Arab-Canadian Artist L'omari brings an International Sound to the Global Phenomena that is Music
L'omari, tell us a bit about yourself, like where are you from? Your roots, your background ?
I'm a musical artist - born in Qatar, raised in Canada's Hamilton & Toronto, with family roots traced to Iraq.
Quite cultural! With all the experiences throughout your travels. How has this influenced your musical artistry?
It has helped me creatively express my real-life events into a mood-board by transferring it into sound.
What inspires you - your writing style, musical sound, & unique content ?

Tell us about your new single -
My debut single is called "Wonder Why" - which was inspired by a Tupac Shakur classic which I flipped & introduced today's new age sound with my style.
Seeing as though you love music so much - What makes this song so special that it is your debut hit?
I've always been in the industry, just not in the limelight. I wanted to build a portfolio first, learn about the industry, then release myself confidently. Now I got what it takes!
I remember watching an interview with Damien Marley in which he also meticulously released his songs - why "Wonder Why" specifically? "Wonder Why" was based on a true experience of mine that has a unique vibe of melody & lyrical rap that truly showcases my versatility as an artist.
You are quite versatile -what else have you been doing musically?

A bit of Kanye West's story in relation with producing, what else should we expect from you in the near future?
The "Wonder Why" video will debut on 10/10/2016, which was shot & directed by David Zennie. I also have 2 other songs that will be released early next year!
Exciting! Hard work seems to be paying off - how do you feel about the upcoming release?
I'm just grateful to be able to do what I love to do, while sharing my trials and tribulations creatively through my craft of music. I feel like I do it for the people
