Before the gloom and doom of winter sets in it’s time once again for the fall to grace us with cooler evenings and of course, The Spokane County Interstate Fair. The fair, as always, brings delicious junk food, thrilling carnival rides, national entertainers and new this year- a car show! To celebrate 66 years of fun at the fair we present the ‘Get Your Kicks, It’s Year 66 Car Show.’ Each day of the fair there will be a local Car Club showcasing their best rides. SPOKANE MODEL T FORD CLUB Friday, September 8 & Saturday, September 9 The Spokane Model T Ford Club was founded in 1972. This club is a chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America and of the Model T Ford Club International. At present the club boasts 109 families owning 219 Model T’s. The club meets the first Friday of each month at 7:30pm at the Oportunity Presbyterian Church in the Spokane Valley.

MISS SHIFTERS Sunday, September 10 Miss Shifters is an all girls club founded in 2007. The club was originally a classics only club but has now expanded to include practically everything with wheels. Friday, September 15 Spokane Mopars Unlimited’s goal is to, “promote the restoration and preservation of vehicles produced by Chrysler Corporation.” The tclub has traveled to shows as far as Columbus, Ohio. The club produces their own newsletter that includes information as well as, classifieds. The club volunteers their time in our local Spokane community and gives back to the Spokane Guild School and Second Harvest Food Bank.
The Historic Auto Society of Spokane and the Inland Empire (Hassie) was founded in 1958. Since day one the club has been for individuals with interests in antique and classic cars. The club meets the third Wednesday of each month.
