It is with a grateful heart to God and our inspired contributors that we are able to bring you another edition of the Shepherds magazine. We bless God for His faithfulness. There are a lot that should have been accomplished this month but due to unforeseen circumstances; we are late because of unpaid bills. Yet; CONTRARY TO THE DESIRE OF Satan and His Agents we are victorious once more. I had no doubt that the will of God would prevail in all things concerning His mandate. Well to cut the long story short; here we are praising God for empowering us to distribute His Word to the very ends of the earth. This month we could not bring the following features; but hopefully we will bring them in our next edition. 1. Our Spanish session, Our Youth Session; 3. Our books chapters review. Be rest assure we will make up as soon as possible. Meanwhile we are appealing to our writers to please help us to translate their work in Spanish (IF POSSIBLE) besides English for the next editions.

We are also appealing to any cheerful giver to help us in any way you can. What ever the situation; The Shepherds Magazine will always be free of charge. As you can see we are highly bless to begin implementing some changes which are to upgrade the quality of our magazine. Karen Zeigler

who has been working tirelessly to upgrade the quality of our publications is responsible for this improvement. When you pray, do pray for the work of her hands to be blessed. Recant or DIE! BY KENNETH WHITE

I was in some meetings in Ukraine back in 2004 and met a lot of interesting people. In one church service I met Ivan, a man in his early 80`s who walked with a limp. I enquired through an interpreter about the nature of Ivan`s limp. And now for the rest of the story. Ivan was a soldier in the Russian army in 1943 at the age of 19, and fighting the Germans in a death struggle for his homeland of Ukraine. During some intense fighting, Ivan was shot in the calf of his right leg. He was transported to a Soviet army field hospital where the bullet was removed from his leg and dressed it to stop the bleeding and heal the wound. A few days later some Soviet secret police were going through his personal belongings and found a small Bible Ivan kept for studying the scriptures. Religion was outlawed in Russia and it meant the death penalty to own a Bible or to openly confess Jesus as Lord and Savior. The head of the secret police brought the Bible to Ivan in his hospital bed and questioned him about his posession of something outlawed by the Communist`s regime in power. Ivan explained he got the Bible from a friend and kept it to read for it gave him comfort during the long times on the battlefield. The police were furious and began to curse Ivan, and eventually began to beat his wounded leg with their fists, sticks, and then threw him on the floor and continually stomped his injured leg for believing in Jesus Christ and possessing a forbidden book, the Bible. After several days of beatings, which caused gangrene to set in, he was given the chance to recant his belief in Jesus Christ, and that the Bible was a false book written by the duped Christians in America and England. Ivan said

" I cannot deny my Lord and Savior nor will I speak against the greatest book ever written, the Bible. He was threatened again with death if he did not recant his faith in Jesus. He still refused, trusting in the Lord who was able to save his soul. By this time his right leg had to be removed below the knee because of gangrene. The police drew up a confession of him denying Jesus existance and the Bible is phony. He was brought before the police and commanded to sign the confession that his belief in Jesus was a hoax, and once done, he would be free to go home in Ukraine. Ivan read the confession note and then put it back in front of the police leader saying " I cannot deny my Lord no matter what you do to me". The police were furious and ordered Ivan to be sent to prison labor camps in Siberia, a very rough and bitterly cold part of Russia where political prisoners were sent and very few came back alive. Ivan was going to his death sentence in a bitter cold place where he would die. Eight long years went by, and Ivan survived by the Grace of God. He was released to go home in Ukraine, but he was followed and watched by the Russian KGB for 30 years. American smugglers would smuggle Bibles to him at night and he would keep them in his attic and distribute them to the known Christians in his home village. At night children would sneak into his home and he would teach them stories about Jesus and God from the scriptures. One day, a black KGB car pulled up in front of his small home and the head KGB agent entered his house, suspecting Ivan was hiding Bibles(which he was in his attic). The officer saw a rope hanging from the ceiling and pulled on it and a ladder to upstairs came down. The officer, in a clean uniform, started up the steps to see what was hidden up there. There was a lot of dust and dirt that got on the officers uniform which irritated him. He came down the ladder without seeing what was hidden up there because he didn`t want to get his uniform dirty. A couple of years later, the Americans under President Reagan and the Soviet Union under Michail Ghorbochov reached a new missles treaty but not before Reagan demanded the Russians give their people freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Ghorbochov agreed to this and thus after almost 70 years there was religious freedom in the Soviet Union.

Ivan survived this ordeal because of his faith in Jesus Christ. He did not have a pastor, youth leader, church board or elders to comfort him. He had no fellowship except with the Lord Jesus Christ. He overcame by perseverance with the Lord. He now walks to church every time the door is open, lightly limping with a wooden leg which was fitted on him. Hes has a look of joy on his face because he lost a leg for Jesus Christ. Ivan was a faithful soldier of the Lord. Below is a picture of Ivan and me with his right pants leg pulled up to reveal his prize; his wooden leg from the Lord. He is a true maryter for the Lord. He shed blood for Jesus and the age of 19. I wonder how many young people have this kind of relationship with the Lord in order to withstand the torture he went through. I wonder about me sometimes, whether I could stand up to this test...

Bewitched : BY JEFF GODSOWN

A couple of nights ago, I had a series of running dreams, these dreams brought me to God’s throne, seeking to understand, and now I must share! Being a Marine, knowing that lives are on the line in any battlefield, one phrase plays over and over, "leave no man behind”. I stood and watched as leadership kept sending people into the battlefield, and they were being killed and destroyed, over and over again. I asked the Lord why is this going on, and this is what He said; "they were not told the truth of My Word, nor the power contained within that truth. They have not been properly taught how to use the weapons of warfare I provided for them, nor have they been taught the true wisdom and understanding of My Word, that they might live.” This makes for a scary situation, if you have ever been on a real battlefield, faced with certain death, you cannot know or understand what I’m saying. If I give you a rifle, in pieces, but I do not give you the schematics of how to put that rifle together, what good is that weapon? If I had you a clip or magazine that is empty, and I hand you ammunition, but no instructions, will you know how to load the clip with the ammo? If I do not teach you how to attach that clip and how to aim and shoot to kill your enemy, what good is your weapon? If I do not teach you the truth of how to ~~~, will you live long enough in the battle, to figure it out for yourself? Hopefully for those who have never been faced with this situation, you have a better idea of what I’m talking about. In this dream, subordinate leadership kept getting killed in the battle, and mostly by friendly fire, could it be because they weren’t properly prepared? Yes! It was then that leadership came to me and gave me orders to give to others, who would become the sacrifices of Molech. Lev 18:21

And thou shalt not let any of thy zera pass through [the eish, i.e., be sacrificed and burned or cremated] to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the Shem Eloheicha; I am Hashem. Mo'lech. (king). The fire-god, Molech, was the tutelary deity of the children of Ammon, and essentially, identical with the Moabitish Chemosh. Fire-gods appear to have been common to all the Canaanite, Syrian and Arab tribes, who worshipped the destructive element under an outward symbol, with the most inhuman rites. As someone who was a leader in the Marines, I could not send men into a battle, knowing full well they would not return, if they did not have the proper training. I refused leaderships request to send them forth, they had not been properly taught the truth of how to use their weapons of God. The truth of the matter is simple, the traditions of men have replaced truth, and this has caused a major disruption in the battle, some running in fear, some being killed on the field, and some being injured, badly enough to leave, never to return. This brothers and sisters, is not God’s way, and never His intent! To know to do good and not do it is a sin in God’s eyes, we cannot keep walking in the traditions of man, ignoring God’s truth of His Word, and expect to be over comers or accepted. Jer 4:22 For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. Recently, some of us have watched and been amazed at the level of ignorance displayed by so called believers, who make declarations based on men’s understanding, rather than God’s wisdom. We have seen how seriously they defend what their beliefs are, based on who and what they were taught, and this isn’t a good thing. People cannot continue to step into battle, not being taught the truth and the power of the truth of God’s Word, and yet, they still argue. God calls these souls; SOT'TISH, a. 1. Dull; stupid; senseless; doltish; very foolish. How ignorant are sottish pretenders to astrology! 2. Dull with intemperance.

God says they’re a people without understanding, wise only to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. Me personally, I do not want to hear, depart from Me you worker of iniquity, and that’s pretty much what’s it’s going to boil down to, if we don’t get off our high horses. In the beginning, God made man to be in His image and likeness, but since the fall of mankind, man has tried to change God and His ways into man’s ways and image. God doesn’t change, and we need to grasp strong and relentless hold of this fact, before it’s too late. We need to be a people unified, demand God’s truth and not man’s suppositions, for if man changes what God declares and each man a different thing, how can there be unity? God’s Word is clear and not offensive, except to this sin nature that remains in us. We need to seek God for His truth, we need to study His Word, not just accept what is being spoken from the pulpit, and we need to seek the truth, through the Holy Spirit. In the book of 1st John, God’s Word tells us plainly, the Holy Spirit will teach us truth and no lie. Stop all the incessant arguing for what you know nothing about, get into God’s Word, and the presence of the Holy Spirit, and seek the truth of the matter. This not only gives you great ability to discern, but prepares you properly for the battle. It’s time we as believers, fought the good fight with the right tools and weapons, and took back the kingdom of God, with a proper eternal mindset. Mat 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. When you step out in faith and do what God said to do, watch the real blessing that come only from God flow down over your lives. Grab hold and hold fast to God’s truth, you will never be left hanging, or die on the battlefield as an unknown soldier! Now do this and be blessed, Amen! Stop being bewitched!

WHY DIDN'T YOUR MARRIAGE WORK?????? BY APOSTLE JESSIE STRIGGLES

LACK OF COMMUNICATION WITH EACH OTHER. YOU WERE TALKING ALRIGHT WITH THAT BUSYBODY THAT WOULD NOT REST UNTIL YOUR MARRIAGE WAS OVER!!!! Now just like them - you are all alone!!! She was your best friend, your confidant - child we tell each other everything. NO BOO!!!! You couldn't see the jealousy in her eyes when she came around you & your husband. BUT YOU HAD TO GO THERE - YOU HAD TO TELL HER ALL OF EVERY DETAIL. Your marriage should have been a 3-cord marriage between you, God & him; not you, her and him. So he made a mistake -so what. He got it a litle twisted - so what!!! Your marriage couldn't work once she got into it. You didn't even want to continue the coversation - your marriage!!!! that is all she wanted to talk about!! Girl he did what? I am telling you right now, I wouldn't take that for a second. No they took more than that; just didnt tell you - best friend, confidant. PLEASE!!!!!! Everyday - did you talk to him yet, what did he say, girl what did he say, what are you going to do????? Well you got to do something; because if I was you - I would leave him, or yes honey - he would have to go> EVERYDAY IN YOUR SILLY EAR UNTIL YOU TOOK THE PILL!!! You couldn't see that green-eye monster envying your life with him. He just gave up trying to talk to you - NO COMMUNICATION!!! Girlfriend, confidant wasn't having it.

