Implants vs bridges Every lost tooth is necessary to replace as soon as it possible .That means to prevent moving of agonist teeth and the antagonist .To prevent loosing a vertical dimension, difficulties in nutrition and anatomo-phyisiological function

As we said at least one tooth needs to be prepared, in good condition, no remaining caries after prep, If it is necessary to do the perfect endodontic treatment. A lot of doctors will convince you that the implants once integrated will lasts for a life time. But it's false . Nobody talks about the implants which failed after a couple of years. (From different reasons, and in the world frame lifetime of implants is about 10 years). The same is with dental bridges approximately 10 years. But it is much easier to change the bridge ,usually it’s easy procedure with a little recontouring of adjacent teeth . With the implant is a little bit different .when it has failed because of periimplantitis , or losing the bone from different reasons .The recovery of the soft and bone tissue is difficult. Usually it needs to be performed an augmentation procedure with artificial bone and maintaining the soft tissue for at least tree to six months. Dental hygiene in both cases needs to be in high level. It is easier to obtain a hygiene on implants and using the special brushes ,and limited flossing on bridges, usage of water pick to prevent the gums, and remove the remaining food and detritus under the bridge. Which treatment is better ? What’s the difference between implants and bridges? In the past the bridges were the only solution and it involves more then the missing tooth. The “adjacent”teeth need to be prepared by removing the most of the enamel, in order to replace with prosthetic material in order to fabricate the bridge.

They can be slightly translucent like natural enamel to give a lifelike appearance. Strength is very good. Emax rarely chips or breaks. Veneers are thinner and more prone to chipping. The crowns are around 1.0-1.5 mm thick, so tooth preservation is moderate. Zirconia metal free crowns and bridges: This is a good choice when we are looking for a aesthetic and strength. There are two different types of Zirconia, one fused to porcelain and another as a monoblock full Zirconia.
