Plastics for Change helps waste pickers in India gain access to more sanitary working conditions, a fair price and the respect and recognition they deserve. In 2022, over 2,000 waste collectors were engaged in our partnership, over 50% of whom were female.

Basavva Madar is a sorter who has also benefitted from Plastics for Change Foundation. They help communities with financial literacy programs and health camps providing much needed health checks.