Though - he never stopped loving you & trying to reconcile - your girlfriend stopped you everytime - even though you still loved him. OK LET ME STOP PLAYING WITH THIS THING & LET THE HAMMER DOWN ON WHY DIDN'T YOUR MARRIAGE WORK???? SHE SLEPT WITH HIM BOOOOOOOOOMMMMM THERE IT IS!!!!!

final word - she loved the way he loved you - she had never had that. Now you are both alone looking for love in the wrong places. A GENIUNE LOVE COMES ONCE IN A LIFETIME!!!! from the desk of AJS

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5 KJV If you are in a night of trial, think of tomorrow; cheer your heart with the thought of the coming of the Lord. Be patient, for "He comes with clouds descending.” Be patient! The Husbandman waits until He reaps His harvest. Be patient, for you know who has said, "Behold, I come quickly, and my rewards is with me, to give to every man according as his work shall be.” Your head may be crowned with thorny troubles now, but it shall wear a starry crown before long; your hand may be filled with cares—it shall sweep the strings of the harps of heaven soon. Your garment may be soiled with dust now; they shall be white in a short time. Wait a little longer. How despicable our trouble and trials will seem when we look back upon them! Looking at them presently, they seem immense; but when we get to heaven, we shall then "with transporting joy recount the labors of our feet.” Our trials will then seem light and momentary afflictions. Let us go on boldly; after the dark of the night the morning comes, which is more than they can say who are shut up in the darkness of hell. Do you know what it is to live in the future—to live on expectation—to antedate heaven? It may be dark now, but it will soon be light; it may be all the trial now, but it will soon be all happiness. What does it matter if "weeping may endure for a night,” when joy comes in the morning”? The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me. Psalm 138:8 NIV

The confidence that the psalmist expressed was a divine confidence. His dependence was on the Lord alone. The psalmist was wise; he rested upon nothing short of the Lord’s work. It is the Lord who has begun the good work within us; it is He who has carried it on, and if He does not finish it, it never will be complete. If there be on stitch in the celestial garment of our righteousness that we are to insert ourselves, then we are lost; but this is our confidence: The Lord who began will perfect. He has done it all, must do it all, and will do it all. Our confidence must not be in what we have done nor in what we have resolved to do, but entirely in what the Lord will do. Unbelief insinuates: "You will never be able to stand. Look at the evil of your heart; you can never conquer sin. Remember the sinful pleasure and temptations of the world that beset you; you will be certainly allured by them and led astray.” Yes, we should indeed perish if left to our own strength. But thanks be to God, He will perfect that which concerns us and bring us to the desired heaven. We can never be too confident when we confide in Him alone and never too much concerned to have such a trust. Amen. Reflections: I don’t know about you, but I long and desire the Lord to captivate my heart and establish there His throne. When we learn to totally depend on the Lord alone for our joy and strength to face everyday trials we are more than conquers we are over comers. Because we have allowed our Lord God to create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us we have the VICTORY. Just knowing that our Lord God will perfect all that concerns me/us gives me a hope and that my/our future is in His hand. Amen! Glory Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Monday, July 9, 2012 THE EXCRUCIATING PULL ! Webster's Dictionary Definition of Excruciating: 1. Causing intense physical or mental pain; agonizing. 2. Intense or extreme (with excruciating attention to detail) My mother was blessed to have a powerful mantle of Yahweh placed upon her life, and from a teenager seeing the power of God in demonstration made me afraid. She would see visions and dreams, which made me shudder. Then when she revealed the call of Yahweh was upon my life. I felt the excruciating pull ! I did not want to yield. In contrast read of Jesus' experience, even though He willingly took on human flesh to take your place and mine. When He felt the actual weight of you and I (our sins). He cried out from Luke 22:42, " Saying Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me, nevertheless not My will but Yours be done. " Jesus Christ felt the excruciating pull. Aren't you glad He said never the less ? Take note. Jesus was in deep prayer, praying fervently to His Father.

During one split second of feeling like abandoning His assignment. He said, never the less not my will but Yours be done. This is when Jesus Christ won the battle in the spiritual realm ! Verse (43) " Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. " (44) " And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground. " Yet Jesus became even more focused on the purpose for which He had come into the world; to redeem you and I back to Yahweh. Yes. In spite of the excruciating pull. Read what He said to His disciples, who were so sorrowful, they had fallen asleep. (45) " When He rose up from prayer, and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow. " (46) " Then He said to them, " Why do you sleep ? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation. "

In your daily walk with Yahweh. Has it been quite a journey ? As you seek for the deeper things of God; Are you now feeling the excruciating pull ? The pull to walk worthy of the vocation you are called to ? The pull to partake of a table filled with bribes ? The pull to become self sufficient ? The pull to become a part of lies and deception ? What about the excruciating pull to conform to Religion, when Yahweh has given to you a mandate to do Kingdom assignments ? Oh the pain of being mashed out ! Being tried and found guilty in the courts of men, yet being innocent ! Verse 47) " And while He was still speaking, behold a multitude, and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss Him. " (48) " But Jesus said to him, " Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss ?" Pay careful attention. While you are feeling the excruciating pull, you must not retaliate. For you will discover like Jesus did that it is often times those closet to you, who will betray, and persecute you the most. Read on. (49) " When those around Him saw what was going to happen, they said to Him, " Lord, shall we strike with the sword ? " Question is. Are you and I quick to fight ? Read for yourself how Jesus responded to this situation from verse (50) " And one of them struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear. " (51) " But Jesus answered and said, " Permit even this. " And He touched his ear and healed him. " Jesus knew this was not a flesh and blood fught. You and I must always be mindful, that we are in a battle, but not against each other.

It is a spiritual battle. Ephesians 6:12 warns " For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. " Even in the midst of the excruciating pull. recognize there is a brutal battle with the kingdom of darkness to destroy the purpose of God, and His call on your life. You and I must follow Jesus' example, with the full assurance of His word from 1 John 4:4 " You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. " Now I am not afraid of Yahweh's call any more. I now look with great expectancy to see His Word in demonstration; and now realize that God is still speaking to you and I through visions and dreams. The excruciating pull will usher you to your place of destiny; if you surrender all of self will to Abba Father like Jesus did as he prayed in the garden of Gethsemane........I hear His words again " Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me, nevertheless not My will but Yours be done. " May Yahweh strengthen you to withstand the excruciating pull to go contrary to His divine will and purpose for your life. Be encouraged !

The early disciples believed they were living in the last days and greeted one another declaring "Maranatha!" Was their doctrine wrong? If they believed they were living in the last days, then even chronologically we are further along the spectrum of time than they! Maranatha! V. When the Spirit Comes With Power A. What Makes Jesus Message of the Kingdom So Powerful Yet So Misunderstood? BY DR. LEONARD ROBINSON

We have had centuries of religion tell us what Jesus said and what Jesus meant. We had the Catholic Church, then the Protestants and every denomination and non-denominational group since the death of the early Apostolic fathers proceed to offer one type of exegesis and apologetics in an effort to explain Christianity and un iformally they miss either by intention or just plain omission, the central focus of Jesus preaching regarding the Kingdom of God. Depending on how your were trained in Christianity will to a great degree color the way you see Jesus, His mission and His message. How many times did Jesus preach salvation and in what context did He preach it? The word salvation is used in the Bible from Genesis to Maps (lol) 169 x in 158 verses, some say 163 times the word salvation is written. Comparitively the word Kingdom is only mentioned 106 x in the NIV, and 132 in the New Testament overall.

Some say that the words Kingdom of God and Kingdom of heaven total 142 x in 101 verses and it is therefore concluded that because the word "salvation is used more, somehow the words or terms Kingdom or Kingdom of God or of Heaven or of Christ indicates that salvation was the central message of Jesus, and not the Kingdom of God as Jesus own words about His own message and purpose seem to indicate. No one can take away from me the fact that I met Jesus (metaphorically) or should I say supernaturally in my apartment on New Years Eve 1982. It was supernatural. The experience was divine and Jesus neither said anything to me about the Kingdom of God nor did He use the word salvation. Jesus simply said this: "This New Years Eve bring it in on your knees". That is absolutely all that He said and all I could do is obey. Up until that time I was steeped in sin and the vices that make sin what sin is. And here comes Jesus interrupting a phone conversation to give me an instruction about what He wants me to do and at this point in time I didn't think I knew Him at all, certainly not enough for Him to be giving me instruction. Jesus did not use the word salvation nor did He use the word Kingdom but he got me saved based on my obedience to His instruction and my confession of faith. Since that time which is more than 20 years ago I have learned that Jesus came preaching a very specific message and He came first preaching it to the Jews, for salvation was of the Jesus, and that message He preached to them was, "Repent for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand." All evangelical Christianity knows is the gospel of salvation. So if you are not talking the gospel of salvation and that is all they know, you certainly can't tell them that Jesus came preaching a message that preceded the gospel of salvation called the gospel of the Kingdom, and for that reason,

Jesus said He must preach the gospel of the Kingdom to other cities also for thereunto He has been sent. In John 4 Jesus says to the woman at the well, Salvation is of the Jews. Now when you examine what brought the Jews salvation you discover that it was the preaching of the Kingdom of God and of heaven. Why is there such misunderstanding and debate? Religion like misery loves to keep company. It is hard to embrace the simplicity of the gospel of the Kingdom when for years we were taught that the gospel of salvation is what we are to preach. So how dare someone come along now and say that we were all wrong. Well I never say that we were all wrong. I do say that we were all incomplete. When you understand line by line the preached message of Jesus and you begin to see that He preached the Kingdom more than He preached anything else, then perhaps you will see that the Kingdom Jesus preached is what brought salvation to man, and the salvation men enjoy today was because the Kingdom is because through the New Birth the Kingdom now takes up residency on the inside of each and everyone of us. If you are Born Again then righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost are present in you now. The Spirit of truth, the unction you've received from the Holy One is also present within you but even the Spirit of Truth cannot help you if you are prideful, stubborn, stiff-necked and operating out of a hardness of heart. Why isn't the Kingdom message understood by some, even those that would claim to be Apostles? Having studied it if they have, they didn't really understand what they studied, and on the other hand, having studied the Kingdom of God they didn't believe.

Evangelical Christianity means well but has stunted the growth, certainly the spiritual growth of the Body of Christ. Whole denominations subvert hearers while they preach their brand of Christianity which for them is safe. No believer is to preach any erroneous theology and we who are called as leaders must certainly shoulder the responsibility of preaching the truth in the face of heresy. Why is the message Jesus preached concerning the Kingdom of God so misunderstood? For many in leadership they have been blinded by the religion of Christianity and in a scripture sling fest have misinterpreted basic truths and oppose themselves. Bring a note pad, an ink pen and a childlike teachable heart and mind to embrace all that Jesus said and did pertaining to the Kingdom of God. Those who received the Kingdom of God when Jesus preached it repented and became followers of Jesus. Because the word salvation is used more than the word Kingdom in no way presents that Jesus central message was salvation and not Kingdom. Very specifically Jesus says over and over again the Kingdom is as, the Kingdom is as, I must go and preach the Kingdom and so on. Can’t See the Wonder for the Worries BY KAREN ZEIGLER

Isn’t it funny sometimes how we are so immersed in the details of a situation that we don’t see the bigger picture. We are so busy roaming through the forest that we don’t see the forest for the trees. We can say that about our worries as well. If our worries were trees we would be running in a panic through the forest thinking everywhere I turn is another worry. Big worries, small worries, short worries, tall worries – everywhere you look worries. Yet if we stepped back and opened our eyes to see the Big picture what a difference it could make. What if we stopped to WONDER instead of worry. What if we stopped to Wonder… What God is doing in this situation? What God wants me to see here? What God wants me to learn here? What my role is in His plan? What actions or wisdom He wants me to take on/in? I am thankful that the Freedom from Worry has given me a tool to stop running head first into the trees of worry. And it is unbelievably satisfying to teach these biblical principles along with the process to believers. To see God’s peace and blessings flow into another person’s life is truly exciting for me.. For those who were a part of the last live Freedom from Worry group (or if you’ve been reading this blog) you are aware that I have really been seeking the answer for "why the journaling is so critical?” to the processes effectiveness.

