COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines (as of 9/1/2021) The purpose of this summary is to outline our school’s safety guidelines for the facility during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Art School at Old Church operates in compliance with New Jersey State’s vaccine and testing requirements. Executive Order 253 By entering The Art School at Old Church, faculty/staff/students certify that they: • Have not had a fever for at least 72 hours (e.g. 3 full days of no fever without the use of medicine that reduces fevers). • Do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 including cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, feelings of lethargy or body aches, or loss of taste or smell. • Have not been in contact with anyone that they know has been exposed to, may have symptoms associated with, or was diagnosed with COVID-19 for the 14 calendar days prior to the intended visit. Staff, faculty, and students who cannot certify all of the above must not come to The Art School. These guidelines have been carefully considered to address and promote the safety, health, and welfare of our community. In summary: • All students are required to wear masks in all public spaces and studios. • Temperatures will be checked upon entering the building. Anyone with a temperature of 100 degrees or higher will be asked to leave. • Students should bring their own supplies and limit the sharing of equipment. Please thoroughly clean your area at the end of your class session. Antibacterial/antiviral spray cleaner and paper towels will be provided in each studio. • The coffee station will be closed at this time. • Our professional cleaning service will thoroughly clean and disinfect the building on a regular basis. The Art School staff and faculty will assist with daily cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch areas within the reception area and bathrooms. • If students (or anyone in their household) are suspected of having COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID19, they should notify the school immediately. Your privacy will be respected; however, we will take necessary action to communicate any potential spread of the virus, including closing for a short time in order to clean and disinfect the building. • We will continue to monitor state and local health department notices daily about transmission in the area and adjust our operations as necessary. We ask that everyone respect the guidelines above. Stay healthy. Stay safe. And stay home when sick. Thank you for your cooperation in our efforts to keep our entire community safe.
