Their ultimate goal is to leave an imprint with all of the products that they design, test, and release to the public. because you own it. We want for people to align their lifestyle with a brand name that speaks and gives life to that image. Why did you choose the name NCMPRBL? I’ve always been in love with the word and world of being INCOMPARABLE. Like I said, your story is YOURS and no one can tell your story better than you can, because it’s yours, you own it. I wanted a brand name that spoke and gave life to that image. I obviously knew the actual spelling of “incomparable” was long, so creatively came to the idea to omit the vowels and there came NCMPRBL. I call it “second-look” worthy. If you see the world NCMPR BL, it’s going to catch your eye and make you wonder “what is that about?” even if it initially catches your eye because, at firstglance, it’s spelled the way it is.
What does NCMPRBL mean? Being NCM PRBL means that your story is yours and no one can tell your story better than you can,
What do you specialize in, what are you most known for? NCMPRBL is a fashion/design brand and we
specialize in watches and fashion accessories. What sets you apart from others who are do ing the same thing? We saw a problem and positioned our pas sion to solve that problem. I’ve loved watch es since I was in elementary school. From the Japan Quartz to Swiss, different Crocodile Leathers, 316L Stainless Steels, different types of scratch-resistant glasses, etc. So being that I’m well versed in the history of watches, we outsourced to manufacturers for advanced quality. Since we are direct to consumer we can make our products affordable for our Customers. We’re one of about 10 registered black-owned brands highlighting watches as our focal product in the country. Even slim mer representation of a brand created by a millennial who prioritizes the millennial de mographic. What are you most proud of in your business? As a company, we are most proud of not com promising our values of Focus, Advance, Qual ity, and Experience to exemplify the "Create Over Conform" experience for our clientele. Can you explain to us what Create Over Con form is? Create Over Conform is the result of not allow ing others to place you in a stereotypical box, no matter what it is. Our culture, our life ex periences, our individual stories are instilled in the make-up of our products. Does NCMPRBL have any core principles in which your business is based on? NCMPRBL is founded off of our sole principle to simply, "Be NCMPRBL." We aim to advance the culture in fashion and digital content via four models. What is your company built on? What is a philosophy or quote that you live by? Our cultural model and motto is, "Create Over Con form." I, 1000 percent live by it in every facet of my life. As a creative brand curated by millennials, we as pire to use our growing platform and tell our story to turn dreamers into doers.
If you could offer any advice to someone wanting to follow your path what would it be? Do not compromise your vision. Be patient. Do re search. Treat your business like a business and it will give you the same energy in return. Be a sponge. There's always someone that knows more than you. Seek help. Surround yourself with a small team of individuals who are strong in the areas that you will need help with. Fail forward. Be comfortable with stepping out of your comfort zone. Always remem ber, Sacrifice before Success."
