Calling all children aged 0-10 and your grown-ups!
Hullabaloo in the Park is returning to Darlington this summer, and we have some big news to share with you. Join us from 26-28 July in South Park for so many fantastic things to see, make and do for FREE!
That’s right, this year’s festival programme is completely FREE to attend! Families can enjoy three days packed with brilliant events and activities, without paying a penny!
Come along for an outdoor extravaganza of performances, music, dance, storytelling, play experiences, pop-up entertainment, messy play, crafts, workshops, activities and amazing food in a magical land of creativity and fun! Hullabaloo in the Park is specially designed for children aged 0-10 and their grown-ups, and there is something for every family to love.
Most of the festival will be drop in. Just find the things your family want to do in the ‘What’s On’ section of the website and turn up! Everyone is welcome. There are a handful of pre-bookable workshops and neurodivergent friendly sessions, also free, and a range of tasty delights from visiting food vendors at reasonable prices.
Prepare to experience joy and wonder all over the festival with so many magical things for you to see, make and do for free!

Hullabaloo in the Park is brought to you by Theatre Hullabalooan award-winning creative charity for children and families. We are committed to helping children and the grown-ups in their lives be the best they can be for each other.
Every year 28,000 people visit our theatre, take part in our family festivals, or enjoy our free creative play programmes. We bring wonder, joy and magic to some of the most deprived communities in the UK.
We couldn’t do any of this without the generous support of our festival sponsors.
