Welcome to the Albany We hope you find something you love in our autumn Playlist of performances and events, taking place indoors and outdoors, across our three venues – the Albany, Deptford Lounge and Canada Water Culture Space. We want everyone to feel at home in our venues - whilst we have dedicated Relaxed performances, we also welcome and celebrate audiences reacting to what they see in front of them as they share a live experience. We’ve got something for every age and every budget, with plenty of events where you can ‘PayWhat-You-Decide’ and we still offer £1 tickets to most shows (see back page), so you can see more for less and try something new. This season we’re proud to welcome the Family Arts Campaign (see right) to the Albany. It joins Fun Palaces (P3), the national (and international) campaign for the arts and sciences, as a major partnership hosted by the Albany. Together, they speak volumes about our ethos and approach to bringing people together with creativity. And, finally, this September we’ll unveil a refurbished Albany theatre. We’ve spent the summer making improvements to comfort, infrastructure and accessibility for artists and audiences and can’t wait for you to test it all out. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Gavin Barlow CEO/Artistic Director, The Albany

Dynamic Ticket Pricing We change the prices of some of our events based on demand. These events are clearly marked in the brochure. Usually the price will increase as the event gets closer so it’s advantageous to book early.
Pay-What-You-Decide We’re trying something new: some Hothouse and Albany events are priced on a Pay-WhatYou-Decide basis, so you book as normal but don’t need to pay until after you see the show. Pay what you can afford, based on whether you enjoyed the show, and avoid committing your money before you know if you’ll like the event. (Cash and card payments accepted).
£1 tickets
Try something new
We have a limited number of £1 tickets (10 for most shows) available for shows at the Albany. Come and see dance, drama, family shows and more for just £1. Subject to availability. Capacity dependent. Only two tickets per show per person. Up to two shows per person.
