The Old West End, 2015 Installation In the late 1950s, Toledo became a major manufacturing hub for paint by numbers, a craft that allowed artists of all skill levels to enjoy painting. "The Old West End, 2015" is a collaborative piece meant to celebrate our city's rich history in the arts. Artomatic visitors of all ages are invited to experience the paint by number phenomenon by adding color to a 21­foot long illustration of Old West End architecture. Artist ­ Maura Amato will teach interested painters brush techniques as they add color to this black and white mural. www.maurameyers.com


Athena Art Society’s Installation Athena encourages community viewers to participate by creating a design to fill a space in a zentangle wall mural. Markers are available! Athena Art Society ­ Founded in 1903, Athena is the oldest continuous women’s art organization in the country and a founding member of The Toledo Federation of Art Societies.
