The Chariot and the Horse

Many who read this scripture will protest and say this is not the context of the scripture at all, but that the prophet is speaking about something that has already come to pass. Granted, but why do the prophet, after so many years say: NOW it springs forth, if it had already come to pass. First, let’s look at what the prophet referred to and then we might be able to understand the prophetic language with which YHWH is speaking to our generation. We must ask this one question: “Can YHWH use one experience and yet apply it in different times. The answer to that is yes, for by the same prophet, YHWH says: 9 Earnestly remember the former things, which I did of old; for I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is none like Me, 10 Declaring the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure and purpose, 11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east--the man Cyrus who executes My counsel from a far country. Yes, I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed it, and I will do it. 12 Listen to Me, you stiff-hearted and you who have lost heart, you who are far from righteousness, from uprightness and right standing with God, and from His righteous deliverance. 13 I bring near My righteousness, in the deliverance of Israel, it will not be far off; and My salvation shall not tarry. And I will put salvation in Zion, for Israel My glory, yes, give salvation in Zion and My glory to Israel. (Isa 46:9 – 13) Ampl YHWH in Yeshua is our Saviour and deliverer. He was the one who spoke all things into existence and who formed them in time. He can use anti types of types that had occurred in ancient times. Prophetic Layers in Prophecy… Let’s look at one of the most powerful examples in, which YAH revealed YESHUA. Through the word that came to the prophet Daniël, YHWH revealed that although the time of Israel’s captivity was over, after 70 years in Babylonian captivity, they would again be in captivity under many other oppressors, in the form of the Medes and the Persians. After them the Greek empire would arise and Alexander the Great would control the whole known world. Out of one of his generals would arise a contemptible man, to whom royalty was not given, but he would take the kingdom by intrigue and deceit. This man was Antiochus Epiphanes, who would be a type of the coming Anti-Christ. It is as if the word of God has prophetic layers built into it. Messiah would begin His ministry. Although the former prophetic fulfillment was a partial fulfillment for its own time, yet it could not have been fully fulfilled, because Yeshua would only appear in the time of the Roman Empire, which arose after the Greek Empire. After 7 weeks and 62 weeks, which his 69 weeks – 483 years later, did Yeshua started His ministry with these words, saying: “The appointed period of time is fulfilled, completed, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent, have a change of mind, which issues in regret for past sins and in change of conduct for the better and believe, trust in, rely on, and adhere to the good news, the Gospel.” (Mark 1:15) Ampl He knew that the time had fulfilled and it was time for Him to begin that, for which God had called Him. After 3.5 half years of ministry He was killed, but not for Himself, on the very day of Passover. Thus, the prophecy was only partially fulfilled in the Grecian Empire the first time. Was this prophecy fulfilled after Yeshua was crucified 3.5 years later? To our great surprise, the answer is: “No”. How do we know that there is yet more that was not yet fulfilled at Yeshua’s first coming? The prophecy continues, saying: “the other prince will come and set up the abomination of desolation.” Yeshua himself referred to this same prophecy, saying: 15 So when you see the appalling sacrilege, the abomination that astonishes and makes desolate, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the Holy Place--let the reader take notice and ponder and consider and heed this--16 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains; 17 Let him who is on the housetop not come down and go into the house to take anything; 18 And let him who is in the field not turn back to get his overcoat. 19 And alas for the women who are pregnant and for those who have nursing babies in those days! 20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, affliction, distress, and oppression such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be again. [Dan. 12:1; Joel 2:2.] 22 And if those days had not been shortened, no human being would endure and survive, but for the sake of the elect - God's chosen ones, those days will be shortened. (Matt 24:15-22) Ampl This prophecy has not fully come to pass in Yeshua’s time, although it was partially fulfilled, when Jerusalem was surrounded by all her armies, and those who were in Jerusalem at that time, who took note of Yeshua’s warning, did flee. Great signs appeared in the clouds, looking like chariots surrounding Jerusalem. Praise God who, in His mercy forewarned that generation, through a prophetic sign in the clouds, before the things prophesied by Yeshua started to take place. A Particular Mode of thinking… One other very powerful example of this concept of layers in the word of God is found in the book of the Revelation of Yeshua. The apostle John saw a woman who was riding on a beast. Then the angel came and gave John interpretation of this vision, saying: 9 This calls for a mind, to consider that is packed with wisdom and intelligence, it is something for a particular mode of thinking and judging of thoughts, feelings, and purposes. (Rev 17:9) Ampl Here the angel reveals a very important mystery, which I would not have been able to understand, if it was not for the grace that was given me to actually experience this, first hand, in the spirit. This is also one of the reasons why God had called me. Like Paul the apostle, trained under Gamaliël, I was trained in the one of the best universities in South Africa. I was taught to understand hard and difficult chemical and physical processes. God had given me a special gift to analyze and ask questions, in order to understand. This specific mode of thinking helped me to explain what I experienced in the heavenly sphere. Paul said this about that, which He was allowed to see and experience about Yeshua and His kingdom, saying: 3 And I know that this man, whether in the body or away from the body I do not know, God knows. 