepherd, will care for our souls. God is fulfilling specific promises for us in 2012 as we hope in Him and focus on His face as the redemptive, hopeful Promise Keeper in our lives. The good shepherds He is bringing forth, led by the true Good Shepherd will lead us from the Hosea 2:15 Valley of Achor through the door of hope, the hope of our calling in Him. A New Hope Filled Narrative: In the dream the Lord has a different perspective, a new narrative for us. There is a new narrative of hope breaking forth across the horizon of our lives in this time. God is changing the identity of people in this hour, taking them into an Isaiah 60 "arising and shining" with the light that has come to restore the hope narrative of our lives as He did with Esther who was a powerless orphan that He made into a queen and David who was the least of his family that He made into a shepherd king, after God's own heart. In the same way the Good Shepherd is restoring the hope filled narrative of our lives as well.
Daniel 12:3 Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of Heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. In this dream, Bob saw that God is giving the Body of Christ restored hopes, promises, and good shepherds who will not build their own kingdoms, but will build the Kingdom of God by building the kingdom of others unto Him. These good shepherds will not be those with a Nimrod Spirit who use people to build their own kingdom and actually steal the inheritance of the "hope of their calling" from others. These good shepherds will focus on repairing the breach of lost inheritance for others, and will not take their inheritance from them, but will enable them to walk into the fullness of the hope of their calling in Him. Acceleration by Association: Building the Wall of the Knowledge of God Together In this dream, good shepherds came together to repair the breach from Isaiah 58:12 and as they did, Bob saw that the Lord was giving back stones of people's inheritance through these good shepherds. We, as the Body of Christ, began using these stones to build a hope filled wall, moving away from the holes in our own wall working together to build one solid wall by helping others fulfill the hope of their calling. Then Bob watched as the Body of Christ began to take off and accelerate in a whole new way! God is giving us an "acceleration of the Kingdom through association," an acceleration of our hope filled purposes and callings that will happen as we move away from isolation and into the "healthy happy hope centers of community" where our souls will be cared for by good shepherds and the Good Shepherd, Himself. This is like Genesis 29:1-8 where the sheep cannot be watered until the shepherds come together to roll away the stone that covers the well. There is a struggle, in this, between isolation and community that we all wrestle with – a struggle that God revealed to Bob clearly in a dream about 1 Kings 18 and19, where Bob felt he was walking out the experiences of Elijah in 1 Kings 19, challenges that we, as the Body of Christ, are facing now. Dream of Elijah: In this dream, Bob had gone up the hill like Elijah in 1 Kings 18:20, to confront the Prophets of Baal on the top of Mount Carmel.
There at the top of the hill in the dream, the Body of Christ had a breakthrough in the knowledge of God. Right after this breakthrough, 1 Kings 19 happens and in the dream adversaries from the enemy come to Bob and to the Body of Christ, like they did to Elijah, in an attempt to create irrational fears within us that are not connected with reality and threatening us, even with death, right after a great breakthrough! Bob saw that this can often lead us into isolation, as it did with Elijah. Elijah Isolates Himself:1 Kings 19:2-3 Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, "So may the gods do to me and even more, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them (the prophets of Baal who died on Mt. Carmel) by tomorrow about this time." And he (Elijah) was afraid and arose and ran for his life and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there. For Elijah, it was Jezebel's threat that thrust him into a fear spiral where suddenly he wasn't able to see hope at all. He had just come through a major victory in 1 Kings 18 that released a multigenerational blessing, but he was not able to see it. All he could see was the lie that he was alone. The truth is, there were 7,000 others like him who had not bowed the knee to Baal, a truth which God spoke to him in I Kings 19:18, but still Elijah doesn't see it. 1 Kings 19:13-14 And a voice (of God) came to him and said, "What are you doing here, Elijah?" Then he said, "I have been very zealous for the LORD, the God of hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars and killed Your prophets with the sword. And I alone am left; and they seek my life, to take it away." The Prototype and New Come Together: For Bob, the adversary came with the threat of cancer while he was in Germany last year in an attempt to pound him into giving up, but God was showing Bob through this dream that he has a choice, as does the Body of Christ. We can choose to run and hide in a cave or we can choose associations of hope that build well together bringing about an acceleration of our purposes and a hope of our calling that does not stop short, but rather walks into the "riches of the glory of His inheritance" in our lives. We can choose the hopeful narrative for our lives as we choose to agree with the truth of God's hopeful perspective.