It’s crazy how everything multiples when you go from just praying it occasionally, to regularly praying and journaling out the process.. Literally the worries just slip away while everything else multiplies! The peace multiplies, seeing the hand of God in your life multiplies, the joy multiplies, the blessings multiple, everything! So it’s been my prayer to God "Why?” And I have had many great suggestions even as why it might be more effective with the journaling. And with each suggestion I’ve thought – yeah that good but that’s not everything, that’s not "it”. Then I had my forest for the trees moment this week. This verse kept coming to mind. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 I was like yeah, yeah we are doing that, but that’s not "it”. But the verse wouldn’t go away. It’s not like I had read it in a devotional or heard it preached recently so I was like this has to be the answer. I’d better look it up and meditate on this verse and see what I learn. And BAM like a slap to the forehead. I’m a writer. The best of writers are good because they can capture their thoughts and put them into words. Bam! The way you capture a thought is to write it! This is why journaling our worry list, thankful list, and prayer requests is so critical. We are literally capturing all those negative worrisome thoughts and then making our minds obedient. I knew the prayer and journaling process was a discipline (as in a positive habit to acquire) but I never thought of it as the discipline (punishment, correction). When it comes to worries the enemy will argue and set up a long list of reasons (pretensions) why the worst outcomes are sure to happen and then he’ll argue some more. The longer he can keep you arguing with him and battling the worrisome thoughts in your head the happier he is. He delights in knowing he can 1. Keep you from trusting God. 2. Keep you from taking effective action in your life. 3. Keep you focused on yourself and your problems and not serving others.

So if I haven’t said it with enough confidence, passion and enthusiasm before then I will say it now. Don’t skip the journaling part of the Freedom from Worry process – it’s how you take your thoughts captive. Until they are captive you will be unable to fully walk a worry free life. The Unveiling of the Mystery by Lamar Price Paul wrote to the Romans, "Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which has been kept secret for long ages past, but now is manifested" (Rom. 16:25-26). The apostle's special commission was to make known to all a tremendous mystery concerning Jesus Christ which had been hidden for ages. He exulted in the fact that this secret was now made manifest. Though he was the one to make this knowledge widely understood, particularly among the Gentiles, it was not a separate gospel from that which Jesus proclaimed, but rather a further unfolding of Christ's message. Notice that Paul's gospel centered on the preaching of Jesus Christ as He had now been revealed. In Colossians, he explains that the mystery is "Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Col. 1:27). Of all the inheritance that is ours by faith, the greatest aspect is simply to really know the true God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and to experience His life lived through us on a moment bymoment basis through our being joined as one with Christ. In Christ, God revealed Himself plainly to mankind. He was "the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature" (Heb. 1:3). Previously, God had been known in portions (verse one); now He was plainly revealed, indwelling the human Jesus.

Just as Jesus was a living representation of God, so we manifest God when Christ dwells in us. John tells us that "as He is, so are we in this world" (I Jn. 4:17). When we are joined to Christ, we are in the kingdom of heaven and live as God's representatives here on earth. Jesus Himself explained this mystery in His parables of the kingdom. We read that "what was spoken through the prophet" was fulfilled in His ministry. I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret since the foundation of the world" (Matt. 13:35). Though it was not given to the masses to understand, there was a growing revelation in the minds of the disciples, finally culminating in the manifestation of this secret in the ministry of Paul. Today, we can look back upon the parables of Jesus and see how they dovetail perfectly with the plain teaching of the apostle to the Gentiles. The mystery of Christ in us reveals that when we become joined to Christ we are a new creation - a new man. There is neither Jew nor Gentile any longer, but only this new, spiritual man who is a member of the heavenly kingdom. It was concerning this new man that John wrote in his first letter. He wrote to "little children," "young men," and "fathers." Little children tend to be selfcentered, rules-oriented, unable to take care of themselves, and delight in things. (But they are still heirs!) Youth is a time of development. It is a time of transition from childhood to adulthood - a time when there is little patience for the childishness of the children. Though youths are largely able to take care of themselves, they are still dependent to a degree, and they are still self-centered. They delight in strength -dramatic power. They have yet to learn that God comes to us in a "still, small voice," with gentleness. They are characteristically poweroriented, and not yet "fixed" as mature individuals. Spiritual fathers and mothers are mature. They are not only capable of taking care of themselves, without need for constant counseling, but can be counted on to reach out and care for the little children as well as the youths. They are not self-centered, and neither are they rules-oriented. They are led by the Spirit - both free from law and free from the flesh. They delight simply m knowing the Father - not externally, but within.

Spiritual childhood, or youth, or adulthood have no relationship to chronological age. Some are born into the kingdom of God and zip into adulthood almost immediately. On the other hand, one may remain a spiritual babe all of his life. This was Paul's heartache with the Corinthian church. Do you know what our calling is? We have been called to be free from law, free from rules - these things are for children. And we have also been called to be free from the power-oriented self-centeredness of youth. Our freedom is not to become an excuse for letting our physical desires enslave us (Gal. 5:13). We are to go on to fatherhood, whereby God is fully manifest in our flesh! True, God indwells us even as children - but He wants us to press on through youth, and into fatherhood. Philip asked Jesus, "Show us the Father, and it suffices us." Jesus' reply was, "If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father, Philip." Philip missed the revelation of the Father because his expectations were different from what he actually saw. He had childish perception. He didn't realize that God is manifesting Himself in ordinary human beings like you and me! That is glory. Through us, God is showing Himself to the world, just as He did in Jesus, for those who have the eyes to see Him.

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God (Romans 8:16, NKJV).

I recently posted this quote on my Facebook page: "The greatest tragedy is not death, but life without Jesus.” I had quite a few responses, all positive except one. A man I don’t know responded that though he had once been a monk and had read the Bible through countless times, he did not believe that anyone could know for certain that God existed or that He cares for us. That was one of the saddest statements I’ve ever heard, though he’s certainly not the first to voice it. But the minute I read it I began to pray that the Lord would give this man "ears to hear” and a heart to respond to the still, small voice of God, wooing and calling him to the Father’s heart. The most recent post from this man was that he would stop speaking and just listen to see if what I said about God is true. Of course, I’m believing that our faithful Lord will show him that it is. Isn’t it an amazing thing that someone who once read the Scriptures regularly and had seemingly devoted his life to serving God could come away from that experience not knowing if God even exists?

And yet the Bible is clear that without the Spirit of God living inside us it is impossible to know God intimately or to understand anything He says. That’s why this verse in Romans 8 is so important. Once we have received Christ as Savior and His Spirit has come to dwell in us, how can we ever doubt His existence or His love for us? He lives inside of us, and He continually assures us that we belong to Him. We are His children, and He will never leave or abandon us. Regardless of what goes on around us, what difficulties we encounter or sufferings we endure, we KNOW that we KNOW that we KNOW that God is real, He loves us, and we belong to Him—forever. There is nothing anyone can say or do to convince us otherwise. But just as surely as we know these things to be true, those who do not have the Spirit of God living in them cannot know or understand them. We can’t arm wrestle or argue anyone into the Kingdom, but we can pray that God will reveal Himself to them so they too can invite God’s Spirit to come and dwell inside them. When they do, all doubt will be gone, washed away by the blessed assurance that they belong to Him—forever and always. Pray with me for this former monk and so many others like him, will you? AND I BELIEVE IT WAS DONE INTENTIONALLY BY GOD BECAUSE HE KNEW MAN WOULD TRY TO TAKE THE CREDIT FOR SOMETHING HE DID NOT DO. ONE MAN WOULD SAY, I HELPED GOD HANG THE SUN IN THE SKY; ANOTHER WOULD TRY TO TAKE CREDIT FOR CREATING THE STARS AND PLACING THEM IN THE SKY. ANOTHER WOULD SAY, I CREATED THE ANIMALS, ETC. THEY WOULD NOT BE WILLING TO GIVE GOD ANY GLORY OR MAYBE JUST A LITTLE. GOD KNEW THIS AND HE SAID IN HIS WORD THAT HE WILL NTO SHARE HIS GLORY! HE SAID HE INHABITS THE PRAISE OF HIS PEOPLE. HE SAID THAT HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY GOD AND BESIDE HIM THERE IS NO OTHER. THEREFORE PEOPLE OF GOD, WE NEED TO GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY, HONOR, POWER, DOMINION, MAJESTY AND GLORY WITH THANKSGIVING FOR WHO HE IS. HE'S GOD ALL BY HIMSELF! 11:12. No itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s not the time, or is it? Mat 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. Once a Marine, always a Marine, so the word violent or violence flows in the veins of a Marine, in other words, we love that word. Marines, for the most part emulate that which is righteous with God, in standing up for truth, justice, judgment, and the so called little guy, with one minor reflection. Mat 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Marines, once born again, must learn to fight a different way; 2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 2Co 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. Trust one thing and never let it slip from your mind, even a born again Marine, still has a violent mean streak in them. They will defend, violently, anyone who is oppressed, abused, imprisoned, and most especially, their own.

Never ever take for granted that a born again Marine will not ripped your head off and, well you get the picture, without fear to self. I would like to make point out, anyone who is Special Forces, has the same mentality, so beware! ALL who come against the kingdom of heaven and God’s children, are in danger. As a Marine, it was most difficult to come out of kill mode and learn how to fight the good fight, with a legitimate God mindset, relearning how to protect others and ourselves, God’s way, but we can and do learn. Like Jesus, a rightly taught warrior, doesn’t stand on the sidelines, when righteous life, truth, justice, judgment, and the lives of other fellow Christians, are threatened, manipulated, or led to the slaughter. Mat 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. A true warrior of and God, will stand up for truth, fight for that truth to be spoken, or will decree and declare the pulpit predators be removed, and it shall be! Job 22:25 Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver. Job 22:26 For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God. Job 22:27 Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows. Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. Job 22:29 When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person. Job 22:30 He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands. Each and every one of us has this same ability, to be a warrior with a Marine mentality, to stand up for God’s truth. Luk 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Semper Fi is the battle cry of every Marine, Semper Fi means always faithful, and every Marine goes into battle with a level of faith, not for themselves, but for others. Act 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. A true warrior is more concerned with the well being of others, over their own lives, Rom 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; A true warrior of God, considers others better than themselves, they are concerned for the plight of others, and because of the depth of their love for God and fellow man, will lay down their lives for others, even to the point of offending that which is not right with God. A true warrior seeks God and seeks His kingdom, not themselves or their own kingdom. It’s time the true warriors of God stood up and fought for the kingdom and let your violent attitude be prayerful and speaking God’s truth in every situation. Let each warrior as they see the wrongs, decree God’s Word over it, believing, and see what God will do. Not one word of God’s Word or His promises will fall to the ground. Do you have the Word of God in you, the perfect weapon of our warfare, do you have a heart after God’s heart that will pray and speak the word of God into every situation? Do you have the heart of a lion with the willingness to lay down your own life, for the lives of others? Are you truly a man or woman after God’s own heart? Will you stand up for God’s righteousness, justice, judgment, and do it all in His love? Are you really a warrior for God and His kingdom, or are you a slacker, hoping to slide through on the coattails of another, who is a true warrior for God? In truth, you cannot answer this question until you have been placed in this situation, you can only say you are. Remember, words are cheap, and for the most part, while God is true and truthful, every man is a liar. If you say you love God, but do not His commands, the truth is not in you, if you tell someone you love them but do not show it, you are a liar. This is God’s truth, search it out for yourselves, and if someone says to you, you airship and serve a paper God because you choose to obey God’s commands, they are the liar, you keep pressing forward. Think hard on what is said here; it is the difference between life and death and whom you serve.

