TABLETOP COLLECTIONS I have fallen in love with the backgrounds and stories of these plates and glasses, these utilitarian wares. The clay, the paint, the layers of craftspeople that make it all possible. As much as we can, we seek out and strive to support small artisans and specialty craft people across the globe with our family business. From tiny studios here in Los Angeles, to glassblowing workshops in Poland, and hidden treasures from Turkey or Philly - we have wares that have been touched by many hands. Collections that tell the stories of many dreamers. In my seeking out of the extraordinary, I have discovered how rare it is to find these treasures in a sea of consumer goods. Nonetheless, across all cultures, there is a magical component running through the arts that translates to every language; and that is where we find BEAUTY. Beauty is a shape, a form, a color‌ a joining of form and function that allows people to find joy in the simplest of our daily rituals. When we dine together, we are in a space of sharing this intrinsic beauty. Even if we don’t recognize it, even it is not screaming at us. It is there.