Ephesians 1:18-19 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling; what are the riches, of the glory, of His inheritance, in the saints; and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us, who believe. Declarations • God is changing our identity in this hour, calling us forth as hope filled reformers. •The Good Shepherd who cares for our souls will take us: • from despair to hope, •from isolation and fear to strong hope filled associations into communities full of hope, •from hope deferred to promises fulfilled, •from independence to good shepherds who step forth to feed people the expanded view of God as the Promise Keeper and as the Good Shepherd reveals His face within them. • God is bringing forth good shepherds who are Patriarchs and Matriarchs of Hope, to tell the hope filled narrative that God has woven into their lives. • Some are currently running on fumes, but as they declare their hope filled narratives and stories with one another, they will get stronger and stronger, feeding themselves and others on the hope of their calling and the testimony of His goodness. Conclusion By the end of the dream, Bob saw these ones filled with the strength of hope, carrying people who could not feed themselves into the presence of God, telling them how they have been set apart for a rich life. Bob saw the Hope Reformation coming forth in the presence of the Lord! In Revelation 12:11 it says that: They overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.
Bob saw that we would overcome by the word of our testimony, by telling these hopeful narratives that God has woven into our lives, by speaking the word of hope and life to each other, and by seeing the hopeful story of God in our lives and in the lives of others. We are invited to be those door openers for others, to open the door into the hope of their calling for them. In the dream, Bob saw that we must choose to walk into this hope filled narrative. As we do, God will restore our story, for He is the Good Shepherd who cares for our souls, who is repairing the breach of the hope of our calling. He is the Good Shepherd who is digging up the good shepherds here on Earth, the good shepherds that many of us are becoming. He is the Good Shepherd who turns melancholy hearts into merry hearts, restoring childlike hearts of faith, and bringing a voice of joy and triumph across the cities and nations of the Earth. Call To: 1. ADORE His face as the Promise Keeper in your life! Adoration, proclaiming the goodness of God, will bring you into His Presence where you will see His face as the Promise Keeper and Good Shepherd! 2. ASSOCIATE with others, come into the community of hope and be ACCELERATED together! 3. BE A GOOD SHEPHERD who seeks to restore lost inheritance, who seeks to repair the Isaiah 58:12 breach in the hope of their calling for others. 4. SEE AND SPEAK THE HOPE NARRATIVE in your own life, sharing the word of your testimony with each other. Bob HartleyDeeper Waters MinistryEmail: deeperwatersinc@gmail.com
Resist BY JEFF GODSOWN
Resist Resist, have you ever contemplated this word, it really doesn’t sound anything in the minds’ imagination, like it sounds, seriously think about it, without knowing its true meaning. RESIST, v.t. rezist'. [L. resisto; re and sisto, to stand.] 1. Literally, to stand against; to withstand; hence, to act in opposition, or to oppose. a dam or mound resists a current of water passively, by standing unmoved and interrupting its progress. An army resists the progress of an enemy actively, by encountering and defeating it. We resist measures by argument or remonstrance. 2. To strive against; to endeavor to counteract, defeat or frustrate. 3. To baffle; to disappoint. RESIST', v.i. to make opposition. Explanation 1) To build a wall of stones; sounds familiar, King David said in Psalm 51 Lord repair the stones of these walls, and God calls us stones. Explanation 2) To put up a shield, to belay attempts at aggressive forward movement, that sounds a lot like what we are to use the shield of faith for.