Now go and be blessed and bless others as well, as you do, take witness to the more abundant life that is taking place within you. Amen!

COME UP HIGHER! BY MARGARET MULLINGS

COME UP HIGHER! There He stood at the top of the mountain beckoning to me down in the valley, to come up higher in Him. Then looking around in the low valley saw a green smooth path leading up the mountain side, but it lead away from Him. It was a rough side which led straight up to Him. Immediately, the decision was made, and my feet began the climb. Upon arrival, He was not there! Where did He go? Did He elude me? My feet then escaped some deadly traps on top of the mountain. Soon after over coming discovered an unusual sight, people walking on a sea of glass and if that was not enough: there before me, the most beautiful river flowing like in the Garden of Eden. While gazing upon its beauty, awakened saying, " I'm going to make it." Yes, it was a dream, yet it gave me hope and once again I was healed! These words caused me to sit up in bed at 2am in the morning, ÂŤCome up Higher in the way you are living, come up higher from the cares of this life. Come up higher in your study of the word, and in your prayer life. Come up higher, for the wages of sin is death. It is time to unwrap the gifts I have given to you, which will activate My river to flow abundantly from My throne to you! Come up higher from the noise of the nay Sayers, and all who oppose My will and purpose for your life ! Come up higher to receive

My specific instructions for your life. Come up higher to see more clearly and to truly understand the deep and hidden things. No more will you wander around in darkness. The light of Jesus Christ is guiding your every step, leading you to the table I have prepared for you ! Come up higher and you will be able to really love those who attempt to destroy My purpose and will for your life ! Come up higher to be transformed in My presence. " Still sitting, the word resounded from Isaiah 55:8-11. (8) " For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD." (9) " For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than yours, and My thoughts than your thoughts." (10) " For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, " (11) " So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth, it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. " Being reminded of the Psalmist David as he fled to the refuge of Abba Father's presence. Read it for yourself from the Book of Psalm 61:1-5 & 8. (1) " Hear my cry, O God, attend to my prayer,." (2) " From the end of the earth I will cry to you, when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. " (3) " For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy. " (4) " I will abide in Your tabernacle for ever, I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah. " Pause and calmly think about that as you focus on verse (5) " For you O God have heard my vows, You have given me the heritage of those who fear Your name." (8) " So I will sing to Your name forever; that I may daily perform my vows. "

Friend, in spite of what you are going through in the midst of it all, stop ! Take a deep breath in, now breathe out......There ! Question, Can you hear Yahweh, saying to you, come up higher ? The word is resounding this time from the Book of Revelation chapter 22. Jesus is speaking, (12) " And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give everyone according to his work. " (13) " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the End, the First and the Last.

" Yahweh, says to you and He says to me, (14) " Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates of the city." Beware, of what is outside of Him as He calls you to come up higher ! (15) " But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. " COME UP HIGHER ! (17) " And the Spirit and the bride say, " Come ! And let him who hears say, " Come ! " And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely." Come up higher today ! Tomorrow may be too late.....COME UP HIGHER !

“A Godly Marriage”: © Rev. Peggy W. Lester 7.23.12 50

I wouldn’t say I am an expert on marriage, nor would I say I have a perfect marriage. I will say I serve a Perfect God who is the center of our marriage because we have chosen to place Him there every day! I will share with you my life and my marriage as we make this monthly article journey together. Don and I have been married nearly 46 years. As the saying goes, "we have come a long way, baby!” We have learned a lot, forgiven a lot, hurt a lot, and endured a lot. I believe our lives and examples can help if you need counsel and are open to the Lord and His redemptive power. God ordained marriage. It was not man’s idea; and, quite frankly it is not up for "redefining” by man. The contents of the Bible begin with the creation of all things. It includes the creation of man and woman, and their coming together in relationship through what is called marriage. Adam was created first from the dust of the ground, Gen. 2:7, and then Eve was fashioned from Adam’s rib. Scripture, from the beginning to the end, is about relationships…our relationship with God, His Son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, as well as, relationships with people. Marriage between a husband and wife is the closest picture of our relationship with God. It is a covenant relationship. Our God is a covenant making and keeping God. In the cutting of a covenant, commitments are made by the each party. In the covenants that God made with man, He was the one making the commitments. He was the One who initiated the covenant and then committed Himself to the covenant.

The first covenant relationship with Adam is found in Gen. 1 and 2. God had charged Adam to (1) populate the earth, (2) subdue the earth, (3) exercise dominion over the animal creation; (4) care for the garden of Eden and enjoy its fruit, Gen. 1:29; 2:15; and (5) refrain from eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil under penalty of death, Gen. 2:16, 17. When God gave Adam these charges, He also was committing to Adam to empower him to accomplish these tasks. When God said "populate the earth”, this statement equipped Adam to procreate. In other words, when God spoke it, whatever He spoke equipped Adam to accomplish. Adam and Eve’s disobedience resulted in spiritual death and eventually, physical death. At that time, God made covenant with man by the shedding of blood in the killing of the animals from which He took the skins to cover Adam and Eve’s nakedness. He banished them from the garden so they would not eat of the Tree of Life and live eternally in their state of "sinfulness and separation” from Him. What we may see as an act of punishment, was ultimately an act of love. God would provide a way back to Himself for man. God had a redemptive plan in place. Can you see the original purpose for creation of the man and woman? It was for relationship – God with man and woman. It was and is a beautiful picture; but, due to the disobedience of mankind, we are all born in the state of sinfulness and are separated from God, until we come to know and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We see intimacy, physically and spiritually, leadership and dominion characteristics, nurture, caring, enjoyment and submission characteristics in the creation story. I’m sure there are more qualities we see from the beginning of creation. The disobedience of Adam and Eve brought an end to a perfect environment and a blissful relationship. Now, things would be perverted because of sin. Due to their sin, a distortion of relationships would be present in the relationship between God, man and woman. Some of these distortions and curses can be seen by: 1. The wife’s unwillingness to lovingly submit to her husband. 2. Their roles and desires would be distorted. 3. Leadership would be distorted and evaded. 4. Curses would be prevalent in their lives and for generations to come.

(We will begin our discussions on these in next article.) Where are you in your marriage? Does it exhibit the love Christ has for the Church? Does your marriage exhibit the love God had and has for His covenant people, the Jews? When people see or experience your relationship with your spouse, do they see a Godly picture of marriage? Marriage is "work”…having a Godly marriage doesn’t just happen. Each spouse must give 100%. When marriages break down, family breaks down, then community breaks down, and then society and country will eventually fall under the enemy’s deception. The enemy is out to destroy any type of relationship that reveals God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. If we hope to bring revival to our world, it must start in our individual lives, move through our families in our homes and out into the world. May our eyes be opened and our spirit receptive to the Word of God and the work of His Holy Spirit in our lives.

The Symphony Of Life... : BY Kenneth White

A brother related the following experience: " When I first went to Nashville, Tennessee, some friends, thinking they were doing me a favor, called me and said, "we have tickets for the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra that`s coming to town, and we want you to be our guest". Well, I love music, but I know little about it, and I can`t sing it--I always helped congregational singing by being quiet. Frankly, I couldn`t think of anything more boring than a whole evening of symphony! But I had to go because they were so kind and I wanted to be polite, so I accepted graciously and went along. "I had never been to a thing like this before, and I was impressed by what I saw. We went in and took our seats, and in a few minutes there began to drift out from the sides the mucisians. They were in shirt sleeves for the most part, and each person went up to their instrument and started tuning it. The fellows with the fiddles to big to put under their chins sawed back and forth--oh, it sounded terrible. The fellows with the little ones they put under their chins sqeaked up and down with those. The ones with the horns--oh my, nothing was in harmony. It was a medley of discordant, confused noise. Then after they got through with that kind of disturbance, they all disappeared again, went out through the back exits." "Another five minutes went by when all of a sudden the lights in the auditorium went off, the lights on the platform came on, and the musicians walked out. This time they had on their coats. My, they looked so nice. Each one came out and stood or sat by his instrument. Then there was a hush in the auditorium, a spotlight was focused on the wings, and the conducter stepped out. When he did there was thunderous applause for him. He bowed.

Then he came to the podium and picked up a thin little stick. He turned around again to the audience and bowed, then turned his back to the audience, lifted that little stick--total silence came over the auditorium, you could have heard a pin drop--then he brought the little stick down. And, my friend, there were goose pimples all over me. I never heard such music in all my life. Oh, what harmony, what wonderful harmony there was!"-I tell you today God is preparing His sons for the greatest symphony the world has ever heard, a symphony of divine wisdom, omnipotent power, and unconditional love that can reach to the lowest hells and bring people out of them. The sons of God will be the symphony themselves! All the chords of God`s nature, wisdom and power will be struck in them. At this present time, as God is fine tuning our lives, it seems as if every man is tooting his own horn, everyone is playing his own fiddle, it sounds like everyone is out of tune, a medley of discord. But as God deals in our lives, teaching us his ways, writing His laws in our hearths, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, establishing his will and transforming our beings, He is creating within each of us a chord of the Spirit of life in CHrist Jesus. Our minds and our souls are now being renewed, through repentance, by the Spirit of God. Through the crucible of daily experience by the dealings of our Father we are learning to percieve and fully understand by the wisdom of the Mind of Christ instead of thinking with the carnal mind we inherited from Adam. As God, by His refining fire purges out of us the trusting in our own strength, our confidence in the flesh, the inbred mentality of Babylonish religion, and the spirit of the world, what a raucous screeching is emitted from our lives! We all seem so different, and the Father`s purposes in us appear disparate. What a motley crew the sons of God appear to be today! But you, my good friend, are an instrument designed to be a channel of Life, Light, and Love. And Jesus Christ is the Master Conducter, and wants to play the strings of emotions and thoughts and desires and nature within you until you become a son indeed, the Song Of The Lord in the midst of the earth. Your life, when it is hid with Christ in God, becomes a beautiful thing; your thoughts and actions all in unity with God are running along the lines that lead to the Father, for they diverge not. When the hour strikes for the unveiling of God`s sons, Jesus Christ as Lord will lift His Scepter--oh, what harmony that will sound forth from all His many brethren! Then the world shall see the fullness of Christ, which includes as Christ the Head, Christ the body, in all the life and gloriius harmony of the Kingdom of God. This is what is taking place

right now in the sons of God from Romans 8:19, "for all creation groans for the revealing of God`s sons! Not a rapture...J Preston Eby...

Opening my eyes, there he was reaching out beckoning me to take his hand. Being very still refused, for as I listened intently, he was saying to me, " Let me use your key, " My reply, " Go get your own key, " what was so interesting, he looked like Jesus, but he did not sound like Him. The word then spoke up from 2 Corinthians 11:14. " For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. " Further more Jesus would never ask to use the keys, when in fact He is the One who said, Matthew 16:19 " And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and what ever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. " Unmasking the master of lies and deception comes through the truth of the word.

