The Hilton Head Branch Library celebrates summer with trivia, movies and art programs for adults.

“Rise ’n’ Shine Summatime Trivia” offers prizes for winners at 10 a.m. Tuesdays, July 11 and 25. Categories include pop culture, literature, movies, music, history and science.

The “Page-to-Screen Movie Series,” held at 3 p.m. every other Tuesday, screens a movie based on a book. The July 11 film is “Where the Crawdads Sing,” based on the book by Delia Owens; the July 25 movie is “Little Women,” based on the book by Louisa May Alcott.

Adult Art Studio is scheduled for 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 13, offering an hour of judgment-free art creation. The session is suitable for creators of all skill levels to try drawing from a provided still life display or those who need a quiet place to work on their own art projects.

Pencils and paper will be provided, and artists may bring their own supplies.

Call the Hilton Head Branch reference desk at 843-255-6525 for more information about these and other programs for adults and children. Library hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Hilton Head Library is located at 11 Beach City Road.
