Hawaiian Monk Seal getting an eel stuck up its nose. It squints when th eel is getting stuck up its nose. It is rare that it happens. The team only saw it 3-4 times in the last decade. When an eel gets stuck up its nose it is called “a case of eel nose: The team had never actually observed this until a few years ago. Mostly, the eel gets stuck in the right nostril. The seals feed on the bottom of the ocean. The seals don’t like to chase things that are fast. Monk Seals sneak around the bottom of the ocean. They like to go near the bottom of the ocean because they pick up rocks and eat the octopuses hiding under them. While the eel is going up the seal’s nose, it only has some self-defense. If the seal brings the eel out o the water, the eel will flail its tail. If the seals are lucky, they might survive the attack.

The Modern Day Titanic. A Canadian cruise ship hit an iceberg on Friday, November 23in Antarctica. The ship was in the middle of an ecological tour. This ending is happier than the real Titanic. There were 154 people on the ship. The ship captain called out a destress call 1:54 a.m. At 3:00 all the passengers were on lifeboats. The water was below freezing. None of the passengers got hypothermia or died. The Norwegian cruise ship saved the passengers from the Canadian cruise ship. When the bath bomb is in allot tttl1 i carttound very appealing. But do you know how they get so fizzy? Well, thatâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s what we are for and that is what we are going to tell yâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;all about. There are usually key ingredients--baking soda, citric acid, and cornstarch. An instructor in chemistry at North Dakota College named Frankie Wood-Black said this. He is also an expert bath bomb maker. Sometimes bath bombs can also include dyes, perfumes, and epsom salt. When the both bomb fizzes in the bath, the thing that makes it fizz is the baking soda and the citric acid. Most people know that carbon dioxide is a gas that forms small bubbles in the bath water, creating a crackling fizz. The salt from the baking soda and the rest of the citric acid molecules simply remain in the water. The cornstarch slows down the rate at which both of them dissolve. The effect of the bath bomb fizziness lasts only about 3-4 minutes. Making bath bombs is really easy and we think that you should try it. By Sienna and Leighton

But did it sit in the upper or lower jaw? And did it sit in both? Such questions were impossible to answer with the few and fragmentary specimens these researchers had to work With.Regardless the general consensus in the earliest hypothefic~ reconstrjctions of Helicoprion was that this terrible, toothy whorl surely served a defensive purpose. Later this century, this perception has changed, and researchers moved towards the idea that the whorl was used mainly for feeding, and therefore was associated with the creatureâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s jaw.But that didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t limit the possibilities Over the past fifty years, researchers have suggested that the whorl extended awkwardly from the lower lip, curling underneath the chin; sat inside the mouth where the tongue should be; or perhaps sat further down towards the throat.Jnstead of extending past the lower jaw and coiling underneath the chin, as had been previously suggested, the whorl grew inside the lower jaw. This way, just as sharks have multiple rows of teeth that are continuously replaced, Helicoprion had a partly concealed tooth factory that began near the area where the upper and lower jaws meet, ran over the mouth wear the tongue would be if it had one, and then into the cartilage supported by the lower jaws we think the helicoprion didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t have any teeth on his upper jaw, the predatory fish would have broken down its soft-bodied prey, such as cephalopods and small fish, by repeatedly slicing them with a single row of serrated teeth. When it closed its closed its lower jaw, the whorl of teeth were pushed backwards, providing an effective slicing mechanism for the blade-like serrated teeth and forcing food to the back of the oral cavity.the creature is not a shark, as others have assumed, but a chimaera (Holocephalan), which is a group of cartilaginous fish also known as raffish or ghost shRrks that branched off from the sharks 400 million years ago.

Frilled sharks or frill-gilled sharks are Hexanchiform sharks. Hexanchiform sharks have a single dorsal fin and 6 or 7 gill slits. The frilleci shark, Chiamydoselachus anguineu5 is currently one of only two known species of frilled sharks. The southern African frilled shark c. africana, was found in 2009. Frilled sharks are ell like sharks that reach lengths up to 2 m. Their mouth is located at the leading edge of their snout rather than underneath like most sharks. The frilled shark has a big, wide, and flattened head dominated by a large mouth. The snout is rounded and the mouth has many rows of needle sharp teeth, each having three points. There are 300 teeth which are arranged in 25 rows and point backwards. These teeth are razor sharp and perfect for eating cephalopods (mainly squid),other sharks, or bony fish. Feeding behavior has not yet been observed by this weak-swimming species, though they are thought to capture active, fast-moving squid by taking advantage of injured squid or those that are exhausted and dying after spawning. Alternatively, they may surprise their prey by curving their body like a spring, bracing themselves with rear Positioned fins, and launching quick strikes forward like a snake. They may also be able to close their gill slits creating negative internal pressure to suck prey quickly into their mouth. This species of â&#x20AC;&#x153;prehistoric sharkâ&#x20AC;? is very rarely seen alive because its natural habitat is some 600 meters or more under the sea. Ava swam up to the surface just in time. It was 2 minutes until the kindergarteners came to swim, and no one wants to be there at that time. Av always loved swimming. She was 8 when she found the swim team. When she was too old for that she did middle school swim. And there she was, right between the little kids and a math test.

Quickly she raced to the changing room and finished as the kindergarteners came in. As she ran to class the halls started streaming with kids. When she got to her locker she found a weird necklace with an amulet at the end. She touched it, and it started glowing. Then everything became blurry until it went black. When she woke up there was someone in her face yelling, “Where is it? Tell m now.” Dizzy, she sat up. “What do you want?,” she asked. The girl was at least her age with eyes blazing red. She was holding a bow aimed at her chest Behin her there was a boy who was at least 16. He looked like a surfer. “Lila, chill out. She just got here,” said the boy. Suddenly, standing up, Ava yelled, “Okay. Three things. 1. I don’t know what you want. 2. I fell into this crazy universe and it almost killed me. 3. I know karate.” Then, the boy said, “Give her a break. She just fell from the sky. And the dragon is getting impatient.” s soon as Ava saw the dragon she passed out. And wheft she woke up, she as flying.

Leah quietly creeped down the stairs. She didn’t want to wake up Charlotte. She knew what she had to do. Ok--so you’re thinking right now Wait who’s Leah, who’s Charlotte? Well let’s back up (beep beep beep) -4