4 Was caught up into paradise, and he heard utterances beyond the power of man to put into words, which man is not permitted to utter. (2 Cor 12:3-4) Ampl It was not that Paul was not allowed to speak about it, but that it was hard to put what he had experienced into words. The reason for this, being, God is Spirit. He is outside of any limits of space and time. This in itself is a concept that is hard to explain. But, like Paul, I will say: “We do not have time to go into all these depths now.” The importance of these things, do however help to unite the fragmented church doctrines, which have caused so much division, clearing up the misunderstandings, allowing all of us to humble ourselves towards one another and learn from one another’s experiences of the Anointed One. Once we overcome this barrier, our minds will no longer cause us to be suspicious of one another because of fear, but will help us to love one another in trust of God. Even Paul understood this, explaining what true maturity in the Spirit is, saying: 15 So let those of us who are spiritually mature and full-grown have this mind and hold these convictions; and if in any respect you have a different attitude of mind, God will make that clear to you also. 16 Only let us hold true to what we have already attained and walk and order our lives by that. 17 Brethren, together follow my example and observe those who live after the pattern we have set for you. (Php 3:15-17) Ampl We grow in our spiritual understanding, as our understanding of God increases. As we learn, we start to order our lives according to that which we learnt. Let us not judge our brother who think different than us, but let us learn why they do what they believe, that is called mercy. We who are mature should be humble and always be willing to learn even from a child, thus God will keep us humble so that we may not become conceited, thinking we have arrived. Once we do that we built a monument and camp here to build ourselves a golden calf, causing us to fall into idolatry. We must remember love covers a multitude of sins or misses and mercy triumphs over judgment. All of us are on a journey, growing and maturing as we grow more intimately acquainted with Yeshua. This does not mean we can believe just want we want, because we so decided. Paul says this: 22 Your personal convictions on such matters--exercise them as in God's presence, keeping them to yourself, striving only to know the truth and obey His will. Blessed, happy, to be envied is he who has no reason to judge himself for what he approves; who does not convict himself by what he chooses to do. (Rom 14:22) Ampl We must choose, based on the Spirit of Truth, what we will believe, but as we grow we will understand more clearly the heart of the Father. of the divine plan previously hidden; but it is indeed not a wisdom of this present age or of this world nor of the leaders and rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away. 7 But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden from the human understanding and now revealed to us by God, that wisdom which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification, to lift us into the glory of His presence. 8 None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, all that God has prepared, made and keeps ready for those who love Him, who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed. 10 Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the Holy Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God, the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man's scrutiny. (1 Cor 2:6-10) Ampl Paul uses a very interesting concept, saying: ‘sounding’. When the depth of the ocean is determined a piece rope with a weight is used to determine the depth of the sea. Although we cannot see the depth, the rope with the weight on it can give us an estimate indication of the depth of the sea. So Paul says God has infinite depth to Him. We cannot even start to mentally fathom, using our best mental capabilities, to describe Him. He is truly indescribable! Yet we can measure and experience depths in Him as we grow and mature in Him, just as Paul said: 16 May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the Holy Spirit, Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality. 17 May Christ through your faith actually dwell, settle down, abide, make His permanent home in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, 18 That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints, God's devoted people, the experience of that love what is the breadth and length and height and depth of it; 19 That you may really come to know practically, through experience for yourselves the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge, without experience; that you may be filled through all your being unto all the fullness of God, may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself! 20 Now to Him Who, by and in consequence of the action of His power that is at work within us, is able to carry out His purpose and do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams 21 To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it). (Eph 3:16-21) Ampl God is infinitely beyond our highest logical thinking. He is also able to do super abundantly above what we can even image. God is not the limiting factor; our faith and understanding of Him limit us. All glory to God, who only confirms His word. Praise God. Let’s continue the explanation, as was revealed to the apostle John. arrive, he must stay but a brief time. 11 And as for the beast that once was, but now is no more, he himself is an eighth ruler or king, head, but he is of the seven and belongs to them, and he goes to perdition. Then the angel open up another layer in the prophecy saying: 12 Also the ten horns that you observed are ten rulers kings who have as yet received no royal dominion, but together they are to receive power and authority as rulers for a single hour, along with the beast. 