Explanation 3) This is my favorite, for as much as we’re to be stones in a wall, a wall that frustrates the devil, because of all the various reasons the church is out of order, to many times we must stand alone in the battle. Nowhere in any games rules written for any battle in any time frame, does it declare, we have need to inform our enemy of our next or future moves. Did you know that when you do not act or respond as an opponent has contemplated or thought out with an expected end, you throw their whole offense off and ever frustrate their defenses? You have just baffled the enemy, when you continue in this fashion, you bring disappointment to them and their camp, you throw them off guard. The devil being the highest ranking oppositional enemy, stops to go back to the table and rethink his strategies, you have made him flee. H7853 śâṭan saw-tan' BDB Definition: A primitive root; to 1) (Qal) to be or act as an adversary, resist, oppose (figuratively) accuse By us not doing things to an expected end, via satan’s thoughts, we resist him. We resist him by not falling prey, falling down and or complying with him, thus changing the focus and service of worship, from the Lord God, to that of satans’desires So wearing the helmet of salvation in remembrance of the cost and price that was paid for our salvation. Having on the breastplate of righteousness, not of our doing, but holding fast to it with the proper God given integrity, of walking in the truth of God’s Word, that God can brag on us like He did with Job. Carrying the shield of faith, the faith that we continually speak out loud over ourselves, in the battle to resist the devil and with sword in hand and mouth, we fight. Wrapped in the girding belt of God’s truth around our loins, we can stand in perfect peace in the battle, knowing the battle is the Lord’s, because we speak our Lord in the battle, the Word of God, unto victory. We win, because the Lord has already won, but we must remember, we are the ones who have to fight the good fight of faith.
So if we stand for God’s truth, speaking it out in the battle and confrontational situations, not only is our faith built up, but we are doing correctly, according to God’s Word. After having done all to stand in that which we have spoken, God’s truth, God’s Word, then we must continue to stand on His Word, stand in faith. God’s Word will accomplish that which it was designed and sent to do, without failure, sometimes we just need to stand a little longer. Given though the fact that God said He would not give us more than we can bear, He gave us a means of escape, not in falling to the sin, but in crying out. There is where the Spirit of God steps in and sets the story straight, according to His Word. Let us move forward, get God’s truth and God’s living Word in us and fight the good fight of faith, in faith, see what God will do. He most assuredly will come through for you, and for Himself. God bless you, now that you’ve learned this and have chosen to fight God’s way!
BEING ORDAINED ON EARTH – WOMEN: BY APOSTLE JESSIE STRIGGLES
Being Ordained on earth is ONLY confirming what GOD HAS DONE IN HEAVEN!! That is because the WORLD wants confirmation. WE MUST SUBJECT OURSELVES TO THE LAW OF THE LAND!! God called you before the foundation of the world; he knew you before you were formed in your mother's womb. You were created beautifully and wonderfully in God's eyes. HERE IT IS THOUGH!!!! You have gone to many churches & believe that God has called you out to start your own Ministry - a Ministry unto the Lord. The problem is you are not happy the way you look - you do NOT love yourself. This is why so many believe they must be covered by makeup, beautiful clothes and wigs. There is something inside of you that makes you think that God made a mistake in the making of you. NOW IT'S TIME TO BE ORDAINED ON EARTH!!!! YOUR NATURAL HAIR, CLEAN FACE AND PLAIN CLOTHES - GREAT HUMILITY & BROKENESS IS REQUIRED!!!! We can NOT pour oil on a wig. We must pour the oil on your scalp until it runs like David. God is ANOINTING YOU AGAIN ON EARTH BY HIS SERVANT BY THE POURING OF OIL ON YOUR SCALP. NO MAKEUP because the oil should run.
