Gemma King THE LATEST RECRUIT TO THE ANTI AGEING CLINIC TEAM What’s your speciality? I specialise in anti ageing treatments, CACI beauty treatments and eyelash extensions. I worked as a trainer for CACI International before joing the Anti Ageing team. What makes a good beautician? I believe in being conscientious and listening to each individual client to understand their particular needs. It’s important though to be confident and not be afraid to share your expertise and advice on the best treatments to meet their needs. What’s been your career highlight so far? I travelled to Libya to treat Aisha Gaddafi, the daughter of the former leader Muammar Gaddafi. As you can imagine, that was quite an experience. How has your expertise helped changed someone’s life? I have had a number of clients with really low self-confidence due to facial hair.
Using IPL laser helped them become far less self-conscious and boosted their confidence massively. It’s always nice to know you have made a big difference. What’s your favourite product? I swear by Pevonia’s Enzyme Peeling Cream. It’s great for removing impurities, dead cells and toxins and gives you a bright, smooth complexion. What’s your favourite treatment?