13 These have one common policy and opinion, purpose, and they deliver their power and authority to the beast. I am not now going into the partial fulfillment of this prophecy, but only wanted you to realized only God can open up a scripture through super natural intervention from heaven, like He did for Daniel, for Paul and now also for me. Without God intervening, we would not be able to fully understand a vision or a prophecy, until He Himself opens up that prophecy to its next level. With all this said; the plan God has for this generation… A Way in the Sea, a path through the mighty waters… On the 29th of May 2008, the Spirit said to me: “Now the spirit of Pharaoh is rising up out of the earth, but I am rising up the Spirit of Moses!” See The Almond Blossom God appeared to Moses, by His grace, granting him an experience of God that changed his life forever. He would never be the same again. God had broken through, or came down, to speak face-to-face with Moses. God used a supernatural experience to appear to Moses in the wilderness. God was the initiator and not man. God saw the suffering of His people and heard the prayers they had prayed to Him. Then God decided to save His people from the hand of Pharaoh, saying to Moses: 10 Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring forth My people, the Israelites, out of Egypt. (Ex 3:10) Ampl Then God revealed Himself to Moses like He had up until that time had not revealed like this to no other prophet before, saying: I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you! (Ex 3:14) Ampl This was also the same revelation that caused the supernatural breakthrough to me, since the first day God appeared to me through powerful signs in the heavens. I understood that God could not be reduced to our religious minds or to our futile doctrines. I suddenly understood who Jesus was, through the Spirit on that day, when the Spirit gave me the interpretation of tongues, saying: “Lord, write your Name in Heaven that Pretoria can know that Jesus is God!” During that same day God appeared to me the first time, writing the Name of Jesus in the Heavens in the sign of a large sign of a capital ‘J’ in the clouds. Then Yeshua also said to me: “This will be sign that I have spoken to you – you will meet me on this mountain!” This was the very same words, which YHWH had said to Moses, saying: 12 God said, I will surely be with you; and this shall be the sign to you that I have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain, Horeb, or Sinai. (Ex 3:12) Ampl Three days after YHWH had appeared to me, He appeared to two witnesses together. we are going to travel, going to Arabia. Nearly 4 years later, I understood that Mount Sinai actually is not in the Sinai Peninsula, but in Arabia. Even Paul understood this, for he said: 17 Nor did I even go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles, special messengers of Christ before I was, but I went away and retired into Arabia, and afterward I came back again to Damascus. 18 Then three years later, I did go up to Jerusalem to become personally acquainted with Cephas or Peter, and remained with him for fifteen days. (Gal 1:17-18) Ampl This was the very place that Paul went to be trained by Yeshua. This was also the very place that the prophet Elijah went when he fled from Jezebel, who wanted to kill him. God send Moses back with these words, 19 And I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless forced to do so, no, not by a mighty hand. 20 So I will stretch out My hand and smite Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in it; and after that he will let you go. (Ex 3:19-20) Ampl God was about to breakthrough in a way He has never done before Moses’ time. He would stretch out His hand and do His wonders in the Land of Ham. On the morning of the 9th of May 2001, even before YHWH had appeared to me, revealing His glory to me, He gave me this Psalm as is written: 1 O GIVE thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known His doings among the peoples! 2 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His marvelous deeds and devoutly praise them. 3 Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek and require the Lord as their indispensable necessity. 4 Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength, His might and inflexibility to temptation; seek and require His face and His presence continually evermore. 5 Earnestly remember the marvelous deeds that He has done, His miracles and wonders, the judgments and sentences, which He pronounced upon His enemies, as in Egypt. (Ps 105:1-5) Ampl YHWH prophetically not only told me what was about to begin in my own lives, but also reminded me to remember Moses and the wonderful things, He, YHWH, had done in and through him, in order to deliver His people from the hand of their oppressors. Later the writer says: 26 He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron, whom He had chosen. 