You don't want to look like a clown when the oil hits the makeup & runs down on your clothes - that material where the oil will NOT come out of. Ordination on Earth services as it has been done in Heaven - we need to see GREAT HUMILITY, BROKENESS BEFORE THE LORD. AWESOME PRAISE & WORSHIP UNTO THE LORD BECAUSE OF HE IS ELEVATING YOU. THIS IS NOT A WALK THE RUNWAY, SHOWTIME AT THE APOLLO; NOR SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. Please WOG - if you are ready to be Ordained on Earth - there should be an OBVIOUS difference in you from the world. If the person ordains you anyway - they are out of order in the eyes of God they are responsible for whatever you do and that is scary. They also - have the right to ask you questions in open forum - they can even ask people to speak about you as they know you. I am just giving you the heads up!!!! I am talking about the Servants of God that are doing Ordinations the right way; oppose to just giving you papers - no matter what they heard about you. WHEN I WAS IN THE WORLD - I DRESSED AS THE WORLD; NOW THAT I HAVE COME FULLY TO GOD - THE WORLD HAD TO COME OUT OF ME!!!!! Final word - THE ANOINTING MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL!!!! from the desk of AJS

Oprah Winfrey: ‘I Am a Christian’ 2:20PM EDT 4/26/2012 Jennifer LeClaire
Oprah Winfrey Although she’s created a firestorm among believers in the past by suggesting that Jesus is not the only way, Oprah Winfrey is now boldly confessing Christ. Twice during her “Oprah’s Lifeclass: The Tour” broadcast on Monday, Winfrey aligned herself with Christianity. Winfrey started by introducing the show to her Radio City Music Hall audience. The theme: “Spiritual Solutions.” The teacher: New Age guru Deepak Chopra. “I am not talking about religion. I am a Christian. That is my faith. I'm not asking you to be a Christian. If you want to be one I can show you how. But it is not required. I have respect for all faiths. All faiths. But what I'm talking about is not faith or religion.
I'm talking about spirituality,” Winfrey said. Winfrey said her definition of spirituality is living life with an open heart, through love, and allowing yourself to align with the values of tolerance, acceptance, of harmony, of cooperation and reverence for life. She said she believes there is a divine thread that connects spiritually to something greater than ourselves. “My favorite Bible verse—because I am Christian—is Acts 17:28. It says, ‘In God I live and move and have my being’,” Winfrey said. “And you want to know why I'm so successful? Because I knew that at 4 years-old … I wouldn't be who I am today without a spiritual consciousness, without spiritual values and ultimately without spiritual love.” Although some are still criticizing Winfrey, The Black Christian News Network (BCNN) is standing in defense of the sincerity of her confession: “Now we know that some people are going to doubt Oprah's profession of faith in Christ and some are going to say negative things about this because she has different people of different faiths on her show and so forth. But before you Pharisees say all of that, please understand that OWN is not a Christian network. It is a network for all people. OWN is Oprah's business, and we as Christians know what that is like when you're doing business in a secular world. So Oprah's business side is going to be different, but it does not take anything away from her faith in Christ.” BCNN thanked the likes of Stedman Graham, Tyler Perry, T.D. Jakes and others who wisely encouraged Winfrey and coached her on how to make her public profession of faith in Christ before the world. “We believe that Oprah's true ‘next chapter’ is to finish her life leading millions to the Christ that saved her,” BCNN wrote. “We want to encourage all Christians to pray for Oprah as she grows in her faith in Christ.”
The Gift of a Word of Knowledge: Be Obedient! ADDED BY SUSAN C. CLARK
I was involved in a prophetic experience that I think has some great lessons. It happened when I was flying our ministry plane to Nashville with some of our musicians to do some recording. After taxiing to the General Aviation ramp, a line woman directed us to a parking spot. After we deplaned, the wife of one of our musicians said to the line woman as she walked past her, "You get along with animals better than you do people – you should have been a vet." The line woman looked stunned, and I couldn't help wondering if this had insulted her. Our team left with their ride, which had been waiting to take them to the recording studio. Before I left, I gave my fuel order at the service desk when the line woman came in and blurted out, "Was that woman with you a psychic?" I said, "No, but why do you ask?" She told me that when she was parking our plane she was thinking about how she gets along better with animals than she does people and that she should have become a vet. That's when the musician's wife spoke to her. It was just a small terminal, and this conversation was so loud that everyone in the terminal looked intently at us.