In your daily walk with Yahweh, the God, who redeems. Do you find yourself being constantly hurt and humiliated, oppressed and depressed ? Are you in the midst of you say and I say ? Has your love gone cold for your brothers and sisters ? Taking a step even further. Men and women of Yahweh, Do you and I find ourselves warring against each other ? Husbands and wives are you constantly bombarding each other and doing under handed things to each other ? This list can go on and on, I do not have the answers. The word is resounding from Revelation 12:12. " Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time. " Have you (me too) been so busy fighting each other, that you have forgotten, 1 Peter 5:8. "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. " Do you not remember, Satan is a liar, a thief, and a murderer. Stop allowing yourself to be hurt and humiliated, oppressed and depressed. Cease from becoming involved in you say and I say ! It is time to unmask the master of lies and deception by using the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. However, to skillfully and effectively use this two edged sword. You and I must study it day and night. Can you hear it resounding this time from the Book of Joshua 1:8 ? " This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. ". The word continues to speak, " Hebrews 4:12 " For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. ". When accused, make sure you are not guilty, and if you are, repent (me too) ! Beware ! Satan is the accuser of the brethren. Husbands and wives each time you find yourselves coming against each other, pull up the word. The word is resounding again, this time Jesus is speaking from Matthew 12:25, " Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. " Unmask the master of lies and deception, then watch his operation of control and manipulation crumble right before your very eyes. Unmask all the nay Sayers, the liars, the back biters, the dream killers, and all those who assassinate your character. You will discover under the mask, Satan himself is behind it all. Unmask the humiliation, oppression and depression.

You will see and experience the truth of God's word from Ephesians 6:12. " For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. " Husbands and wives, you are not each others enemy. Siblings, you are not each other rivals. Friends and family members, stop all that fussing and fighting ! Begin loving, respecting, and appreciating each other as you unmask the master of lies and deception ! Begin even now ! For life is very brief. In closing. Remember, appearances can be very deceiving. Just as in the dream, it looked like Jesus was reaching His hand out to me, only to discover by the words coming out of his mouth; it was not him. Unmasking the master of lies and deception is done by skillfully knowing and using the word. You and I will successfully unmask Satan and his operations, by becoming doers of the word ! Unmask him in every situation and circumstance ! Come on give Abba Father PRAISE as your love for each other is being restored !

THY KINGDOM COME ON EARTH NY PASTOR JOEL McNAAB

Two thousand years ago two men showed up in Judea with the same message. Their message was not, repent and miss hell as some would have us believe. John the baptizer came preaching "Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand”, and when his time was fulfilled, Jesus began His ministry and preaching the same message. His Father was ready to begin setting up His kingdom here on earth as He has it in heaven. To those who believe the message of the kingdom and become a part of it, they will miss hell, and have everlasting life. "Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee” (Neh 9: 6). It is God who has everything, it is His dominion, this world was made to worship Him and it is His will to have kingdom here on the just like the one He has in heaven. He devised a plan to set this in motion from the foundation of the world. God created man in His image to give man the control and dominion of the earth (Gen. 1:26-28). How many of us, as believers, have prayed or said what is called the Lord’s Prayer? These words, which Jesus taught were not necessarily a repeat after me prayer, but as He said "After this manner therefore pray ye”. He gave us an outline of how we can reach God.

First, we address God as "our Father Which art in heaven”. Second, Jesus gives us an example to praise the Father and glorify His name "Hallowed be Thy name”. Thirdly, to ask God to fulfill His purpose and will on this earth. "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven” (Mt 6:9-13). 60

These three things come first in importance before our needs and requests. The Kingdom of God on earth is God’s plan since the creation of man. Jesus didn’t come just to save sinners, though it is a faithful saying. He came and died for our sins, to enable us to become a part of His kingdom. Jesus even told Nicodemus, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God " (Jn 3:3). "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (Jn 1:12)” Jesus’ death and resurrection allows mankind to attain a condition of spiritual holiness enabling us to be a part the kingdom that God will have here on earth. When Nicodemus asked Jesus, "How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born”? Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” (Jn 3:4-7). The point Jesus is making is that to enter the kingdom of God, one has to be born of woman. When a child is ready to enter the world, his mother’s water breaks and the child comes forth. One has to be "born again” to see what the kingdom of God is and enter it. "The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men” (Ps 115:16). God sent His Son to earth in the form of man, because the He has given the earth to man. He will also fulfill His promise to David. "Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me” (2Ch 6:17). The promises of God the Father are sure, they cannot fail, there will be a man to sit on the throne of David, even Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

God’s plan after the Lucifer’s rebellion, was to inhabit the earth with man to worship Him, and to give the angels that remained in God’s heavenly kingdom a visual lesson of how grievous the insurrection of Lucifer was. But, while in the Garden of Eden, the first Adam relinquished his dominion of the earth to Satan by disobeying the commandment and will of God to not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. On the day of Pentecost, when it had fully come, Peter filled with an unction of the Holy Ghost preached to the crowd, that Jesus was raise from the dead to immortality, God not leaving his body in hell to see corruption, so that there would be a man to sit on the throne of David (Acts 2:25-31). I often hear believers talk of heaven and the desire to go there, how they can’t wait to go home and be with Jesus. The songs they sing, the books they write, are all filled with pictures of endless walks on the street of gold, with family and friends. What happen to the promise to Abraham that he would be heir of the earth? Or the blessing in Matt. 5:5 that Jesus gave to the meek that they also would inherit the earth? I hear the words, "Thy kingdom come Thy will be done in earth”, or it is in heaven. If it is on the earth, then where is His kingdom on earth? Jesus said to the Pharisees when they demanded of Him when the kingdom should come: "The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you” (Lk 17;20-21). Many have read these words of Jesus, and have gotten the idea that once you are born again the kingdom of God is in you. I would question this doctrine, and ask why was Jesus saying this to some unsaved Pharisees? He was saying it to them, because God had chosen the children of Israel to be His kingdom on earth, and even though they had been under foreign country’s rule from the time of the Babylonian empire, they were as King David thought, when he fought Goliath, "the armies and kingdom of the living God” on earth (1Sam 17:26,36). Jesus also knew the Jews of His day had the kingdom, when He was teaching in the temple and the chief priest and elders of the people came to Him. He spoke to them in the parable of the householder who planted a vineyard and hedged it letting it out to husbandmen. he sent servants to receive the fruit and the husbandman kill them and sent others and they beat and stoned them.

Then last of all he sent his son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. Jesus then asked the question, "When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof” (Mt 21:33-46). Here we see Jesus letting the Jews of His day know they were going to loose the kingdom of God, and God would give it to another people (nation), who when He comes will have fruits that kingdom on their tree. By their rejection of the Son of God and having Him killed on the cross, they sealed their judgment, and at the death of the testator the covenant, the ten commandments which God made with Israel, was annulled. As Paul said, "The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord” (1Cor 7:39). At the death of Jesus, God took the kingdom from the Jews, and in 70 A.D. He took the promised land and scattered the Jews around the world. The promise Jesus made, that there will be a nation rise up with the fruits of the kingdom of God, will come to pass. In Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the image, (from the head of gold, to the feet mixed with iron and clay), God reveals He will set up a kingdom in the days of those kings (ten toes), which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever (Dan 2:31-35). We are living in the days of the ten horns and the beast (the G10 and the UN). There will be a little stone, (a small nation), which comes out of the mountain and it will smite the feet of the image. The stone became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

"That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him” (Eph 1:10). We are living in the fulness of times. Are you expecting our Lord’s return to rule and reign on this earth? The message is the same as it was two thousand years ago, we still have time to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand, and He is ready to gather His wheat into His barn. Are you ready, are you bringing forth the fruits of God’s kingdom??? It’s time to hear the trump of God and gather unto Him. Get ready saints, the Kingdom of God is at hand! "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever” (Rev 11:15). In this day and age we live in, if Jesus does not return and establish His kingdom we are all in trouble with the world governments. Jesus said, "And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Mt 24:22). Let us pray, Even so come Lord Jesus.

Ladies~ The human conscience gets a bad rap; everyone hates to live with guilt and shame because they make us feel terribly uncomfortable. But they are actually good for us. They are warning signals that God gave us to feel bad when we are thinking or doing wrong. There are other warning signals that God has given us for our protection: our sensitive nervous system sends a high speed message to the brain to â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;let goâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; when we grab something hot or sharp, our sense of smell warns us of something burning, physical pain warns us that something is wrong with that particular part of the body, and common sense warns us that the ice may be too thin to walk on, or that if the last five people failed at a certain thing that we need to learn from their mishaps, or that if we leave the door open the cold will come in to the house. These are all some of the warning systems that we have and that actually help us make better and safer decisions in life.

However there is also a warning system that God gave us that centers on the inner man, the soul of a person; our conscience. The conscience is what makes us feel guilty or convicted when we sin, and it also makes us feel at peace and relieved when we choose what we know is right. There are problems with the conscience though. Oneâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s conscience does need to be taught correctly in order for it to function as God created it to. If you have a misinformed conscience you will receive misinformed messages and warnings from it. Whatever your conscience believes is right or wrong is what it will hold you to. So if you believe something wrong your conscience will be misinformed and will give you signals that are faulty.

For instance if you are taught that homosexuality is a mere ‘alternate lifestyle’ your conscience won’t feel as bad when you partake in that type of sexual practice. However if you are taught that homosexuality is sinful and wrong you will feel guilty and bad if you are engaged in that lifestyle. This is where we need to ask ourselves- “Who said so?” Who makes the laws anyway? I remember my sisters would come outside when we were little and say, “You need to go in and do such and such” and I would always ask, “Who said so?” Depending on the authority behind it, I’d make my decision to go in

or not. Who makes the rules in life, and what determines that one thing is ok or not? Who says that one thing is evil, froward, wicked, unacceptable, sinful or bad and who says that a thing is right, ok, righteous, holy, acceptable, and good? What is the ‘right’ way to teach one’s conscience? Are there really answers here or should we chock everything up to individual opinion? Is there a true standard of right and wrong or should we throw a cloak of “judge not” over everything? Are there absolutes in life?

Jesus says that He is the truth (Jhn 14:6). God is the Creator of the universe, He created everything and everyone; He is sovereign and He sets up rules with total authority. God is autonomous, which means that He is self existing, self governing, independent, and free to make decisions and act upon them. Jesus, who is God, is “far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come” (Eph. 1:21). The world tries to eliminate God and His existence and authority so that they can live their lives free from His rule. People who don’t follow Jesus want to live in a world where they can freely sin crying, “Live and let live!” yet answer to no one in the end. Some of them go so far as to call themselves atheists claiming that they don’t believe that God exists. But there is no real atheist; everyone was born with the knowledge in them that God is. Below is the clearest scripture on this subject that I know of. It tells us that there are no real atheists and it also reveals to us what happens in the soul of a person who is aware of God then turns away from Him and defies His authority in their lives. It is a portrait of the people that we live and work with daily. It answers a lot of the questions to why there is soooo much evil around us. It also tells us why we have homosexuality and lesbianism as well as other sinful practices. Let’s just be sure that as we read this that we examine ourselves to be sure that we aren’t of those who rejoice and delight in wickedness:

â&#x20AC;&#x153;For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For the invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thinks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know Godâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice themâ&#x20AC;? (Rom. 1:18-32). This is quite sobering.

