Fire & Stone Restaurant Review
Fire & Stone is located on Pattaya Klang close to Beach Road and being a fan of Italian food I couldn’t wait to try it out.

We went late afternoon as we had a young child with us so naturally; the place was quiet which was exactly what we were looking for. We were greeted by the lady who appeared to be the manageress who made us feel welcome. My first impressions were that it was a friendly and cosy place that was very clean.
When I browsed the menu I was impressed although I would have preferred a few more meat options. However, this didn’t really affect my thinking on this occasion as I had already decided upon the antipasti for starters - which is ample for two smaller eaters who don’t want to spoil their main course. For the main course, I opted for the Penne Arrabbiata a particular favourite of mine which was well presented and tasted delicious. My girlfriend opted for the Pizza Al Fruiti Di Mare which she again said was excellent.
After the starter and main course we were both feeling comfortably full rather than overfed which we both commented on a being very welcome. For drinks we decided to go for the house red wine which was pleasant and I thought represented excellent value for money. The drink options were certainly adequate to say the least and that is by no means meant as a criticism.
I like the fact that the place is open fronted which was ideal when taking a young child as he had something to look at and keep him occupied whilst we enjoyed the food. It is quite hard to comment on the ambience as it was (deliberately) quiet although the staff, including who I presume was the chef, were very pleasant and friendly.
Would I recommend the place? Yes, I certainly would and it offers a great alternative to some of the arguably better known Italians in city. Overall, the food, drinks and service were all very good and I certainly intend to return and will probably go at a later time just to see what the atmosphere is like.
