AL KUWARI'S BROODMARES’ SALE CATALOGUE IS ONLINE

One of the most successful Qatari owners is handing over some of his broodmares to I Want The winner for dispersal on Thursday 8th December, with the catalogue now available to view online. Al Kuwari's colours have been made famous in recent seasons by Lady Princess, Hadi De Carrere and Moshrif and a reduction of his broodmare band presents an exciting opportunity for breeders.

The sale is comprised of 12 broodmares from some of the best Purebred Arabian bloodlines known worldwide: the fruit of a selection process.

Among them, dams of winners, sisters of black types and broodmares in foal to No Risk Al Maury, Dahess, Nieshan and Mashhur Al Khalediah, the winner of the 2019 Jewel Crown, who went to stud in 2022.

Catalogues highlights include:

Lot 1: AJS AL MAANAGIEH out of the beautiful line of Nevadour and half sister to Ayisha de Faust who produced Easter De Faust, winner of the Fillies Qatar Arabian Trophy Gr1 PA and of the HH The Emir's Silver Sword. This daughter of Amer is placed four times in Qatar. She is in foal to Nieshan.

Lot 3: DIYALA out of Cherifa’s strain, the same as the black types Djelmane and Djabra'il Her first foal is a filly by Al Mourtajez. This young broodmare, free of Amer blood represents an interesting prospect for matings. She is confirmed in foal to Dahess

Lot 4: FAHOUARA is the full sister of Dorfa, (10 wins including 2 Gr.1 PSAR), she is offered in foal to the young stallion Mashhur Al Khalediah, winner of the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Jewel Crown (Gr1 PA), he is a stallion with a good scope, speed, and resistance. Fahouara herself winner and placed in France and Qatar is the dam of Qatar Derby winner: Ain Jalout.

Lot 6: LA MUSAWAMA is the winner of the Umm Salal Oaks Trial at 3yo She is a half sister to Muthhil, winner in France and Qatar. She comes from a family of multiple stakes winners such as: Nez D'or (Dubai Kahayla Classic Gr 1 PA), Nirwan (HH. The President Cup Gr.1 PA) and Noreen (The Hatta St. Gr.1 PA). She is confirmed in foal to No Risk Al Maury.

Lot 9: SPIRALLE dual winner at 3yo in France, daughter of the blue hen mare: Speed; therefore, the full sister of Skoop and Spleen, both PA group winners. This broodmare, exempt of Amer blood, is presented in foal to Dahess.

Of interest to followers of UK Arabian racing are lots 10 and 11, Starbella D’Ibos and her Majd Al Arab daughter, Starnana D’Ibos. Starbella D’Ibos is a half sister to ARO leading horse of 2017, Dofina D’Ibos (by Mahabb) who won three races from 9.5 furlongs to 14 furlongs and is the dam of the three year old Mayfair (by Al Tair) who was placed on her last behind the promising Lujain.

The broodmares are standing at the Haras de Saint Faust in Laroin (France) where visits will be possible on appointment.

The auction will take place on Thursday 8th December from 2pm to 4pm (French time); there will be a 5 minutes delay between each lot and 1 minute of extra time if a bid is placed at the last minute.