Lord, we want our eyes to be opened! We live in an age where advertising and campaigning ones product or presence has never been easier, faster or simpler. With the real time feeds from Social Media networks it takes a few seconds to update ones "virtual status, "online-diary" and whereabouts. Jesus did not have the luxury of present day technology during His three years of intense Ministry. His whereabouts were known mostly by word of mouth. I can imagine that having any kind of pre-warning or notice of His pending arrival in a town or city would hold the locals in great stead and advantage as to His imminent arrival. Many like Zacchaeus the diminutive tax collector would feverishly have conjured up ways and means of catching but a glimpse of Jesus even if it meant climbing up a tree! Or like the woman with the issue of blood who got wind of Jesus' visit to town, crawled and grovelled just to reach the hem of His garment. Many followed and came to Jesus for a variety of reasons, from curiosity to receiving from Him, whether attention, food or a miracle, the crowds followed, the crowds thronged Him wherever He went. Jesus and His Disciples had just departed Jericho when the following scene unfolded, Matthew 20:30-34 "And two blind men sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried out, "Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!" The crowd sternly told them to be quiet, but they cried out all the more, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!" And Jesus stopped and called them, and said, "What do you want Me to do for you?" They said to Him, "Lord, we want our eyes to be opened." Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes; and immediately they regained their sight and followed Him". Positioning for when Jesus comes by; way-laying and accosting Him is exactly what these blind men did. They were blind but they were not deaf. Their heightened sensory perception of the news they had just heard, of Jesus passing by, was more than sufficient for them to seize this opportune moment. "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!" What spiritual insight from men whose physical eyes were darkened. They recognised and called on Jesus as Lord, they asked for mercy.

Ironically, the same crowd that followed Jesus was the same lot who sternly attempted to silence them. But they cried and called even the louder. Was Jesus going to come by this way again? Was a rowdy inconsiderate crowd going to stop them? How badly did they want a touch from Jesus and to what extent where they prepared to go? Friends when all of these odds are against you, when even your one last moment of reaching out to Jesus, is threatened, you need to persevere and "shout out even louder". Just Jesus' attention, just getting Him to stop and behold them, was adequate. Jesus stopped! How many of you know that radical faith stops Jesus. Did Jesus assume that they wanted their sight? "What do want me to do for you?" This was more than just a show of mercy this was Jesus positioning them for a miracle. Moved with compassion, He healed them; they regained their sight and followed Him. This was not just a physical healing, but a re-awakening and intensifying of their spiritual vision.

Where are you positioned today? What do you trust God for? Is His Mercy sufficient for you like it was for these blind men? Are you able to rise above the discouragement and hindrances to reaching out to Jesus? What unconventional means and methods will you use to attract Him, to grab His attention and to block out barriers? It's your faith that makes you whole. It is your faith in Jesus as Lord, as Saviour, as Healer and Deliverer that will move His Hand to reach out and touch you in the area of your need. Your miracle is in your mouth - Speak, Shout and Scream if you must, just go after Jesus and get your miracle, every which way you can! HELLO MY FRIENDS, I'VE GOT A QUESTION I NEED TO ASK YOU........DO YOU KNOW HIM? WELL, FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE JUST BEEN "CHURCH GOERS" FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS AND HAVE HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT HIM...BUT, YOU'RE NOT SURE THAT YOU KNOW HIM FOR YOURSELF...I REALLY WANT TO HELP YOU TO GET TO KNOW WHO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS FOR YOURSELF. BUT, AGAIN, IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO OPEN UP TO HIM PERSONALLY, IT WILL JUST BE ANOTHER PREACHER TRYING TO SHARE WITH YOU WHAT I KNOW ABOUT HIM FOR MY SELF. AND TO THOSE WHO HAVE NOT BEEN ATTENDING REGULARLY TO ANY CHURCH OR MAY HAVE BEEN JUST VISITING AROUND FROM CHURCH TO CHURCH LEARNING NOTHING OF THE TRUE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.....YOU NEED TO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION ALSO. TO THE CONGREGATION, NO ONE GOT UP RIGHT AWAY AND I BEGAN TO LOOK AROUND TO SEE WHO HE MIGHT BE TALKING TO SPECIFICALLY.

AND ONCE I TURNED BACK AROUND TO FACE THE FRONT OF THE ROOM, IT APPEARED HE WAS TALKING TO ME BECAUSE HE WAS LOOKING RIGHT AT ME. BEFORE I KNEW IT, I STOOD UP ON MY FEET AND WENT TO THE FRONT AND ACCEPTED JESUS AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR. I WAS YOUNG AND A LITTLE NERVOUS , BUT THERE WAS ALSO AN EXCITEMENT THAT CAME OVER ME THAT I COULDN'T THEN EXPLAIN. ON THAT SUNDAY MORNING, MY PASTOR ANNOUNCED THAT THOSE CANDIDATES FOR THE MONTH WOULD BE GETTING BAPTIZED ON THE FIRST SUNDAY OF THE NEXT MONTH. I GOT REALLY EXCITED ABOUT GETTING BAPTIZED AND COULDN'T WAIT TO TELL MY FRIENDS AT SCHOOL AND MY NEIGHBORHOOD FRIENDS I WAS GETTING BAPTIZED. I DIDN'T REALLY KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON IN MY SPIRIT TO CAUSE SUCH EXCITEMENT. BUT, ONCE I STARTED TELLING MY FRIENDS, THEY DIDN'T SHARE IN MY EXCITEMENT. AS A MATTER OF FACT, THEY LOOKED AT ME AS THOUGH THEY WONDERED WHAT I WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT. SO, I DIDN'T SHARE WITH ANYONE ELSE AT SCHOOL OR THE NEIGHBORHOOD. I JUST COULD HARDLY WAIT UNTIL THAT FIRST SUNDAY CAME. BUT, I CAUGHT A COLD AND COUGH RIGHT BEFORE AND MY MOTHER SAID I MIGHT NOT GET TO BE BAPTIZED. I BEGGED AND PLEADED WITH HER BECAUSE I REALLY JUST WANTED TO GET BAPTIZED. SHE SAID, "WE'LL HAVE TO SEE IF YOUR COLD GETS BETTER." I TOOK MY MEDICINES AND KIND OF HURRIED MYSELF IN GETTING BETTER. AND I WAS BAPTIZED ON THAT NEXT FIRST SUNDAY. THROUGHOUT THE YEARS TO COME AS I GREW UP, I DID AS I ALWAYS HAD BEEN RAISED AND TAUGHT; GO TO SUNDAY SCHOOL AND CHURCH,SING IN THE CHOIR AND COME HOME. THEN, WE WERE ALLOWED TO GO TO THE MOVIES ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON. I THOUGHT FOR YEARS THAT THAT WAS ALL THERE WAS TO BEING A CHRISTIAN. IT WAS THE REGULAR ROUTINE AND I LOVED GOING TO CHURCH SO IT DIDN'T BOTHER ME GOING. MOST OF MY FRIENDS WENT TO THE SAME CHURCH AND SANG IN THE CHOIR ALSO.

I ENJOYED SINGING IN THE CHOIR UNTIL I GREW PAST THE AGE OF THE "YOUNG PEOPLE'S CHOIR" AND THEN THERE WAS THE "YOUNG ADULT CHOIR." ONCE I GREW PAST THAT AGE GROUP, I DIDN'T WANT TO JUMP INTO THE "SENIOR CHOIR" SO, I GOT OUT OF THE CHOIR AND I BEGAN SINGING SOLOS AROUND THE CITY. AND I LOVED BEING A SOLOIST AND SINGING PRAISES TO THE LORD. I HAD GOTTEN MARRIED AND STARTED A FAMILY BY THEN, BUT MY MARRIAGE WAS TO THE WRONG MAN. HE AND I DIDN'T COMMUNICATE WELL AND STARTED HAVING MARITAL PROBLEMS. IT WASN'T UNTIL THEN, THAT I LEARNED TO PRAY MORE AND STARTED READING MY BIBLE MORE. I STAYED IN THE BOOK OF THE PSALMS MORE THAN ANY OTHER BOOK IN THE BIBLE. I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THE SPIRIT LED ME THAT WAY UNTIL A FEW YEARS DOWN THE ROAD WHEN I LEARNED THAT THE MEANING OF PSALMS WAS, "SONGS OF PRAISES". AND THE LORD KNEW THAT THE IT WOULD STIR UP JOY IN MY SPIRIT AND THAT "THE JOY OF THE LORD WOULD GIVE ME STRENGTH." MY FIRST MARRIAGE ENDED UP IN A DIVORCE AND IT WASN'T LONG AFTER THAT I MET UP WITH MY HIGH SCHOOL SWEET HEART AND HE AND I GOT MARRIED. WE FELT LIKE WE DIDN'T NEED A LONG ENGAGEMENT BECAUSE WE HAD DATED IN HIGH SCHOOL (6 YEARS BEFORE) AND SO WE DIDN'T HESITATE TO GET MARRIED. WE WERE "IN LOVE" AND THOUGH WE HAD OUR SHARE OF PROBLEMS LIKE MOST YOUNG COUPLES DID, WE WOULD ALWAYS MAKE UP BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY AFTER AN ARGUMENT OF SORTS. I GOT PREGNANT AND HAD 2 CHILDREN BY MY SECOND MARRIAGE AND MY HUSBAND WAS IN THE MILITARY. I LOVED TRAVELING WHEN HE GOT ASSIGNED TO A NEW DUTY STATION BECAUSE I ALWAYS LOVED MEETING NEW PEOPLE AND DISCOVERING NEW SURROUNDINGS. SO , MILITARY LIFE WAS GOOD FOR US. WELL, MY SECOND MARRIAGE STARTED BEING IN SERIOUS TROUBLE WHEN MY HUSBAND WANTED TO START VERBAL ABUSE AND BLAME ME FOR HIS HAVING A BAD DAY AT WORK.

I COULD HARDLY GET HIM TO TALK TO ME ABOUT WHAT REALLY BOTHERING HIM. IT JUST SEEMED EASIER FOR HIM TO BLAME ME AND TAKE IT OUT ON ME VERBALLY. WELL, WE EVENTUALLY GOT OUT OF THE MILITARY AND WHEREAS I THOUGHT THINGS WOULD GET BETTER...THEY GOT WORSE! OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL YEARS, OUR COMMUNICATION GOT FARTHER AND FARTHER APART. WHEN I WOULD SAY, BABE, WE NEED TO TALK...HE WOULD SAY I'LL TALK, YOU LISTEN! AND AFTER HE WOULD HAVE HIS SAY, HE WOULD WALK OUT AND NOT GIVE ME A CHANCE TO SAY ANYTHING. ONE PROBLEM AFTER ANOTHER STARTED HAPPENING WITH OUR MARRIAGE, OUR FINANCIAL SITUATION, THE CHILDREN GROWING UP INTO THEIR TEENS, ETC. WE ARGUED AND FOUGHT (PHYSICALLY) AND I SUFFERED A BLACK EYE; AND HE TRIED TO STRANGLE ME ONCE, ETC. IT WAS REALLY SERIOUS ENOUGH UNTIL I REALIZED I NEEDED THE LORD TO SHOW ME A WAY OUT OF THAT TERRIBLE RELATIONSHIP THAT WAS GROWING MORE AND MORE FULL OF ANGER, MALICE, ENVY AND STRIFE BETWEEN ME AND THE MAN I THOUGHT WOULD BE MY LIFE TIME MATE. IT CAUSED ME TO PRAY, FAST AND PRAY, AND CRY OUT TO GOD FOR HIS MERCY MORE AND MORE. IT WAS DIFFICULT TO EVEN KNOW HOW TO PRAY OR EVEN HAVE A CLEAR MIND TO READ AND MEDITATE IN THE WORD OF GOD. BUT, I KNEW I HAD TO DO SO IN ORDER THAT I MIGHT SURVIVE THROUGH THE MARRIAGE CRISIS I WAS EXPERIENCING. THE POINT I WANT TO LEAVE WITH YOU OTHERS WHO MAY BE GOING THROUGH SOMETHING OF SORTS THAT I WENT THROUGH.....GET TO KNOW HIM FOR YOURSELF! IT MAY TAKE A CRISIS SITUATION OF SOME SORT, OR ALL KINDS OF TROUBLES, HEART ACHES AND PAIN BEFORE YOU FINALLY GET TO KNOW WHO JESUS IS FOR YOURSELF. HE'S LOVING, KIND, GENTLE, UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENT. HE'S FILLED WITH COMPASSION AND PASSION FOR THE SOULS OF MANKIND. HE SAID, "COME UNTO ME AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST,; TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU AND LEARN OF ME. FOR MY YOKE IS EASY AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT. "

BUT, YOU MUST LEARN TO CALL ON HIM, TRUSTING HIM EVERY STEP OF THE WAY THAT HE KNOWS BEST AND HE WILL BRING YOU THROUGH WHATEVER YOU MAY BE GOING THROUGH AND YOU WILL COME OUT VICTORIOUSLY WITH JOY AND PEACE OF MIND. IT'S ABOUT GETTING TO KNOW HIM PERSONALLY, FOLKS. NOT JUST TO KNOW OF HIM FROM WHAT THE SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER TAUGHT YOU OR EVEN THE PREACHER PREACHED ON SUNDAY MORNING WHICH MOST OF THE TIME YOU FORGOT BEFORE YOU WENT HOME. GET INTO THE WORD OF GOD DAILY AND MEDITATE ON HIS WORD. ASK GOD FOR WISDOM (BOTH SKILLFUL AND GODLY) TO OPEN UP UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT HIS WORD IS TEACHING YOU AND HOW TO APPLY IT TO YOUR DAILY WALK WITH HIM. “Now therefore, let it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue before You forever; for You, O Lord God, have spoken it, and with Your blessing let the house of Your servant be blessed forever” (2 Samuel 7:29, NKJV).

