THE ARBUTUS CLUB

Our home away from home is steeped in a rich history. From our early beginnings in the 1960's to the present day, we fondly reminisce on our roots and favourite memories with selections from The Arbutus Club Archives.

Hockey, among other ice sports, have always been an important part of the life and culture of The Arbutus Club. One of the initial catalysts to build was born out of the need for ice time in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

From our Adult Hockey League (AAHL) to our Minor Hockey Avalanche teams, our history is rooted on the ice. Heck, we've even had some of the biggest names in the sport show off their skills – from the revered Mr. Hockey to our favourite Canucks.
