Vaccination Requirements 2022

Page 1

Dear Students and Friends of the Art School at Old Church: Thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate through the pandemic together. We are grateful that so many of you have come back to participate in person. With the safety and comfort of our entire community in mind, I am writing to clarify changes to the school’s COVID-19 protocols for the spring semester. Please continue to take your temperature upon arrival and always wear a mask inside The Art School. In addition, we will require all students taking adult classes and workshops to be vaccinated before enrolling for spring. Requests for certified medical exemptions will be considered in consultation with instructors. We ask that you follow the simple vaccination verification process below: 1) Check-mark the waiver box in ASAP when you register online for spring classes and workshops to certify that you have been fully vaccinated in accordance with CDC guidelines (two Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, or one Johnson & Johnson vaccine). Online registration starts February 15th. 2) Present proof of vaccination on your first day of class. The instructor will make note. It goes without saying, if you feel sick, stay home. Inform us immediately if you test positive for COVID-19, so that we can initiate contact tracing. Follow your doctor’s advice and CDC guidelines, including the appropriate quarantine period. Return to school after you have received a negative result on a COVID-19 rapid test. For more information, please visit our COVID-19 Policy & Guidelines. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly.

Sincerely,

Jerry
