The Mini Farm Project is taking a firm stance against food insecurity by establishing a new charity farm in Wamuran at LuvaBerry and will be able to grow up to 40,000 meals a year. The produce will then be distributed at no charge to local charities like Global Care, Freedom Church and Breakfast Club Redcliffe.

Founder Nick Steiner says, "We plan to create a number of charity farms in the Moreton Bay Region to help fight hunger and feed people in need."

"With the rising cost of living the need for our farms is more urgent than ever." Nick said.

Apart from selling coffee online, to help fund this new charity farm Nick and the team have come up with a unique online fundraiser.

"Nourishing Hope, Faith, and Charity in Uncertain Times," which promises to be a transformative event featuring a panel of distinguished guest speakers. These esteemed speakers, including Councillor Brooke Savige, Von Barnes from Pinnacle Properties, Pastor Matt Prater from New

Hope Church, Pastor Phil Cutcliffe from Springfield Christian Family Church, and Joshua Plumb from Nexus Care, will share their insights on cultivating hope, nurturing faith, and fostering charity within our community.

The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 7th from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and will provide invaluable knowledge on maintaining positivity and staying on the right path, even in the face of daunting challenges. Drawing from their personal experiences, the panellist’s will offer guidance on sustaining faith and hope while actively supporting this worthy cause.

"The best thing is that the event is online so there is no need to travel, park or get out in the cold" Nick said.

By participating in this event, you will not only gain valuable insights but also contribute to this essential cause.

"If 10,000 people join our online event we can fund this farm the very next day" Nick said.
