Community Spotlight

April is the month when spring blooms fresh beginnings, yet somehow we have been thrown for a loop into a Steven Spielberg movie. The world is on lockdown as we flatten the curve of a scary virus that has become a pandemic. This is something that none of us have seen in our lifetime. Coronavirus (COVID19) affects all of us in some way or another and we don’t know what lies ahead. It is crucial that we all act as a community that looks out for one another. We need each other now more than ever. Please be mindful.

You can call 211 to learn more about available resources and information. For example, local schools are offering free meals for kids and teens. There are 12 school sites for this free service. If you have an abundance of food, consider donating to local food pantries such as the Sharing Center of Central Brevard. We will continue to publish updates on our website and social media pages.
