Welcome to Bass Performance Hall. On behalf of the Performing Arts Fort Worth staff and Board of Directors, I thank you for joining us.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome back a new production of a classic musical, Annie, along with a couple DFW natives in the cast! What I love most about this story is how timeless it is. For generations, Annie has reminded us that no matter how grey your day, sunshine is just around the corner. May this production be just as inspiring as you remember it, and most importantly, leave you fully dressed with a smile.

Next on the 2022-2023 Broadway Season is Broadway’s funniest new musical, Tootsie Coming to Fort Worth, May 9-14, Tootsie is a laugh-out-loud love letter to the theater. We hope you’ll join us for the show Rolling Stone calls “musical comedy heaven.”

In February, we announced the 2023-2024 Broadway at the Bass Season presented by PNC Bank , and the response has been glowing. From your excitement on social media, to the record numbers of renewals and waitlist registrations, we’re thrilled to see you just as excited about this new season of Broadway as we are.

The 2023-2024 Broadway at the Bass Season presented by PNC Bank includes Disney’s Frozen, Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird, SIX , Disney’s Aladdin, TINA - THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL , Hamilton and Mamma Mia! This stellar lineup features two season add-ons: the previously announced return of The Book of Mormon and Jagged Little Pill. While the deadline to renew season tickets has passed, new season tickets go on sale the week of April 10. Join the waitlist to get priority access at www.basshall.com/waitlist.

And finally, we look forward to celebrating 25 years of Bass Performance Hall with you this April with two free community events open to the public: a Resident Company Showcase featuring the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Opera, and the Cliburn on Saturday, April 8; and a Community Open House for a chance to get a rare behind-the-scenes look at this wonderful venue on Sunday, April 16. Visit www.basshall.com/25 for more information on both of these events.

As always, thank you to all of our sponsors and donors for their generous contributions and continued support. Now put all your hard knocks aside as we welcome Annie!