I explained how this lady was a Christian, and how Christ loves all people and has a plan for their lives, and sometimes He gives His servants information like this about them to confirm His will for their life. The line woman was deeply moved and resolved to take seriously that she was "called" to be a vet and to pursue it. Then the other employees and passengers in the terminal started asking if this woman was coming back, and could they get a message like this? This led to a lot of ministry in the terminal over the next few months as we went back and forth for this recording. At that time, we had not set up prophetic ministry teams, but if we had, I would have sent a team over to park in that terminal for as long as there was an opening for ministry. This helped us see the need for this, and now we can be more responsive. The Holy Spirit Is the "Helper," Not the "Doer" Almost every such opening that has led to a lot of fruit was the result of someone just stepping out and taking initiative. We must keep in mind that the Holy Spirit is the "Helper," not the "Doer." He will not do anything without us, and we should not want to do anything without Him. Faith is basically the willingness to take initiative even when you may not know the exact outcome. This is why true faith is not faith in an outcome, but in the Person we put our trust in. We must seek to simply do the will of the Lord, and not just seek results, because results can be very different than we're expecting. The same miracle that has a great impact in one place may not have any in another place, just as we see in the Lord's own ministry. You may be thinking that you would love to be able to hear that clearly from the Lord and touch other people like this young lady did. The truth is you can, and you possibly already do but just don't realize it. We get impressions from the Lord but think they are our own imagination, or something else, and don't act on them. Many who come to our Prophetic Equipping Conferences who leave hearing from the Lord realize they have been hearing from Him for a long time but did not recognize Him. We can't give people prophetic gifts, but we can help them recognize and stir up the gifts that they've been given. Every Christian has the ability to know the voice of the Lord.
Stirring a city with a word of knowledge like Jesus did through the woman at the well, or like Philip the evangelist in Acts 8, would be wonderful. It is obvious that Philip was using the gift of a word of knowledge because we're told in Acts 8 that the people gave attention to him because of the miracles that they "heard and saw." Then Philip was commanded by the Spirit to leave such a great revival and go into the desert to share the Gospel with just one man – the Ethiopian eunuch. That an evangelist, who all seem to thrive on crowds, would be this obedient is almost as much of a miracle as him being translated afterward. However, hundreds of years later when explorers first entered Ethiopia they were astonished to find that the Christian faith had preceded them. We won't know until eternity how many were led to salvation by Philip's obedience and neither could Philip. The point is that we cannot judge the fruit here – we must just focus on obedience to the Holy Spirit. A single word of knowledge might stir a city, a general aviation terminal, or just one person, and the one person could bring more fruit than the others combined. Be obedient. HOW TO ANOINT YOUR HOUSE: TIM BENITEZ
HOW TO ANONT YOUR HOUSE when you feel much confusion, when you feel inadequate, when you feel numb, when you see much conflict, when you seem to have no or suffering from loss of identity or no purpose, and it all rushes in on you, when you have crazy headaches physically, and much chaos, kids acting up more than usual and division in your home, and you are restless, or even smell sulfur as crazy as that sounds,THEN YOU KNOW YOU ARE UNDER DEMONIC ATTACK! THIS HAS TO BE BROKEN ONLY THROUGH SPIRITUAL WARFARE NOT CARNAL,USUALLY THIS IS A SPIRIT OF WITCHCRAFT AND THIS ONLY CAN BE BROKEN BY ANOINTING AND WARFARE BINDING AND LOOSENING,IF YOU TRY ANY OTHER WAY IT WILL NOT BREAK IT ONLY THROUGH ANOINTING AND GETTING INTO REAL SPIRITUAL WARFARE, THE DEVIL IS A LIAR!!! BREAK THIS FOUL SPIRIT IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE!! DON'T GIVE INTO VAIN IMAGINATIONS!! ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE ANY OF THE ABOVE!! Exodus 12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.This is the example for cleansing your house, also the children of Israel put the commandments in a little box on the main entrance of their homes to make a proclamation and also as a reminder of when the death Angel passed over Egypt and struck the Firstborn