My friend Carole’s mother recently “graduated to heaven,” leaving behind not only many who will miss her but a lasting legacy of blessing as well. This precious lady, though physically depleted and in pain from cancer, so appreciated her loved ones gathering around her in her final days on earth. And though those loved ones knew she was suffering, instead of witnessing her complaining they experienced her selfless concern, even up to the point of her death. This dear lady’s pastor came to her in her last days and asked how he could pray for her. Rather than request that he pray for her to be healed or at least to have her suffering eased, she asked him to pray for her family who would be left behind. Her last thoughts and desires were that her loved ones would know and serve Christ and fulfill His purpose for their lives. When the pastor agreed to pray that way but then repeated his request to pray for her as well, she assured him she was just fine. Hours before her departure she lifted her arms toward heaven and said, “Take me, Lord.” The sovereign God of the universe honored her request and took her home to be with Him.

Though her spirit had departed, her body remained behind with a joyous smile on her face—yet another gift to her family from a merciful God. Like King David, who wisely prayed for the Lord to bless his family and descendants “forever,” this humble servant of God named Nancy Shizue Whang, did the same. It is an example worth following, and I pray we will all take it to heart—not just on our death bed but each day, while we yet have breath to praise our God and to lay our petitions for our loved ones at His feet.

I speak by power and anointing of God upon my life and by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. In this new month of August, any of your seed must be harvest in the name of Jesus. Are you rejected, abandon, neglected by your family, husband, wife, relations, friends. I speak by the power in the name of Jesus that you must have a testimony this month in Jesus name. Are you facing problem in your academic life, have you been in on noon land for years without seeing your family. Without any progress in your life. Get ready for this month, God have guaranteed that you must harvest your seed in Jesus name. Amen.

Can you honestly admit to your congregation about where you were before the call of the Lord came? What if you were a prostitute, a demon worshipper, a gangster, a killer, a thief, or something worse? Are you afraid they would use it against you.; so you always tell them that during your own youth you were the perfect model of a Christian youth? Why lie? Know today that it is alright to speak the truth about your pass. Where were you when you received your first call from God to come and work in His Vineyard? What motivated you? Can you clearly remember the events leading up to the period when you received your first call? How did you react to the fact that you were called by God to be set aside for the work of a servant in the vineyard? Did you understand the truth about the call and all its implications? Did you experience a physical or spiritual difference after your call? Did you expect your journey to be one of smoothness, with God on your side ready to smooth every rough pat? What did you think previously about those who were working in the Vineyard? Did you expect them to be blameless and without sin? Did you high expectations about the new life you were about to enter; one without sin? â&#x20AC;&#x153;Then said I, Woe is me! For I am undone; because I am man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of host. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my month, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send meâ&#x20AC;?. (Isaiah 6:5-7)

â&#x20AC;&#x153;Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying; Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a child. But the Lord said unto me, say not, I am a child; for thou shall go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shall speak. Be not afraid of their faces; for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. Then the Lord put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build and to plantâ&#x20AC;?.( Jer.1:4-10) One thing I want you to understand perfectly is the fact that it is God who call Shepherds and anoint them for the task He has for them; even before they were born. God call comes at a time when we least expect it; not regarding age or physical handicap. It comes to anyone God has chosen even those you consider to be hopeless sinners, drug addicts, prostitutes, etc. Many people have the notion that God only choose and work with the cream of society; the best in behaviour, the best student etc,. I want you to know today that it s a total lie; God works with those He choose and ordained for His purpose. This might surprise you a little but among the best preachers of our days are the formers/repented street gang leaders, drug addicts, prostitutes, criminals of our day.. These repented sinners were as surprise as you are right now and never dream about becoming a worker in the vineyard of God. Others were call when they thought they were too young; yet others when they thought that their physical handicap was a factor for people to pity them and not to follow them as leaders.

When they first received the call they were as astonished as Isaiah, Jeremiah, Rehab, Jacob, Moses, Samuel, and even the “Father of Faith”; Abraham. Their first reaction was that of fear and fright because they knew that they were unworthy for such task. Some believe that it was not true and the brave ones venture to ask God, others their masters, while yet others just obey blindly; leaving their fate to God. The reaction is normal if you experienced it during your own call. Both great and small of those truly called by God reacted in one way or the other. Both Moses and Jeremiah complain about having one speech impediment or the other. Samuel ran to asked Eli; while Rehab and Abraham follow as instructed( Rehab out of fear ,while Abraham out of curiosity and a sense of freshness and a new beginning; after a life of idolatry, in his new faith. For all of those who are called by God to carry out His purpose in life; one thing is clear, they had to be cleansed and remoulded because they came from a sinful and unclean life and were being set side for Holy purpose. Where you were before God call you? Today on satellite, internet, in various churches re billions of Bishops, Ministers, Pastors, apostles, Evangelist, Prophetess, Prophets, and you can name the rest of us; who claimed to be called God. The fact is there are millions of fakes among the true Shepherds; criminals of various types, instruments of the devil doing business for material gain in the name of God. The painful fact is most of the internet crime, exploitation, fornication, cheating, lying, and sins are now committed by men and women claiming to be called vessels of God. Many around the world are confused because the wolves and sheep are dress alike (and the wolves that are in the majority are setting the standard for today’s Christianity. On face Book for example; many of the pastors claiming to be in charge of refugee camps where there are boys and girls from ex-politicians homes, with secrets of large amounts of money, minerals etc. are cyber criminals. Many of them use the pictures and identities of other people. There are others who claimed to be miracle workers and can healed you of your illness, make you prospers, help you maintain your job etc.

I want you to know that these crooks were not called by God and are not worthy of you. But Bishop, I am confused here; How can we identified the true from false, because you say there is a tin line between the two? When God truly calls a person to be a vessel for His purpose; it is not by their bank account that you can know them, the amount of children they have, the size of their churches, their impact in the relief giving world, preaching or teaching on satellite, their theological degrees, but He touches them in a special way that cleanse them and change their lives to produce the type of fruits that re from His Kingdom. In the cases of both Isaiah and Jeremiah; their lips were touch. From that movement what came out was God own words. T he Bible describes it like this: “Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in His holy place? He that has clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, and sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation” (Ps.24:3-5). Does your Shepherd fit this qualification? Is your Shepherd hands clean when it comes to the message he/she preaches/teaches? Is he/her hands clean when it comes to money matters, women in the church, dispensation of justice and truth, not chasing/exploiting to gain things of this world/vanity above righteousness, or swearing in the name of God about things that are non-existent? Or is Shepherd is producing contrary fruits? The Apostle Paul caution us with these words: “Now the work of the flesh re manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, revelling and such like: of the which I tell you before, s I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God”. (Gal.5:19=-26) Be frank with yourself and check your Shepherd by this list. He/She might have lost the way and trough your help they can come back to the original purpose of their call.

From my last check I found out that 99.9 percent of the Churches have long ago lost the right track and are producing these fruits and encouraging their flocks to produce them. They hail them in their sermons, they practice them in their everyday lives and those who excel in them re made leaders in the churches today. If you are actually called by God , you will only produce sanctified fruits because; when God calls person he touch their lives in such a special that their lives produces only fruits of righteousness. The Prophet Jeremiah puts it this way : “And I will give Pastors(Shepherds)according to my heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding”.(Jer.3:15) Yes they are selected even before their births and sanctified according to God’s own plan even before they are send out to deliver any message. Why? Because there will be storms to face, heat from the devil’s furnace to brave, trials and temptations, accusations and persecutions. The Prophet Jeremiah describes it better than I could ever do in these words: “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green, and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit”. (Jer. 17: 7-8). The Lord prepares those he calls so that during the heat of life they will not fall. Now how were they prepared before their called? Let’s take Father Abraham for an example. He was not called until he had left his home, faced famine, had to go into exile, had to lie to the King of a pagan land, submit to his wife decision and have a child by his maid, attempted to sacrifice his son; before his mission was pronounced. It was his final test; because from that day onwards he graduated and earned the title Faith of Faith on earth and Father of nations in Heaven. All that time; forty years Moses was in the palace of Pharaoh, he was been train for a future battle; forty years caring for sheep in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, he was been train to Shepherd men , before he was finally called for his life mission by God.

Joseph was denied and sold, thrown into prison where he graduated to the called of his life mission. What about you? Were you truly called by the Lord? Were you sanctified by the Lord? Is your life proving it? If you were actually called by the Lord; no one would have to look far. Your light will shine because you will bear fruits of the Spirit. The Apostle Paul puts it this way: (your life will produce)”….love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance….and they that are Christ have crucified the flesh with the affections and lust. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another”.(Gal5:22-26) You will bear only fruits of righteousness in the evil world that you have been send to as n ambassador for God. You see if your life is as you were called by God produce; the Prophet Isaiah says:”He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from the holding of brides, that stopped his ears from hearing of blood, and shutted his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given to him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the King in his beauty; they shall behold the land that is very far off”.(Is.33:15-17) The Prophet Daniel added his voice to the argument with these words: “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever”. (Dan12:3) The Prophet Malachi also urge us with these words: “But unto you that fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings”(Mal.3:3) ; and the Prophet Hosea stated: “Sow to yourself in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you”(Hos. 10:12). Good fruits follow Shepherds who are called and sanctified by God and they hold fast during the time of storm and do not bow to the temptations of Satan for material gain.

