President’s message First and foremost, I would like to thank all of the sponsors, volunteers, elected officials, and the entire community for coming together to host what I believe to be the finest and largest event in Brazoria County. It is such an honor to serve as your 2016 president for the Brazoria County Fair Association. I have been involved in this great association since 1985, and ever since then, I have noticed that there are three important factors that are pinnacle to this fair: Family, Friends, and Community. My family has been involved in the BCFA for several years, and I have been fortunate enough to have been able to raise all three of my children through activities and livestock competitions through our fair. I undoubtedly attribute and give credit to Brazoria County Fair for much of their success and the upstanding individuals they have become. BCFA is known as a time where close friends come together to help each other out, cheer each other on, or even just to give a pat on the back for encouragement. Without a community like ours, this fair would not be what it is today. We all come together to

ensure that everything is in place each year for a successful and momentous fair. I wholeheartedly believe that the BCFA traditions are ingrained within each of our hearts and will grow stronger in the future. I hope that you, your family, and your friends will join us Oct. 14-22 for the 2016 Brazoria County Fair. We have many great things planned, and hope you will join us in being a part of that tradition. Greg Kresta, President 2016 Brazoria County Fair Association
