T   he American Art Fair celebrates its twelfth year of bringing together museum professionals, collectors, and seventeen of the most outstanding American Art dealers in a central location during the American Art fall sales in New York. With their vast experience, extensive expertise, reliable reputations, and personalized services, our exhibitors offer their best works of 19th and 20th century American art. Our Fair is unique in choosing to focus exclusively on the best examples of historically important artists, presenting over four-hundred artworks in a thoughtful environment of reflection, personal interaction, and immediate contact. Our three floors of exhibitors and four lectures by prominent scholars and curators combine with other events to produce a celebration attracting visitors from all over the country. The three major auction houses’ American art sales have coalesced around the Fair, solidifying November in New York as the destination for American art. I am delighted to welcome you to the twelfth annual American Art Fair, and I salute all the dealers and our outstanding speakers who have worked so hard to make our Fair a success.