I want conclude with these words from these men of God for those Shepherds who realized that they have gone astray and have been listed in the Kingdom of God as wicked: “If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that which he had robbed, walk in the statues of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not did”(Ezek. 33:15) Those lies and exploitations will surely catch up with you one day. It is only right that you keep these words in mind day and night: “Be not deceived; God is not mock: for whatever a man soweth, that he shall also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh rep corruption; but he that soweth to his spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting”. (Gal.6:22) “For if man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself”. LORD WE THE SHEPHERDS WHO YOU MANDATED TO CARRY OUT YOUR GOOD NEWS TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH; HAVE COME TO YOU JUST AS WE ARE; EMPTY VESSELS THAT HAVE FAILED YOU IN MANY WAYS IN THE PAST. RIGHT NOW WE ARE STANDING ON THE TRUTH OF YOUR WORD FOR CLEANSING AND REFILLING. YOUR WORD SAYS THAT YOU WILL GIVE US THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN AND EARTH THAT WHATSOEVER WE BIND ON EARTH WILL BE BOUND IN HEAVEN AND WHATSOEVER WE LOOSE ON EARTH WILL BE LOOSE IN HEAVEN. WITH THAT SAME POWER; FROM THIS DAY FORTH WE TAKE AUTHORITY AND BIND THE STRONG MAN SATAN AND SPOIL HIS HOULDHOLD AND TO TAKE BY FORCE EVERY BIT OF JOY, PEACE, BLESSING, FREEDOM AND EVERY MATERIAL AND SPIRITUAL POSSESSION HE STOLE FROM US. Often we complain about life, and the negative things that happen to us, forgetting that nothing is random,and that everything has a purpose... God knows why he chose you to receive this message.

Bible in one year: John 18-21 Memory Verse: "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before" Philippians 3:13 Bible Reading: Psalms 37:23-25 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. When God uses one of His servants to bless you, you can appreciate that servant of God but appreciate God much more. Why? God is the Source of blessing while His servant is only a vessel. Never turn a vessel into your source. If you do, both you and the vessel may get into trouble with God.

It was in light of this knowledge that Elisha, despite his devotion to Elijah did not forget the God of Elijah. He called for the God of Elijah and not for Elijah or his anointing at the River Jordan (2 Kings 2:13-14). Elisha faced a new reality after the departure of Elijah. It was a new phase for him. You need to walk in the understanding that life is in phases. When one phase ends, another begins. Psalms 37:25 says: "I have been young, and am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." According to this scripture, there is the phase of being a youth and another phase of being old. A new phase had just begun in the life of Elisha. The phase of Elisha the servant, who went everywhere with his master had just ended and another phase of Elisha the national prophet with several attendants has just begun. When the time for his next phase came, he refused to continue in the old phase. You must be ready to move forward. Stop living in the past. In 1 Samuel 25:1, after mourning the death of Samuel, David continued with his journey. Life continues irrespective of the challenges of each day, and so must you. Paul had to adopt a strategy of forgetting his past so that he could face his future (Philippians 3:12-14). Some people have lost their future to their past because somehow, they were never able to put the past behind them. Have you lost someone you love so much? Move on from that spot! Have you lost someone who promised to help sponsor your education or help set you up in business? Move on from that spot and another helper will surface. You could also receive direct help from above. Never allow past failures hinder your future success. Also, never allow past victories and successes hinder future ones. Stop dwelling in your past! As long as you remain at that bus stop of life, no new thing will come to you.

Move forward! Take a step into your future today! THE FATHER'S BLESSING: “I pray for you, yes you! The Lord will grant you the grace to let go of the past Pains and Aches! Disappointments and Betrayals! Reproaches and Shame! Failure and Defeats! The Lord will grant you the grace to let go of the past and let bye gone be gone! The Lord will grant you the grace to appreciate the present and the faith to look forward to a brighter tomorrow! There is no more shame, no more failure, no more defeat for you! You will be able to testify that you have been young and now old, you have never been forsaken and your children and children's children never begged for bread! It doesn't matter where you are right now, God has promised He will go before you and prepare a path for you! He will make your crooked places straight! Isaiah 40:4 "Every valley shall be lifted and filled up, every mountain and hill shall be made low, and the crooked and uneven shall be made straight and level, and the rough place a plain". He will bring you into a season where things are going to start falling into place! You are going to get breakthroughs that you didn't deserve! The promises that you've been standing on, you 're going to see them begin to come to pass! Start expecting that you are coming into a new season. Remember the economy is not your source - God is your source! He's the one who opens doors that no person can shut. Keep believing because God is going to make your crooked places straight and lead you down the path of Blessing and Vi±ctory in every area of your life! In Jesus' Name! (Amen)! KEY POINT FOR TODAY: If you don’t leave your past, it will continue to hunt you.

Before going farther, let know the meaning of the word season and sign. Sign is something that suggests the presence or existence of a fact, condition, or quality. A season is a suitable, natural, or convenient time or period characterized by certain occurrences. Introduction: The author of this book is John Mark, the cousin of Barnabas. He accompanies Paul and Barnabas on their first missionary trip but did not stay to the end of the mission; therefore Paul refused to take him alone on the second mission trip (Acts 15:36-41). So he went with Barnabas. Mark life shows that one failure in life does not mean the end of usefulness. Have you pass judgment on someone because of a mistake they have made? Or have you accepted the judgment of those around you because of that failure on your part? They may have been saying that you have lost your only opportunity, but our God is not a onetime opportunity God. You are not a failure or mistake because you made one or two. There is still some good in you my dear.

Your mistake may have cost you and other people around you pain; nevertheless you can still make it. My friend be a Barnabas to someone today. In 2Tim. 4:11 Paul speaking of Mark said he has become more useful to me in my ministry. “May you become useful to those who may be mocking you today because of your pass in Jesus name”. Bartimaeus showed great courage and determination in understanding the sign of the season. Jesus came to Jericho, a place of curse Joshua 6:26. It was rebuilt indirect disobedience to God’s command. Yet Jesus visited Jericho. Whatever your situation, God will visit every curse places in your life this month in Jesus name. Because he is the same yesterday today and forever. Jesus and his disciples were traveling to Jerusalem through Jericho. Jesus was on his way to celebrate the Passover festival. The Passover meal was (and still is) held as an annual event in each Jewish household. The meal commemorates the deliverance and Exodus of the children of Israel from the dominion of Pharaoh as slaves in Egypt, around 1450 BC. God commanded that Passover be observed as a memorial forever (Exodus 12:14). He also declared that it was to be kept by a service (Exodus 12:25). It was this festival that Jesus was going for when pass through Jericho. Whenever a Rabbi was traveling people crowded to listen to his words. People form every house were coming to join the group to go to Jerusalem. It was a time of history making. People who could not go could come to the roadside and wish those who were going God’s blessings. This crowd reached the exit gate, which is the northern gate of Jericho. There were people all around. Everyone was excited about the trip. Everyone was busy and engaged in his or her work. But in the midst of this busyness and noise there was a man sitting in the gate of Jericho who was having a tough time in his life. He had a physical challenge. This remains me of a situation I witness during our civil war in Liberia. The rebels capture our community and asked everyone to go over to their control area. Everyone was trying to save his or her life. I was a very old woman who could not walk. And it appears that no one could help her since everyone was in hurry to save their life. She was crawling on her knees saying in the Bassa language “where am I going since I do not know the way”. She was crying. Jericho was rejoicing but this man was having a tough time in his life.

46-everyone was busy accept him. As a blind he was lonely, rejected because he could not see. He had no other options. It was beg or be hungry It was beg or starve It was to beg or die of thirst. Church is there any Bartimaeus’ with us this morning. When the whole world is enjoying you are crying, it seem that you do not have a future to enjoyment. There is sorrow deep within you. Jesus is here today for you. Bartimaeus problem had literally changed his identity, to blind Bartimaeus. Have you been labeled with family problem, curses, misfortune and you are full of fear? There is hope today.

Three keys points we want to look at in this message I.

Understanding the sign of your season call for being sensitive to the current happening around you. V-47 Bartimaeus did not see Jesus because he was blind but he was told that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. They called him Jesus of Nazareth which was a historical fact. They knew his geographical identity. But Bartimaeus shouted, “Jesus son of David have mercy on me”. Now note; the word used here in the Hebrew is “Yeshua ben David” which is the same in English as the “Son of David”. This immediately identifies Christ as the Messianic King. So, here right away Bartimaeus uses a typical Hebrew or Jewish way to identify who was passing by. Let me say this “your ability to hear is an important factor in understanding the sign of your season. Because what you hear from a part of what you believe and who you are. The Bible says, “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ” (NIV). The crowed knew Jesus geographical identity but Bartimaeus knew him as the promise Messiah, the king of kings. In order word he knew him as Yeshoshua ha Masheach. When you look around yourself or listen to the news, what do you see happening in our world? What is this generation headed for? Be sensitive to all that happening in our world. Bartimaeus was sensitive to the happening.

II. To understand the sign of your season, there must be willingness for change. Change or changes are realities in life that are hard to accept, because most of the time it require sacrifices. That is why Bartimaeus shouted “Jesus son of David” have mercy on me. In verse 48, we are told that many rebuked him. They may have being saying to him keep quiet; a very important person is passing. He heard about Jesus historically but spoke about him prophetically. There was a battle between his past and his revelation. Be quiet! What Bartimaeus was confessing did not agree with what the people believe. They knew Jesus as the son of Joseph or the carpenter boy, for a blind man to be calling the carpenter son their promise Messiah was not possible. Some thought that the blindness has entered his head. Be quick!

Life situation or your current situation may have made many to reject you. Let it be known to you that your time of lifting is now. The bible says that the very people that told him to be quiet were the very ones who said to him “cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” Our God is so good. Those who turn their back on you, when you needed them the most, in their days of trouble, you will be their rescuer. Those who forsook you and spoke evil against you, during their days of hopelessness, you will give them comfort. Those who despise you will look to you for leadership. There are people around you, that do not have your answer and they do not want you to find it. But you must stand up for the truth if you will understand the sign of your season. My brothers and sisters, God can do the same for you this month. Bartimaeus was ready for a change. Are you ready? In what area of your life or ministry are you believing God for, for a change. III. Understanding the sign of your season called for being out front about the main issue. Bartimaeus may have had many needs but he knew that one solution in a particular area of his life could solve the rest of his problem. For some of us, our problem is not so much about money or marriage. There are certain issues in our lives, if we will only turn it over to Jesus, he will take care of the rest.

Marriage is not a solution for someone who has not die to his fresh, no. For once let us look deep within and pull out our hearts to the Lord in true repentance. Before Elijah was taken up, he said to Elisha, tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you. In order word he was saying, do you want my horse or houses? But Elisha knew that he needed one thing and that was a double portion of the anointing. Jesus said, “What do you want me to do”? He said “I want to see”. There was a desire for the season. Jesus said go your faith has healed you. He was deliverer from darkness to light. God is able to change your problem, no matter the situation around you; you can stay understand the sign of your season, and walk in newness of life. You can be like Moses, who at eighty years old still understood the sign of his season, it was said that he was slow of speech, but he spoke with the voice of faith as he lead Israel. You can also be like Caleb, nearly hundred and twenty years of age stay understood his season; he was still able to pursue the call of God. Age is not a problem for God, you can still get there. You will still fulfill that dream or vision. Understanding the sign of your season is very important, because it will give direction to your life. In conclusion: Understanding the sign of your season call for being sensitive to the current happening around you. Be willing to make and accept changes in your life and be out front about the main issue. There is always someone in the crowds who believes and are willing to understand the sign of the season. Are you that person? What season of your life do you want to understand?

The Shepherds Bugle is the voice of Shepherds Without Borders Lighthouse Ministries; which comes out once monthly to highlight messages, news, visions, projects, strength & weakness of the United Body of the Kingdom of God. Inspired Shepherds come together monthly to write message etc for the community of God chosen. Every shepherd chosen, charged, and called by God (YHWH) to care for His flocks is officially a member. Shepherds serve as an ambassadors of the Kingdom of God , advocates for petitioning God for mankind, administrators for the handling and distributing the truth of God's Word and they need a watch tower on the hilltop to help them not to crash against the stones of temptations placed in their path by the Devil.