27 They showed His signs among them, wonders and miracles in the land of Ham or Egypt. (Psa 105:26-27) Ampl Prophetically Yeshua came to reveal that something new, yet similar to what He had done through His servants in the past was about to breakthrough on the earth. Even the prophet Malachi said this: 4 Earnestly remember the law of Moses, My servant, the statutes and the ordinances which I commanded him on Mount Horeb to give to all Israel. (Mal 4:4) Ampl Why does the prophet say this to the people? Sifting the Wheat from the Weeds… Earnestly remember Moses and how God brought him to Mount Sinai in Arabia, opening a way in the sea, going before His people in great power and supernatural provision, even feeding them with bread from heaven. The prophet is urging us to meditate and to remind ourselves of all that YHWH had accomplished through Moses. How God was faithful and did do all that He said He would do. Moses, in obedience had to do all that God commanded him to do. Malachi continues, saying: 5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. (Mal 4:5) Ampl Thus, we must be reminded of the prophet Moses and the wonderful signs that God had done through him. Then while we remember Moses, we must think of the most powerful individual and prophet after Moses Elijah. We must remember the kind of things, which God wrought through him. The prophet makes a powerful prophecy, saying: “I will send you Elijah the prophet.” Thus, another individual is coming, whom God has chosen and has set apart to accomplish the same type of changes and deliverance in these last days, before Yeshua is revealed in the heavens. Elijah was used by God to break the spirit of Jezebel, to reveal the hearts of the prophets of Baal. His very name declares his purpose: ‘El is YAH!’ With this statement He proved to the people who the true God is, as was written: 21 Elijah came near to all the people and said, How long will you halt and limp between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him! But if Baal, then follow him. And the people did not answer him a word. (1 Kings 18:21) Ampl When Elijah the Tishbite, appeared on the scene, there was a great division made in the people. People’s hearts were revealed and sifted. That is why the prophet Malachi said about this messenger, whom the Lord will send: 1 BEHOLD, I send My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me. Then the prophet speaks of the coming of Yeshua, saying about Him: And the Lord, the Messiah, Whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; the Messenger or Angel of the covenant, Whom you desire, behold, He shall come, says the Lord of hosts. 2 But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap; 3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the priests, the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord offerings in righteousness. 4 Then will the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasing to the Lord as in the days of old and as in ancient years. 5 Then I will draw near to you for judgment; I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, against the adulterers, against the false swearers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow and the fatherless, and who turn aside the temporary resident from his right and fear not Me, says the Lord of hosts. (Mal 3:1) Ampl The prophet Malachi is saying that a radical and powerful individual, like Elijah, will come. He will be sent before Yeshua comes. Although the messenger will be a mighty sifter of the hearts of men, he will be nothing compared to Yeshua. John the Baptist was a type of this coming messenger of God, of which yet another anti-type would come, to prepare the way before Yeshua appears the second time, to sift out the wheat from the weeds, by His angels, just as was said by the forerunner spirit of Christ, in John the Baptist: “His winnowing fan or shovel, fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear out and clean His threshing floor and gather and store His wheat in His barn, but the chaff He will burn up with fire that cannot be put out. (Matt 3:12) Ampl Yeshua came the first time to be servant and to be the Son of man, but when He comes the second time He will be the Lion of Judah and the King of kings, who will come to judge the earth. Jesus tells us another parable to explain how the people will be sifted, on that day, saying: 41 The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all causes of offense, persons by whom others are drawn into error or sin and all who do iniquity and act wickedly, 42 And will cast them into the furnace of fire; there will be weeping and wailing and grinding of teeth. 43 Then will the righteous, those who are upright and in right standing with God, shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Let him who has ears to hear be listening, and let him consider and perceive and understand by hearing. [Dan. 12:3.] (Matt 13:41-43) Ampl In the time of John the Baptist, he prepared the way before Yeshua’s ministry begun and indirectly also before the way for the beginning of the first church in Jerusalem, which was started on the day of Pentecost. Actually in those days both these ministries, John the Baptist and Yeshua, began nearly simultaneous, for that was why John was sent, as he himself witnessed, saying: 32 I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and it dwelt on Him, never to depart. 33 And I did not know Him nor recognize Him, but He Who sent me to baptize in or with water said to me: “Upon Him Whom you shall see the Spirit descend and remain, that One is He Who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. 34 And I have seen that happen--I actually did see it and my testimony is that this is the Son of God! (John 1:32-34) Ampl John the Baptist was sent to prepare the way and to reveal Yeshua as the Son of God. For He said: “I only baptize in or with water. Among you there stands One Whom you do not recognize and with Whom you are not acquainted and of Whom you know nothing. 27 It is He Who, coming after me, is preferred before me, the string of Whose sandal I am not worthy to unloose. (John 1:26b-27) Ampl Will God, once more, sift both the world and those who are religious, before Yeshua comes the second time? Will He once more, send us another witness, just like John the Baptist was send before Yeshua came the first time? From the directors: “The Witness”
