Inoxtrend user instructions 1) Before use, ensure the mains electrical isolator is switched on, the water supply is switched on and Gas (if applicable) is switched on, ensure the equipment is not damaged and is safe to use. 2) Using the uppermost control knob select the cooking function required. NOTE! Allow sufficient time to preheat the oven on first use, usually 15 minutes. FUNCTION SELECTOR
THERMOSTAT
is for Convection heat only, when selected, use the knob directly below the function selector to set the temperature selector to the required cooking temperature between 50 & 270 degrees C.
is for Steam only, when selected, use the knob directly below the function selector to set the temperature selector to 100 degrees C or above to create steam temperature, if the temperature is set above 100 degrees C the temp will be maintained at 100 degrees C on this mode.
is for Combination heat and steam, when selected, use the knob directly below the function selector to set the temperature selector to the required cooking temperature between 50 & 270 degrees C, the chamber will heat to this temperature with a variable amount of steam selected by low steam to full steam settings on the function selector switch.
is for a Cool Down function, when selected the door must be open, particularly useful if switching between high temp cooking modes to a cooler cooking mode or steam setting.
3) After selecting the cooking mode, select the cooking time using the timer selector switch. Turning clockwise will select the time in minutes. If you wish to select continuous cook, turn dial anticlockwise.
4) To illuminate the oven cavity press the orange button to switch on the light. For gas versions if the red light illuminates, this indicates gas may be switched off, ensure gas and extraction is switched on prior to pressing the red reset switch to reinstate the cook mode. 5) The humidity flap above the door is used primary where you want to dry or crisp the product, this flap is normally opened to crisp the outside surface of the product to seal the moisture in, after approximately 15 minutes this flap is closed to maintain humidity in the oven cavity to reduce shrinkage.
Cleaning the Oven This is a hazardous task, suitable P.P.E. must be worn. Apron, goggles, gloves etc must be worn, as the cleaning product is corrosive, please observe additional instructions and information provided on the COSHH data sheet supplied with cleaning product.
1) Prepare the cleaning product into a handheld spray, consult cleaning product instructions as some can be used neat or may require diluting. 2) Raise or cool the oven cavity to a maximum of 50 degrees C on standard convection mode. 3) Wearing adequate P.P.E. spray the cleaning product all over the oven cavity and inner glass 4) Close the oven door, select full steam setting at 100 degrees C leave running to self-clean for 30 to 45 minutes. 5) Open the door, select cool down mode to cool the oven cavity to below 20 degrees C. 6) Switch off the oven and using the rinse hose attached to the oven rinse down the oven interior. 7) Remove any large solid objects from the oven cavity base.