12:12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. The Death of the Firstborn was part of the curses of Deuteronomy 28 also the Blessings are listed there, 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. 12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever. This is the Scriptures used for a Spiritual house cleansing. The First thing is to do a self examination and get yourself in line with the Lord,Repent of anything you have done wrongfully, it helps while doing this to soak your house with Praise, the scripture below is what we use for this: 1 Kings 8:9 There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt. In this scripture a covenant was made, we also through Christ have a covenant and his blood covers us, 8:10 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, This cloud was the Manifested Presence of the Lord, the reason we anoint our house is we want the Presence of the Lord in our house, He will not share His Glory with anything else, the reason we don't stay in His presence is we don't create the atmosphere He desires but fill the Atmosphere with unclean things and unholy things and Idols 8:11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD. 8:12 Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness. 8:13 I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.we need to build in our hearts and minds a place for the Lord to dwell in and vain imaginations, and unclean thoughts and Idols can't be there or His presence won't be there, in our hearts and ins and homes and Ministries The Following Scriptures is for your study: 1 Kings 8:1 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto king Solomon in Jerusalem, that they might bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which is Zion. This represents for your personal house the Spiritual leaders starting with the Husband then the Wife or whoever is the Leader but in cases where the Husband isn't doing right with the Lord the wife can do this,(as long as she is not coming against her Husbands headship)
8:2 And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month. 8:3 And all the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.The Ark represents the Presence of the Lord where the commandments are in our case their in our hearts 8:4 And they brought up the ark of the LORD, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, even those did the priests and the Levites bring up. 8:5 And king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel, that were assembled unto him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be told nor numbered for multitude. 8:6 And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims. 8:7 For the cherubims spread forth their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above. 8:8 And they drew out the staves, that the ends of the staves were seen out in the holy place before the oracle, and they were not seen without: and there they are unto this day. 8:9 There was nothing in the ark save the two tables of stone, which Moses put there at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt. 8:10 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, 8:11 So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD. 8:12 Then spake Solomon, The LORD said that he would dwell in the thick darkness. 8:13 I have surely built thee an house to dwell in, a settled place for thee to abide in for ever. you put on Praise Music then you pray and do a self examination to see if you have any doors you have opened, Repent for anything that comes to your attention, prepare yourself, then after that anoint yourself with anointing oil, it helps if while you are doing this others are praying with and for you, then start at the Main entrance of your home apply the oil on each side of door which represents the entrance way and the door post is where the children of Israel was commanded to apply the blood, so you do all door ways after the main entrance then each room in your house make sure you cover all rooms even bathrooms, when doing this command any unclean spirits to leave if you now them call them out here's some ( Profanity, Perversion, seduction, lying, deception, unholy, unclean, adultery, Idolatry, Fornication, witchcraft, sorcery, Rebellion, anger, bitterness, fear, anxiety, depression, rejection, and whatever comes to your spirit)
If you don't know any of these just command Satan and every unclean unholy spirit out and ask the Lord to surround your house and fill your house with Ministering Angels and a protection hedge, after doing this don't give into any vain imaginations or bad thoughts but it's up to you to keep the right atmosphere in your mind, heart, and house. any way of entry by letting unclean things in will bring back more than you had, I pray this Blesses you and keeps you in Gods presence, Apostle Tim and Rhonda Fishermen Ministries easy-fishing-net.com ( Silver Springs, Florida ) Fishermenministry90@yahoo.com
