Trust in New Beginnings
I’m excited to share a corporate update with you, including decisions that will affect each AIM Member in the future.
As we are all aware, new variants of COVID-19 and/or other new worldwide pandemics are being forecasted in the years ahead. With that in mind, AIM has given this serious consideration and has made a decision to discontinue future gatherings of AIM Members and AIM staff, in order to maintain the safest possible environment for all. To be clear, AIM is discontinuing future Celebration-type events.
However, there is GOOD NEWS! Thanks to you, the AIM Members, product unit volumes continue to grow year over year, especially in 2020, which has added to the bottom-line net profit for The AIM Companies™.
In consideration of this good news, AIM has decided to update the Member Income Plan and cash incentive contests by reinvesting from the budget savings of past Celebrations and increased 2020 net profits.

In other words, AIM will invest new corporate profits and savings from foregoing AIM corporate events into the efforts of our hardworking AIM Members. AIM also believes this long-term solution provides a fairer playing field for Members who are unable to attend a Celebration and allows all AIM Members to reap the same rewards for their hard work.
To quote Eckhart Tolle, “Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge.” And that is what AIM believes— changes happen throughout life, and when new plans emerge, you look forward with anticipation and regard them as new opportunities.
AIM remains dedicated to our special “partnership for life,” and I urge you to make the most of this opportunity.
Blessings to you all!

All About RediBeets
By Charlotte Meschede - Nutritionist

The humble beetroot, known as beets in the USA, is a frequently forgotten vegetable. Most people tend to think that the only way to eat beetroot is sliced, with sugar and vinegar and it comes in a jar!
However, there is SO much you can do with beetroot and it has such a valuable nutrient profile, that AIM long ago brought out RediBeets so the benefits of this magnificent root vegetable can be experienced by all, especially if you do not enjoy cooking! Redibeets is the dried juice of beetroot so it offers a concentrated dose of all the goodness found in these vegetables.
What are the main nutrients and benefits found in beetroot?
Beetroots are packed with essential nutrients, such as fiber, folate (vitamin B9), manganese, potassium, iron, vitamin C and dietary nitrates.
Nitric oxide is a compound that is produced in the body and is responsible for the dilation of the blood vessels. Nitric oxide is a (soluble in water) gas that is formed when dietary nitrate goes through the nitrate-nitrite-nitric oxide pathway in the body. If there is a reduced production of nitric oxide, then the homeostatic balance within the blood vessels is compromised, leading to a restriction in blood vessels (causing high blood pressure), platelet activation (increasing the possibility of clot formation) and adding to the inflammatory profile.
There are many supplements, especially in the bodybuilding section of pharmacies and health stores, that boast a high nitric oxide content. These supplements promise an increase in physical performance for all sports people, whether they excel in endurance or power-based exercise. However, the healthiest and easiest (not to mention cheapest) way to boost your nitric oxide profile is to EAT foods that promote its formation in the body. Apart from its vasodilatory effects, nitric oxide is responsible for the following: • Helps improve memory and behaviour • Improves sleep quality • Increases endurance and strength • Assists in gastric function • Decreases fatigue by reducing lactic acid buildup • Naturally increases stamina • Helps convert fat to fuel • Elevates physical performance
• Promotes fast full recovery after bouts of hard exercise • Boosts circulation
Over the last 20 years there have been over 60 000 scientific studies on Nitric Oxide. Just over a century ago, Alfred Nobel, the founder of the Nobel Prize, was prescribed nitroglycerin to help him with his heart condition. In 1998 the Nobel Prize for medicine was awarded for discovering the importance of Nitric Oxide in our cardiovascular system.1
1 serving of AIM RediBeets will provide:
Folate, which is basically folic acid, is important for DNA formation.
Vitamin B6 supports a healthy metabolism and red blood cell production.

Iron is required for the production of haemoglobin, which is the red pigment in red blood cells that is responsible for transporting oxygen throughout the body. In fact, in vegetarians or vegans, beetroots are a major contributor to the iron intake. The symptoms of iron deficiency include: fatigue, dizziness, shortness of breath, headaches and rapid heartbeat (tachycardia).
Calcium is an essential mineral required for bone and muscle metabolism.
Magnesium supports the immune system as well as heart, muscle and nerve metabolism.
Beetroot Juice and Physical Performance
This does require a special mention, because there are so many products available that are designed to improve physical performance, but are actually banned for professional athletes owing to the very rigid restrictions enforced by the World Anti-Doping Association. Adding beetroot juice to your daily dietary regime will undoubtedly help improve your nutritional status, allowing you to excel in your chosen sport. One of the compounds that this is attributed to is betalain, which helps to improve circulation of the body.
A 2018 study looked at the effects of betalain on 28 trained male cyclists. The cyclists received 100 mg of either beetroot concentrate or placebo every day for a week. Compared with the placebo group, the beetroot concentrate group had higher exercise efficiency and increased blood flow.3
In summary, one serving of RediBeets contains the following nutrients: • Is a pure, extracted juice from beetroot with ALL fibre removed. • Provides powerful antioxidants and compounds such as betalain, which helps improve circulation. • Has a its vasodilatory effect. • There are NO artificial additives, colourants or flavour enhancing chemicals. Contraindications to drinking Redibeets on a daily basis: • If you have previously been diagnosed with kidney stones, especially calcium oxalate stones, then avoid beetroots as they are relatively high in oxalates

From the American Heart Association:
• Blood pressure decreased about 10 mm Hg in high blood pressure patients who drank a cup of beetroot juice daily. • Beetroot juice contains dietary nitrate, which may help relax blood vessel walls and improve blood flow. • Increasing intake of foods rich in dietary nitrate may be an affordable and attainable way to maintain blood pressure.
RediBeets
• Nutrition for whole-body health • Rich in antioxidants such as betacyanin • Enzymatic actions • Cleansing and detoxification effect • Improves circulation • Boosts nitric oxide levels
Science Daily: “Daily dose of beet juice can promote brain health in older adults.”
Nitric Oxide and Anti-Aging
If you’re over the age of forty, then your nitric oxide levels may be taking a nosedive. Stress, high-fat diets, the aging process, high-fructose corn syrup, alcohol and obesity can all chip away at the valuable endothelial lining of your veins where nitric oxide is created. Nitric oxide strengthens the heart, relaxes your arteries and works to maintain proper blood flow.
