Boehringer Ingelheim Recognized As Global Top Employer for 2021

oehringer Ingelheim, one of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, has been recognized for the very first time as a ‘Global Top Employer for 2021’ by the prestigious Top Employers Institute.

This year as a ‘Global Top Employer’, Boehringer Ingelheim joins the ranks of 16 other international organizations to receive this outstanding honor. While the organization has received awards on a country level for the past seven years, and in addition to the global award, the company has been further recognized as a ‘Top Employer’ across 27 country categories, spanning the European, Asia-Pacific, Latin-American and Middle Eastern regions. The independent Top Employers Institute certifies employers worldwide who wish to offer their employees excellent working conditions and support their development. Certification is based on a multi-level program to examine human resources management with detailed final feedback. Boehringer Ingelheim particularly impressed the certification board with its long-term strategic orientation, its modern management culture as well as strong employee communication practices, with its inclusive corporate culture also cited as a highlight.
