After 107 years the mule mascot for Reardan Mule Days is goin crazy’ as his whole family is loosin’ it over all the fun they plan to have. The annual community celebration takes place June 4th on the streets of Reardan. The town’s mascot mule “Jack� will trot all over town, tryin’ to keep up with everything goin’ on and lookin’ for his crazy friends and maybe even your family. The annual parade begins at 10:00 am on Saturday June 4th led off by the kiddie parade. Promising to exceed last year’s record of over 100 entries; Jack has invited all his friends, relatives & some “cool dudes� to particpate along with cars, floats, bands, tractors, wagons and a few surprises. Every child who enters gets a free Schwan’s ice cream bar! The celebration really begins Thursday evening, June 2nd, at 7 p.m., on stage, at the Smith Gym, when the Mule Days Players present a comedy titled “Murder’s in the Heir�, an audience interactive murder mystery-comedy. Additional performances are scheduled for Friday at 7 pm, Saturday at 4 pm and Sunday at 4 pm. Jack will watch teams bounce basketballs on the city streets as the 3 on 3 Basketball tournament takes place again in front of the high school right after the parade.
