Welcome to Bass Performance Hall. On behalf of the Performing Arts Fort Worth staff and Board of Directors, I thank you for joining us.
It may not be April Fool’s Day, but I think it’s safe to say that after the last few years, we could all use a laugh. It gives me great pleasure to welcome back to the Hall the King of Rant himself, Lewis Black, in his new tour, Lewis Black: Off The Rails. A Grammy Award®-winning stand-up, film actor and comedic legend, Lewis is no stranger to Fort Worth. Known for a comedic brilliance all his own, Lewis has a natural gift for helping us all chuckle at the absurdities of life. I hope that you leave tonight’s show with a lot of laughs and some great memories.
Lewis Black: Off The Rails comes to Bass Hall as part of the 2022-2023 BNSF Popular Entertainment Series. The series concludes with the UNT One O’Clock Lab Band Spring Showcase May 5 at McDavid Studio. Individual tickets are on sale now. Our 2022-2023 Broadway Season continues next month with Broadway’s funniest new musical, Tootsie , followed by Hadestown this summer. The 2023-2024 Broadway at the Bass Season presented by PNC Bank includes Disney’s Frozen, Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird, SIX , Disney’s Aladdin, TINA - THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL , Hamilton and Mamma Mia! This stellar lineup also features two season add-ons: the previously announced return of The Book of Mormon and Jagged Little Pill. Season tickets are on sale now online and by phone.
