Welcome to Bass Performance Hall. On behalf of the Performing Arts Fort Worth staff and Board of Directors, I thank you for joining us.

Spring is finally here, and I can’t think of a better way to commemorate the changing of the season than with tonight’s show. Our Planet Live In Concert is a celebration of life on Earth, or as one of our co-narrators William Shatner might say, our little green rock. Based on the landmark Emmy Award®-winning Netflix series, this live concert event combines breathtaking HD cinematography with all-new orchestrations by Oscar®-winning composer Steven Price. Not to mention, a donation to the World Wildlife Fund will be made by the tour for each concert. I hope you enjoy this immersive experience highlighting our ever-changing planet, and what we can do to help it thrive.

Our Planet Live In Concert comes to Bass Hall as part of the 2022-2023 BNSF Popular Entertainment Series. This incredible series continues with the King of the Rant himself, Lewis Black, returning to the Hall April 15 with his Off The Rails tour. The series closes with the UNT One O’Clock Lab Band Spring Showcase on May 5 at McDavid Studio. Tickets to these shows are on sale now at www.basshall.com

Our 2022-2023 Broadway Season continues next week with a familiar favorite, Annie, followed by Tootsie and Hadestown this summer. The 2023-2024 Broadway at the Bass Season presented by PNC Bank includes Disney’s Frozen, Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird , SIX , Disney’s Aladdin , TINA - THE TINA TURNER

MUSICAL , Hamilton and Mamma Mia! This stellar lineup features two season add-ons: the previously announced return of The Book of Mormon and Jagged Little Pill. The deadline for current Broadway season ticket holders to renew their season tickets is this Friday, March 24. New season tickets will go on sale the week of April 10. Join the waitlist at www.basshall.com/waitlist to get priority access.

And finally, we look forward to celebrating 25 years of Bass Performance Hall with you this April with two free community events open to the public: a Resident Company Showcase featuring the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Opera, and the Cliburn on Saturday, April 8; and a Community Open House for a chance to get a rare behind-the-scenes look at this wonderful venue on Sunday, April 16. Visit www.basshall.com/25 for more information on both of these events.

As always, thank you to all of our sponsors and donors for their generous contributions and continued support.
